Wonderful stay at this VRBO. So close to Hartshorne woods for trail running and just across the bridge from Sandy Hook and Sea Bright sea wall. We had an awesome time! The place was clean and has three balconies that were perfect to relax on. Dog Friendly. Check in and out were a breeze and the hosts were very responsive. Parking available. We ate seafood at Bahr's and highly recommend it!! Overall perfect stay for my family and I. Would definitely recommend this place to others. Thank you again for such a wonderful time!!!

We loved our stay here! The house was neat and clean with fantastic views of the Shrewsbury River, Sandy Hook, Highlands, and the NYC skyline. We enjoyed watching the boats go by from the bulkhead and our (four!) balconies over cups of coffee in the morning and glasses of wine in the evening. We loved being able to walk to some of our favorite restaurants and across the Highlands Bridge to the beach. The hosts were great and very responsive. We can't wait to come back!

We had a great stay here with our 2 kids (4 and 6). Walked to Bahrs for a great dinner and did the Seastreak cruise up the Hudson to Cold Spring. It was a fun filled weekend and Highlands is such a cute town to explore! Will definitely come back!

The rental owners are very kind people & obviously take excellent care of the house. Will forever continue to rent from them as it is a great location, super well taken care of and near anything you may want to do while on vacation! Highly recommend.

This home was the prefect spot for us to take a break from 2020, to breathe in some peaceful waterside scenery and just relax. It also happened to be close to where I grew up, close to a sister and daughter living nearby, And close to my parents final resting place. Having 3 patios was terrific, because although sunny for almost the entire time, the weather was chilly and windy (from the NNE) and the south side patio received the most use since it had the wind break and the sun. This was the last week of summer and the week that the restaurants brought out their portable heaters. Location is the best. We walked to restaurants and around the neighborhood. Everything else we wanted to do was just a short drive away. This property had everything we needed: 2 br, 2 ba, views, patios, very clean. We were very impressed with the availability of hand soap, hand sanitizer and paper products (tp & pt) which is not an easy feat in theses times!! Larry & Gary were nearby if needed and always responsive to our email messages. We certainly would stay again!! Thank you for your attention to detail and your lovely restful property!!

We had a wonderful stay with family members! We rented this unit as well as the cottage. Lots to do in the area.

This rental was perfect for a quick getaway from the city, conveniently located near restaurants, and quick access to the beach by car! Highly recommended. We will definitely be back!

I was here for two weeks and loved every minute. House is clean, fresh and bright. Beautiful morning sunrises. So nice to wake up looking at the water. Great location to a few restaurants and sandy hook. Gary was responsive on Every question/suggestion. Sorry to be leaving.

Sadly hurricane Isaias came through during our stay, but the location was perfect and we felt right at home. The property manager was very friendly and easily accessible. Definitely intend to return.

The property was clean and outdid our expectations - it was even more beautiful in person than we could tell from the photos. The location was great, it was just a short walk across the bridge to highlands beach. We had a great stay and would definitely come back again!

Great ease of check-in and Larry the owner was very responsive. Only drawbacks were location was not great, it is good location but not great. Proximity to resteraunts and bars within walking distance but home is tucked away in lot with several apartments and other rentals. Mid way through stay another party arrived in an adjacent rental house and occupied 3-4 parking spots making parking a hassle. Only other thing would be to have home professionally cleaned between guests.

Every room is clean and new with beautiful beach decor! All amenities were top quality from the towels and bedding to the furniture. The kitchen was immaculate and had all of the comforts of home. The location has a beautiful view. It is within walking distance to restaurants and a very short driving distance to the beaches. I hope to stay again on my next trip to Highlands, NJ!

Larry's place was extremely clean and welcoming for myself and another couple who stayed there. We were within walking distance to restaurants and just a short drive to Sandy Hook beach. Great location!
