We left 2 days early the power was not work correctly flickering on and of and the yard needed to be landscaped weeds knee High. Highly disappointed.

We loved the neighborhood and quaint older home. Does need some work. The washer and dryer were a real challenge, not working properly.

Just like the first, our family's second time staying at the Big Bear Cabin was a charm. This pet-friendly cabin is perfect for our three dogs. People walked their dogs along the road in front of the cabin, and we saw deer at various times of the day. The cabin is only a 15-minute drive to Manitou Springs, the Manitou Cliff Dwellings, Pike's Peak, Garden of the Gods, Old Colorado City and other places we love to visit. The cabin is clean, attractive and comfortable. We found only two very minor issues in the cabin, and they were resolved promptly by calling the Vacasa help line. The water heater provided enough hot water for four adults to take showers one after another. And we found great movies and series on the streaming channels. We've enjoyed staying at this cabin twice, and we're sure the third time will be a charm as well.

Plenty of room to spread out and relax. Comfy chairs and beds. Nice size bath, laundry and front porch. However, if the standard is to not have A/C and open windows to provide cross breeze/cool down in the evening you need to be able to open the windows! Only 2 windows had screens, the rest had un-openable storm windows. One BR had a small window fan, that didn't work. The windows that DID have screens were impossible to open because of the blinds or furniture that blocked the windows from opening into the cabin. The bathroom was very nice, seeming to have been redone recently. Some of the appliances could use an upgrade. A number of the buttons on the microwave didn't work (like the cancel button) and the washer and dryer have some complicated instructions and missing knobs. There was a screw poking through the screen door that scratched our daughter. I used some duct tape to cover up the sharp point, but the screen was ripped and I didn't feel comfortable using that much tape where it would be easily seen. They did provide 2 large fans, but none of the plugs were close enough to put the fans near the doorway to pull in the cooler air. A couple extension cords would have helped. However that wouldn't completely solve the air flow problem because who would leave their doors open all night?! There are many cute bear accents throughout the cabin and we didn't find ourselves lacking in any kitchen accessories. The shower curtain holders were accented with bears and moose and while cute, would routinely fall off the rod whenever you moved the curtain. A minor annoyance but who wants an added annoyance while on vacation? Our family/children do enough of that already!

Extremely clean, including the kitchen and refrigerator. Amenities include dishwasher, washer and dryer, kitchen supplies, internet, and streaming tv. The bed was comfortable with a foam topper. Several clean towels were provided in the bathroom.

It was a great little get-away for us. The cabin was everything we expected based on the photos we saw prior to booking. The only criticism was with the Microwave. It was operable but the functionality was severely limited. Only a few buttons actually work. To reset it you had to unplug it. Other than that all was good.

This place was an "upgrade" because our other cabin was out of natural gas. We were already on the road with bad phone signal so we agreed to stay here for no extra cost to us. The location is amazing, right off the main strip of Woodland Park. But I would not stay here again. We never felt that "cute cabin" feel. The water pressure is almost non existent. And the mattress was horribly uncomfortable. I have no clue how this cabin was an upgrade over our previously booked cabin.

i loved this place once I was able to get to it. No lights out in the wilderness at all not evena light on out front so very hard too see anything. Other than that one complaint the place was awesome! Great views, good amenities for use!

My 2 boys, 2 dogs and I LOVED our stay at this cabin over the Christmas holiday. It was PERFECTLY cozy, exactly as pictured, and had everything we needed.

We rented this cabin Thanksgiving week, 2021, to visit with relatives. The cabin was neat and clean and had all the amenities we needed...Kitchen was well stocked, including a crockpot. Furniture in the cabin was comfortable. The cabin was in a good location, with just a short drive to downtown Woodland Park and grocery store. We saw deer in the yard several times. The only negative had nothing to do with the cabin itself, but there were several dogs without leashes, who came in the yard and two of them lunged at our dog, who was on a leash. This cabin surely deserves 5 stars...from the moment we rented it, we were kept informed of everything we needed to know, and they sent the entry code the day we got there. My husband and I would definitely recommend the Big Bear Cabin in Woodland Park. George & Linda Sumrall

We really liked this cabin! Cozy and cute, easy to find, and walking distance to the Donut Mill! It is very close to the other cabin onsite, and the person staying in that cabin accidentally came to ours which caused some awkward confusion.

Rented this cabin to visit family in Colorado Springs. Location was perfect. Aloud easy family visits and exploration of area. Love it. We'll be back!!

In addition to being very clean, comfortable and homey, Big Bear Cabin is a very pet-friendly place to stay. We appreciated the streaming channels offered here. We enjoyed walking our dogs and meeting other people walking their dogs along the street. We saw a deer with her fawn roaming through the yard and neighborhood almost every day. We had absolutely no problems and would like to return sometime for a longer vacation. Lots of fun things to see in the area. Some that we saw were Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak, the cliff dwellings and we especially loved shopping and walking around Manitou Springs. Lots of great restaurants too. We had an excellent stay!

The covered front porch was a lovely place to sit and have coffee in the morning or a glass of wine before dinner. The furniture was comfortable and the beds were also very comfortable. I would stay here again and it would be handy if our family with a baby could stay in the house on the same property just behind this house.

Big Bear cabin was great. A little difficult sharing one bathroom with teenagers, but we managed. The only thing is that Colorado had unusually hot temperatures during our stay. We know most places do not have air conditioning, but with temperatures in the 90’s, a fan for the living room would have helped. We had deer in our yard every evening and a cool black squirrel. Our grandchildren have never been to the mountains and they really enjoyed our trip. I’m happy we chose big bear cabin for our stay.
