My husband and I and 13 of our friends stayed at the Dupont Estate for 3 nights for my husband's 40th birthday. The property is GORGEOUS first and foremost, and everything is well taken care of--you even have almost everything you need--just buy food and drink and enjoy your stay! There is a ton to do on the property, you never have to leave. We loved the Sonos music system, the amazing kitchen, the grill, and of course the pool the most--but everything is to die for. Our friends that didn't accompany us saw our photos on social media and couldn't get over how beautiful the property was. When you're at the estate, you truly feel like you have your own hotel property to yourself! It was the perfect getaway for us to be able to concentrate on our time with friends. Each bedroom is well setup, everyone had a unique room and a nice bathroom. The owners were very easy to contact and very helpful without being intruding. We cannot recommend the Dupont Estate enough. We hope to return very soon!

I can not express or begin to describe how perfect the property is. My husband and I had our small (55 people) backyard wedding here. We were recently engaged when we met Lynne and Rob and saw the house for the first time. It was our first property viewing and when we saw it, we decided to look no further. It was exactly what we wanted. We had family coming from out of town and it was the perfect location for our newly blended families to spend the weekend together celebrating with us. It also was spacious enough to for us to have all of the festivities in the same location. We had a small meet and greet BBQ the Friday before the wedding which gave some guests a preview of our wedding location. Everyone was amazed!! The yard is so spacious that our ceremony took place on one end of the property and the dance floor, seating area and buffet were located on the other end. All of our wedding photos were taken at different locations on the property which provided a colorful and spectacular backdrop for our day. Lynne is outstanding and genuinely wants your experience at the estate to be a positive and memorable one. She actually helped me plan our wedding and made suggestions that made my life much easier. A number of people have contacted me after viewing our wedding photos to request information on the location of our wedding. The pictures included on VRBO and on the resort website are beautiful but do not reflect how beautiful the property actually is in person. We truly blessed to have had the opportunity to spend our wedding weekend at the Dupont Estate Resort.

A perfect property for a large group! We had 5 families staying on the property and it could not have been any more fun.

This house is an excellent option if you need to accommodate larger groups of people. We did not want to go out to restaurants every night, so we opted for a chef to cook for us one night. The house was as described, spacious, very clean and well kept. The whole process from beginning to end was well managed and smooth. We enjoyed our golf retreat away from snowy Canada. Thanks again.

Rented for my wife's 30th birthday over Halloween weekend. Property was as described and much more. Perfect compound feel for a large group of family and friends. Solid location near Costco, Bevmo, and Palm Desert restaurants/nightlife. Pool, sauna, outdoor firepit, lawn setup was great. Had great group meals at the house too. Sonos music is definitely a big plus for the tech savvy. I've had horrible experiences with security deposits after the fact but this experience was fair and great. Lynne is great with email, text and phone communication.

On November 27,2014 my wife and I celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary. We were looking for a site that was not too difficult to get to and one that would accomodate the two of us, our four children and their spouses and our nine grandchildren as well. The Dupont Estate was the perfect answer. The entire facility is perfect for adults and children with a very large yard for every activity you can imagine as well as a beautiful clean pool and jacuzzi. We arrived to a spotless home with all of the amenities, even a piano which could be used as a player piano or standard piano for the grandkids to show off their musical skills. Our family likes to cook and the large kitchen and brand new barbeque were perfectly suited to us. I really can not think of anything more that could be said and the owners were very easy to deal with. I suppose the best reviewI can give is that the entire family wants to go back next year.

We recently rented the Dupont Estate for a guys' reunion golf weekend. We had 13 and the house easily accommodated our entire group with mostly everyone having their own bed and own room. The pictures listed are fantastic, but none really do it justice live. It's a ranch-style home with a guest-house and a spa-house (1 bdrm) in a compound style setting with huge grounds in the back-yard. The bedrooms rooms are all impeccably maintained and styled in a really nice and fun manner. The beds are comfortable and there are multi-zone AC controls that allow for different temp settings for any unique personal likes. Fans and HD flat-screens are in all rooms from what I remember. The guest house is really cozy and we originally thought would be more of a crash-pad but it actually served as a great place for poker games and ping pong tourney on it's attached patio. It also have a full kitchen which was great. The main house is super-nice but very comfortable. The bar area was a lot of fun to use and the kitchen is incredible. The grounds though were the highlight for us. The pools is really large and the jacuzzi can accommodate a big group, although we didn't use it much. There is also a great horseshoe pit and a fire pit which we really made good use of. The yard is huge and open and you could easily have a football or soccer game or bocce or all three at once considering how big it is. The yard is surrounded by fruit trees and palm trees which give it an oasis type of feel. It was really serene in the evenings and there was no threat of noise issues for neighbors as the property is so large that I doubt that anyone even knew we were there, which says a lot for a group of 13 guys that didn't turn in early. There's also plenty of driveway parking if you have multiple cars too. This is just a really unique property for the desert and the owners are really great to work with. They can set up chefs or masseurs to come in, but we didn't opt for that. This is really a home-run property that is ideal for large groups, events, reunions, or whatever. Thanks again, Lynne!!

Review #9467888 “Superb Business Retreat” 6-Stars The DuPont Estate housed our annual Managers conference in October. From the beginning of organizing the week's events, owners Lynne and Rob were extremely helpful with all the little details we had to plan. The open spaces of the estate were important for the multiple meeting venues needed for breakout sessions, team building events and attendee round table sessions. The guest house provided us with the large screen TV for Skype meetings with out-of-state guest speakers and a room large enough for everyone to be comfortable in the business atmosphere we needed. The kitchen adjacent to that area also provided refreshments and product discussion sample room all refrigerated. One evening we built teams and organized a cooking contest, everyone participated and the Main Kitchen, outside Grill, and Guest House kitchen provided more than enough space. It fun, competitive and a great hands-on learning experience- The entire home is appointed beautifully, all outdoor areas to sit and relax, small meetings and even an occasional croquette matches played well for open space and comfort. Meeting Owner Lynne and all her exuberance to get it just right for her guest’s requirements is a testament to great execution. You can ask anyone: Who would ever go to a Hotel and deal w/catering and those hard chairs, when there is a beautiful Estate where you can meet on your schedule.

What an unbelievable weekend we just had at the Dupont Estate. We had a wedding in the Palm Desert area, and the groom,/Groomsmen and parents stayed in this property. We also had a 100 person BBQ/pool party at the property on Friday for the “groom’s dinner” event. We had friends in from all over the USA. In two words, the guests were “blown away” by the property. The grounds are so big, and well manicured, and the house is so “chic.” You feel like one of the Kennedy’s at Martha’s vineyard in the backyard. Lastly, Lynne and Rob are two of the best people you will ever meet. They truly, truly want you to have the time of your life when you stay at their property. Any extra help they can provide on restaurant recommendations, vendors, anything it can be, they are willing to lend a hand. It was so appreciated. When we were planning for the weekend, we had a number of conversations, and Lynne gets as excited for you as one of your closest friends can be. I cannot recommend this property more highly. It is perfect, the owners are perfect, and you will have a great time.
