The Cottage was Cute and Quaint & My Wife was pleased with the Fireplace Heater that warmed up the little nest really nicely and kept it comfortable all of the stay. The classic DVD collection was a nice little bonus and We enjoyed a few while waiting for the sun to show up. We'll the Sun never did but We still enjoyed our time there very much . We definitely plan on coming back for a stay with some sunshine and warmth the next time . Thank you so much , Stephen & Shannie

Another great stay for our annual family vacation. Adding a cottage to our other rentals is perfect and my sister and her husband love this one - so cozy and well furnished. And love the front row seat to the lake - beautiful views and an easy walk across the street. Thanks - we’ll be back!

Great cottage for 2 people, across from lake, Convenient to boating & activities

We have been to this village of cabins as kids and were very excited to find some for rent. We arrived to find the same peace and tranquility I experienced as a child. Its a beautiful place. We asked the owners to have the cabin professionally cleaned prior to our arrival. We paid extra for it. Upon our arrival we found coffee cups that had dried coffee in the bottom, blood on the mattress cover and pots under the kitchen sink and toilet tank to catch drips. The one box fan had a short in the switch and the one kitchen chair has been broken for years and apparently repaired by a tenant several years ago according to reviews. We discussed this with the owners and they reimbursed us for the lack of cleaning. That being said.....I give this 5 stars for ambiance but 1 star for cleanliness. I honestly feel the owners need to come up more often to make sure the place is kept clean, not once a year as some people reported.

The weather was beautiful and so was the view. The cottage was perfect for our little getaway!

The screen door, and inside door need to be replaced. There are a lot of gaps, and the wood appears rotted in places. The large box fan did not work, and the small oscillating fan was rather useless. We also had a lot of problems with the tv. Most of the time, service of any kind was unavailable. My husband was also disappointed that there was no local fishing. Also, the wood chairs inside were in poor condition. We actually had to glue one of them because the back pulled out of the seat. Now the positive: the unit was very clean, the location was perfect, and we would visit again, just not THAT unit. We also think their should be a/c available. We left early, because the temperature was going to be in the 90's. Saturday and Sunday (25th and 26th of June) were extremely warm, and sleeping was difficult.

I was traveling by myself and this cottage was the perfect fit. Close to all the activities but quiet enough when you wanted to get away. Clean, comfortable, and very well equipped for a small space. Front porch with a cold beer watching the sunset was a great way to end the day.

This was our 3rd year staying at this property (‘19, ‘21, ‘22). The rental is a perfect weekend getaway. The cabin has beautiful lake views. All the amenities you could need. And Bristol has so many little quirks to explore. The addition of the two rocking chairs this year was such a welcomed touch. My favorite moments are enjoying coffee or drinks on the covered porch. Can’t wait for next year!

This was a perfect little love shack for a romantic getaway with our kayaks. The view was great, the price was right and we were ok with the tiny size. Only complaint was it was not clean. Apparently the previous person should have cleaned and they did not. Every dish we used had to be washed before use. The table was sticky. And it was not a huge deal but the layout of the place did not match the pictures. We enjoyed our time but would not go back due to the cleanliness..

Convenient location with beautiful lake view! Had everything needed for NH marathon weekend. Upon arrival one of the kitchen table chairs was broken and the floor lamp switch didn’t work but for the two us we got by. Shower could definately been cleaner and kitchen counter as well. Didn’t take away from our stay!

Second time staying , but this time we rented for two weeks instead of just one. We love it! Bungalow is perfect. Clean, well equipped, amazing views of the lake and right across the street from the beautiful beach.

The view and the location is amazing and the cottage is nice but small . We did enjoy the bonding.. The swimming and the property was very nice. I wish there would have been AC(some times needed). It was so peaceful and the views were beautiful every day. I want to thank the Nolans for sharing their cottage with us. Take care:)

The lake was perfect But unfortunately we ended up staying during I haeat wave We stayed in the lake for the day but at night we were completely miserable because of the heat we had 4 fans going and it still did not help my husband had a hard time were he has chf and me with asthma was not a good thing but other than that it was absolutely wonderful we ended up going home A-day early but we did book next because my husband loves it there he went as a child and his daughter got married there so next we hope it will be better .

The cottage was nice but the heat was overwhelming and unbearable. Even with all the fans blowing we could not occupy or sleep in the cabin. We only stayed for two nights and then moved to a hotel. I would recommend getting a small window air conditioner for the cottage. The WIFI did not work during the 2 days we stayed.

My boyfriend and I took our first vacation together and stayed here. We absolutely LOVED it and will definitely be staying again! Our only complaint was there were mini ants on the counter, we think from food left by the previous visitors. Other than that, it was perfect!!

Perfect location!

The place was exactly as described. It was very clean and cozy with beautiful water views and steps to Cummings beach. We spent our days kayaking on the lake and visiting Wellington Park just up the street from the cottage.

It was a very cute rental! The views were very nice especially from the playground and fire pit area.

This was our second stay at this property and it was just as perfect as the first time. Exactly what was needed for a weekend away from the city. Beautiful views, the perfect porch for sitting, access to swim, close to town. Quiet at night. And all the amenities one could need. Can’t wait to return (hopefully next year)

On arrival the area is really nice. You follow some basic instructions and get the key. The cabin itself is adorable and in a beautiful location. Once we got inside we found the trash can in the bathroom full with some pretty gross things. There was trash left around the skirting of the bed and the mattress pad on the bed was so gross we actually just removed it and set aside while we stayed. The door had issues locking and unlocking..it was a bit tricky. There is no AC so we were left with 3 or four fans. One didn’t work at all and two were very small. It definitely was hot during our stay it got in the 90s. I get it’s a cabin and the price was reasonable but we did expect more cleanliness at least. Needless to say we left it better than when we arrived so hope it’s better for the next round of people.

We really liked this adorable bungalow. Such a great location and it had everything you'd need stored well with creative use of space and was not overly crowded. Definitely would recommend to others and would also return to this rental location.

My friend and I found the cabin very comfortable and convenient to restaurants and shops, as well as places to see the local natural area. The view is amazing! The owners were available by phone when we had trouble finding the right street and the cabin was just as described. The fireplace warms you up all on chilly nights and the porch is comfortable to sit and enjoy the view! We would definitely return!

Was supposed to stay in cabin #17, but due to a repair that needed to be done we were unable to. Mark offered to either give a full refund or let us stay in another cabin they have, #11. We decided to stay in cabin #11, and it was older, not as up to date as 17. At first glance it didn’t look the cleanest, but what I thought was dirty was just wear and tear and the inevitable stains that come with it. Location was great.overall we had a good time
