Nice big rooms, very warm with fire going, nice hot high pressure shower.

The quality of some chattels was poor eg the oven didn't work meaning we had to change our dining plans, the single beds in one room were so uncomfortable I slept on the couch the second night, the ripple control was also an unexpected and unpleasant surprise. The overall interior was quite shabby - we all felt the charge was excessive for what we got. However, there was plenty of crockery, cutlery and glassware and the hot water supply was good. (I inadvertently broke the coffee plunger but replaced it with the same model) As I indicated in the star section all communications were fine and the location was great I guess it was adequate but this was a special weekend for our family and the quality of the interior was disappointing - I felt as if I was staying in a tourist cabin at a motor camp. Some fresh paint would make a huge difference

Location is great, the property itself is nice and warm just needs to be updated a bit; the house is quite old and it's starting to show on the ceilings and walls.

Property was perfect for our group of 12 people. Well set out house with panel heaters and Towel rails in each bedroom and a wood fire place in the lounge. Also has good drying room for snow boarding gear. Highly recommend this property. Thanks heaps

Great house and well set up for 3-4 families. Very warm, great drying room and awesome gas hot water. An ideal base for a winter holiday.

The house was clean, very cosy, really good kitchen facilities, clean bedding, comfortable beds. The drying room ideal. Perfect for 2 families. We liked the location, kids liked having sheep in the back paddock. Would certainly stay again if visiting Ohakune and recommend to others.
