3 generations from 80 to 16 had an amazing vacation here. The tiki bar and the pool and the entire back patio area was the highlight of our stay in beautiful Ana Maria Island. Every room was clean and comfortable and the location was about as good as we could have hoped after going to many restaurants and shops close by.

Everything was just how the Manager described it. My family was very impressed how comfortable and warm it felt and enjoyed every minute there. In fact we are considering renting it again last year. If you are looking for quiet, beautiful and easy access to everything, this is it!! Is sits at the end of a canal and we DID see Manatee there a couple of times. My Grand Children were in there glory.

We enjoyed our stay- easy beach access (golf cart was a big plus) and plenty of other things close by the house (restaurants, ice cream, pier, etc). The pool was great and we really liked having the outdoor space, though it wasn’t quite as nice as we were hoping. It was good to have the 2 levels (one for each family) with separate entrances but it also made it a little tough to keep an eye on the kids at times.

Stayed with some friends before going to an event in Sarasota the house was beautiful and in a great location !

The property was wonderful and location great😎. The pool over looking the canal was the highlight of the property as we all spent our days there. We also took advantage of the kayaks with many hours out on the water! The provided golf cart was new and a great way to get around. The owner Carolyn was a joy to work with and I cannot speak highly enough of the way she handled a family emergency we had during our reunion. Her support was world class! This property is a must for your next gathering in Anna Marie😎😎

We enjoyed our stay. It’s a perfect location! It’s a short walk to the beach and the local shops and restaurants. Only thing, the pool is small and the heater stopped working.

I was looking for a place that I could bring my friends from all over the country together to celebrate my birthday and this place did not disappoint. There was plenty of room for everyone and everything we needed for a great time. The real winner of this house is the pool area. We spent most of our time on the back patio, enjoying the large pool and tiki bar area. Mornings on the upper deck were great as well, with a wonderful view of the bridge to Tampa. All-in-all, the location was a dream!l And finally, I want to thank Carolyn who was one of the most responsive hosts I’ve ever dealt with.

This property is as advertised. Was clean with great towels and linens. Close to everything we wanted to experience on AMI. Great place!

The property was amazing! Eleven adults from two families called it home for a week and nobody wanted to leave! The hurricane cut our trip short by a day but Carolyn was very nice and even offered to help us find a hotel inland. The house has everything you need for a fabulous vacation! The golf cart was perfect for getting around the island too!

This was one of our best choices over the years. Separate spaces with the 2 complete kitchens and entrances was perfect. The pool was large and when we weren’t at the beach, we were in the pool.We had a golf cart, so going to the beach was easy and enough chairs and towels were provided. Surprised at all the different outdoor areas to use.Air conditioning worked beautifully and best of all…no adults sleeping on twin beds.Each bedroom had a comfortable king size bed and their own bath to use. The younger ones used Kayaks in canal. We will definitely rent again if they’ll have us!

The house accommodated all of our family. With the 2 kitchens snd grill at the Tiki bar we all ate well. The location was great with beach access across the street and the golf cart for running errands.

Perfect location and the house staff were very responsive. Our rental cars stay part for almost our entire trip while we use a golf carts to go all over the island and it sure made parking convenient. The house is in a perfect location and was amazing! The pool was much larger than I expected and the temperature was spot on. The only miss was that the underwater blue light was not working and we were looking forward to trying to attract some fish by the dock. We would definitely come back and stay again.

Traveled with 6 adults and 3 small children - the two separate living quarters were ideal for gathering together while giving everyone a sense of privacy when needed. The location cannot be beat and the amenities (pool, dock, ping pong table, tiki bar) provided plenty of entertainment for all ages. We had one minor cleaning request which was handled quickly and appropriately by the host. Overall, would definitely recommend this property.

Great spot for our big family from kids to grandparents!

We have been coming to Anna Maria Island for a family holiday (from Ireland, England and the US) for many years now and it's our favourite place on earth. We've stayed in some lovely houses, but Bayside Inn has beaten the lot! WHAT an amazing week we had. The house is in such a fantastic location, close to Pine Street with all its shops, almost next to The Waterfront restaurant and the City Pier, and within walking (cycling, carting) distance of the gorgeous beaches. Bayside Inn is beautifully presented with lovely furnishings, some gorgeous artwork and is so well equipped we wanted for absolutely nothing. The bathrooms are wonderful - great showers, as well as (unexpected!) high-end toiletries which was a nice surprise and an added bonus. The split-level accommodation worked very well for a big group and having two kitchens was invaluable. As for the outside space and all it had to offer - I am almost speechless! The patio furniture, beach equipment, kayaks and - of course - the pool were all amazing. The tikki hut sparked some "interesting" cocktails and anecdotes - it must have taken some time to collect all those signs! We've stayed on a canal before but we've never seen manatees, so imagine our delight when several turned up and stayed around for a few days. We were all thrilled. The golf cart was another big plus; several of us took turns to drive it and we had so much fun....it really was wonderful. Throughout the whole booking process and up to and during our holiday, home-owner, Carolyn, was just brilliant. So warm and friendly and so helpful. She offered so much advice and responded so quickly to our requests during the holiday. She has a terrific team working with her too and they ensured the house and pool were kept up to scratch during our stay. I simply cannot recommend this property too highly - it really is an absolute gem, but please don't tell too many people or we'll never get booked again! We are already talking about next time! We all now have treasured memories of our holiday in Bayside Inn and from a grey and rainy morning in England, "next time" can't come soon enough! Thank you again Carolyn - we'll be back soon. xxx

We enjoyed our stay at Anna Maria Island. The house was just beautiful. The two levels worked out perfect for us. The pool was amazing. The owner went over and beyond making our stay wonderful. We would love to return.

