This was the perfect house to gather with our family to start the holiday season! I was so excited to see the house was decorated for Christmas when we arrived! We were close enough to town for the festivities but far enough away that it was quiet when we wanted to relax and watch a Christmas movie or two. The house had everything we needed to be comfortable for the weekend. Anita was super nice and got back to me right away when I had a question. Thank you for an enjoyable stay Anita and Ken!

Lovely, well appointed house, super comfortable furniture, kitchen well stocked. The living room is perfect for hanging out with family. When we had a question about a kitchen appliance, the owners responded immediately. We look forward to staying there next year.

This was our first time staying in Cape May for a week in a rental house. We chose this house for its bedroom configurations (3 bedrooms each with a queen size bed) and location. The neighborhood was quiet and well kept. Parking was ample. We could walk to the beach and mall too if we wanted. What we liked most about the house was the large comfortable livingroom where we gathered to play games and hang out, the large kitchen table where we shared a few meals, and the outdoor shower which some of us enjoyed using exclusively. The beach passes and beach chairs provided with the house were very much appreciated. The kitchen was well stocked with all of the amenities needed. There was a good size back yard where we would have set up badminton, and a screened in porch that we would have taken advantage of had the weather been cooler. That being said, the air-conditioning worked well throughout the house. Instructions for entry and garbage/recycling were clear. We were very pleased with this rental. It was perfect for our family vacation.

This is now our 4th time in Cape May and last year we were told that our rental was sold:( We were disappointed BUT found this gem! We had 3 kids (under 8) and 4 adults and it was perfect. We rented a golf cart and drove to the beach (could have walked), walked to and from town multiple times, the playground at the school (there is one closer) etc. The house had most everything we needed, including lots of charm. We are excited to plan our 5th trip!

We had a wonderful time at this property. It was clean and had plenty of space for 7 of us. Outdoor screened porch was a nice addition especially on the rainy days. Kitchen and dining area were spacious. Large table for family games. Outdoor shower was very useful! LOVED the long wrap around/sectional couch which was different than on the listing…fit many more of us as we spent a lot of time reading. Walk to beach was about a ten minute walk (maybe less) - very easy with teens/adults. The owner, Anita, was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend this property and hope to visit again soon!

This is our second year staying at this home and it truly has been so wonderful for our family when we visit Cape May. The location is fantastic, plenty of parking, close to the beaches and shopping, yet still quiet and a tad more removed from all the major hustle. Best of both worlds. It’s so affordable! Renting homes in Cape May especially for our size group of 6 adults and 3 kids is hard and the price for this rental was amazing. The house itself is clean, roomy, and has all the things you could need in the kitchen. We loved the new sectional couch added this year and we absolutely adored the screened in porch. We finished three different large puzzles out there with the kids at the table and it was the perfect space! The outdoor shower has warm water which was wonderful for cleaning off the kids (and adults) post beach! We would have loved to come back again to this location for next summer but sadly need to rent a bigger place to accommodate our growing family, but we recommend this home to anyone looking for a house that sleeps 8 comfortably! You won’t regret it!

This property is a great size and was comfortable for our 6 guests. The owners were wonderful to work with and very quick to respond. The home is centrally located, making it easy to run up to the beach or into town. We very much enjoyed our stay!

House is dated, but owners put in a lot of personal touches to make it homey. Fully stocked kitchen, backyard an asset if you have young ones. Beds were comfortable, house was very clean!!! Location is great, walked to parks and the centre square. Excellent communication with the hosts.Plenty of room to store suitcases and food, etc. We would recommend this property.

Our family of 6 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your beach house. It came with all amenities - fully stocked kitchen, very comfortable beds, outdoor shower, washer/dryer, WI-FI, 8 beach badges, etc. We spent a lot of time on the screened in porch. The house is within walking distance to the beach and shopping. If you’re lugging a lot of beach gear, you might be better off driving and parking closer. Checking in and out was a breeze. Instructions were very clear. TV only has basic cable. No ESPN, HGTV, FoxNews, CNN, etc. and no premium channels. House has beach chairs but they a little beat up. I would suggest bringing a few of you own. Overall a very pleasant stay.

The house is not far (about a half mile walk) from the central area of Cape May (near Victorian homes and Washington Street mall area) and it is also not too far from the beach (7 blocks). Quiet neighborhood and easy communication with owners

We felt safe & comfortable at this property. Well stocked & convenient to things to do, but removed enough to feel private. Technology worked well (11 yr. Old was able to use streaming & hook up his Switch). Plenty of room to eat inside and on porch. Pack n Play worked best in the largest back bedroom but in the closet area, which allowed users to get around in the room. We love an outdoor shower so used it for most of our bathing needs, but the tub was perfect for the 15 month old. We would rent again the next time we want to visit Cape May.

We had a lovely week in Cape May at this home! The Harvey’s were excellent hosts and were always very prompt on communication. The place was the perfect size for our family. We especially loved the great location, the screened in porch, the large dining table and spacious kitchen, and having central AC. We enjoyed our trip so much we have already scheduled our trip to stay here again next year!

We had a very enjoyable visit to Cape May. The house was just as the pictures and description described it. It was an older home but very clean and well taken care of. All of the furnishings were very comfortable and the kitchen was extremely well stocked for eating in. The neighborhood is very well manicured and the neighbors were very friendly and quiet. Very easy for older children and adults to walk to the beach and to all the shops from the house. We would most definitely stay in this rental again. Our stay was wonderful. The home was perfectly located it was close to everything. The kitchen was completely stocked with dishes and plates, knives and forks,and pots and pans. The beds were comfortable and the hot water plentiful. We had a delightful stay and would happily return!
