Our group of 9 adults has just returned from a week's stay in this beautiful villa. Our whole experience was perfect, from the excellent communication of Jane, the property manager, to the location and layout of the villa itself. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this stunning property - in fact, we're already planning. return visit next year!

Great property at a breathtaking location.

We first booked this property when we thought our party was going to be 9-10 ppl. We ended up as a party of 7, but couldn't bear to choose another location (there aren't many in this area!). It was truly spectacular. The online photos/description are very accurate yet it takes your breath away when you arrive. We were greeted by Jane and she tended to any needs during our 4-night stay (pool temp, small elevator problem - must be we as Americans like our pool water a little cooler!). She oriented us completely to the property upon arrival. This is luxury seclusion, while you enjoy your own infinity pool, gazing at the ocean. So quiet and serene. Kitchen has everything you'd need and there are grocers nearby (few minute drive). The driving is interesting, very narrow roads with a lot of hairpin turns, but that is typical for the region. Several minute drive into Begur for charming dining/shopping, just don't have too much sangria while you're out! The home is furnished with some very interesting artwork that also delights. If we ever return to this area, this has to be the place. Treat yourself, you won't regret it! Thanks to the owners for sharing this lovely and unique home.

Waking up to the serenity of the water view and getting into the heated pool of this property is one of the highlights of my first trip to Spain. The place was very spacious for our family of seven adults and one child to spread out or come together to enjoy the pool, a pingpong game, or a meal at one of the indoor or outdoor dining tables. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking and the outdoor grill is a great option for a delicious meal. Within a short drive of about 15 minutes we reached the local grocery store or the charming little town of Begur. (Hint: make a left when you leave the villa to drive on the two-lane road instead of the narrow one lane road to the right.) Our host was very responsive and attentive to our requests and needs. Our whole family loved this property and had a memorable time at Begur.

A superb villa. Very well designed and equipped for a relaxing break. We were a party of 9 and there was plenty of space for an excellent holiday in this glorious location. Helpful management and very considerate and accommodating owners.

We are just returning from a week, 4 adults and 6 kids ranging in age from 8 - 13. The property manager, Martha, was outstanding from answering questions in advance, giving day trip and restaurant suggestions, receiving a food/grocery delivery before we arrived, was very responsive throughout our stay, and cooked for our kids 1 night. She’s an incredible asset of the property. The house was fantastic, fit our group well and is larger than the pictures depict. The view was incredible, it was quiet and our kids loved the pool which wasn’t heated but still had a lot of use. The elevator was a nice feature given the 3 levels. Overall the layout was perfect for us, including the kids. The area itself is beautiful with wonderful views and access to the walking paths, neighboring towns and beaches. The drive from the house to Sa Riera is a difficult road to travel on by car as several spots are single lane, with blind turns on a steep hill. After a few stressful days of trying to manage this, we ended up taking the longer route through Begur. Walking to the beaches was not very conducive, particularly for our younger kids for the same reasons and would take longer than advertised, even for a fit group. Car parking at the house was easy, but parking in general in the surrounding towns and beaches was very difficult given it was prime holiday season. One restaurant in Begur that we loved was Diferent. A small quaint and cool location with amazing local food.

Really enjoyed our stay at Villa Sa Riera. Air-conditioning was a godsend during very hot week. Martha looked after us so beautifully. View and location were spectacular. Great place to unwind in a beautiful unspoilt part of Spain.

We enjoyed a family vacation here April 24-30, 2017. The house is spacious, comfortable, with incredible views from every room. The house consists of three levels so there is privacy for different groups and both stairs and an elevator to get to each level. The beds and furniture are very comfortable. The house is well equipped with washer, dryer, and dishwasher. The pool was fabulous and located right off the deck and living space and enjoyed especially by the three children with us. The motor bikes were fun too! While the location is gorgeous, we recommend getting to the house through Sa Tuna rather than through Sa Riera which our GPS took us through the first time. That way is accessed by a one lane road that is rather curvy and can be difficult to find. The beaches nearby were great although the water a little too cold to swim in at this time of year so we were happy to have the pool. This region is very picturesque with medieval towns and the wonderful Dali Museum is nearby in Figueres. The only downside for us was that internet access was slow and unavailable at times. The property managers Martha, Anna, and Rosa were friendly and helpful and always available when we had questions. We highly recommend this property for anyone who wants a quiet and beautiful vacation.