Our family has been going to AMI for 7 years and this home was by far the best house we have stayed in! The pool and tiki bar are beautiful and a great place for family to hang out. All bedrooms and bedding were very comfortable. Kitchens were well stocked with upscale cookware. Proximity to Pine Street and restaurants was a big plus. But the most important aspect was the attention provided to any request we asked from owner, Carolyn, and her property manager - they responded very quickly and were so accommodating. We are looking forward to staying here again in 2023.

Our family enjoyed our stay at this home. It was perfect having the 2 separate units with the upstairs and downstairs. The pool was wonderful. The golf cart was an absolute blast to drive around. The location was perfect to get around to beaches and restaurants. The only issues was the boat at the dock. We were unable to fish from the dock or even sit down by the water. The listing showed 2 underwater lights and people sitting at the dock fishing. We understand that there was fishing off the pier and other places. We did not want to have to leave to fish. Other than that the place was great and we enjoyed our stay immensely. The communication with Carolyn was very prompt and helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone coming AMI!

The house is updated with 5 bedrooms with king size beds and 5 bathrooms which is rare to find. The floors were amazing and comfortable instead of hard tile. The owner needs to be clearer on what is considered a "Heated Pool". I paid a pool fee with the purchase only to find out the pool was cold. I complained to the owner and had to pay an addidtional amount to get the pool heated. The house needed to be cleaner. We celebrated Thanksgiving in the house and I paid premium for that week only to find things like the pot holders filthy. The pillows smelled of over-use of fabreze to combat the body order. We found hairs on the pillows and candy inside the cases. One of the bathrooms had lots of hair in the shower which means it was not cleaned. Long story short I felt very nickled and dimed by the owner.

This is an updated and luxurious compound, perfect for group members to spend time together when they want, and separately when they want. Great furnishings, inside and out. Nice area, no damage from Ian anywhere around. We highly recommend!

Very cool residence. Tiki bar, great pool, great outdoor lighting, private dock on canal. Kayaks, 6-passenger golf cart, comfortable accommodations for 8 adults and 4 children.

We loved our stay. The two kitchens are well appointed, and the location is awesome. Having the golf cart was such a great bonus. Keep in mind that it’s two units, one on top of the other, that make up the property. Both are included, but it can be a little loud downstairs with people walking around upstairs. The owner was super responsive and helpful. Will definitely be back.

We had such a great time! The house was perfectly clean and the management followed up quickly on any needs or questions. The location is ideal. Close to good restaurants, beach spots, and other activities. We used the golf cart a lot. Awesome pool and fun setting with kayaks to use on the inlet. If you want a space to spread out, relax, and enjoy time together… this is it!

This was a great house for 2 families. We each had our separate spaces but were able to come together for dinner/hanging at the pool. There were no stairs inside to connect the levels but that wasn’t an issue for our families. The neighborhood was pleasant and quiet and close to restaurants/shops. We walked to eat and get ice cream. You’ll need the golf cart to go to the beach- which is gorgeous! Beautiful crystal clear water and flour-like sand. If you are choosing this place like we did specifically to bring your boat to keep at the dock- take note that the listing now has a boat lift at the dock. We booked a year before our trip and confirmed through communication (that I have receipts of) via VRBO that we could have our boat at the dock. When we arrived with the boat and realized there was a boat lift we anticipated being able to use it. The owner was difficult to reach and when she eventually got back to us (the next day) she said she didn’t remember saying we could have the boat at the dock and that we would have to pay to use the lift. Thankfully we were able to figure a way to tie it up and enjoy the rest of our vacation. Amazing fishing and snorkeling. We really enjoyed our vacation and the home despite the issue with the boat.

The property was perfect for my family.

We loved our stay here. Great location beautiful pool area. The house met all of our needs and more. The hostess was very accommodating and quickly responded to my questions. The only reason I didn’t give a 5 star on everything is that it isn’t listed in description that there is only outside stars. I only found this by reading some recent reviews just days prior to our trip. However this wasn’t an issue for us with our family dynamics and the weather cooperated but it could be for others. Overall I would definitely recommend this property and rebook in the future

The pictures make the inside allot spacier! But our favorite spot was the tiki bar! We ate outside and played games and swam and fished! Beds were comfortable we used the down stairs kitchen. We cooked some meals and also ate at the local restaurants! Pool was at a great temperature! The golf carts are a must! We even grocery shopped with them! We loved the beaches as well as the beautiful sand! Loved having a TV in all the bedrooms! Really enjoyed this house! Two couples that didn’t like stairs stayed down stairs. Getting to upper level you need to use spiral stair case from the back yard and other stairs from side of house!! Easier for suitcases!!! We loved this house and where it is located! The canal was fun to watch from the pool! Fish jumping and birds! No Manatees or turtles were seen! Enjoyed kayaking too! Ice hockey table doesn’t work well do to the salty environment. A ping pong table would work!👍 we would love to go back!!!!
