I've rented this home 3 times, and every time I do, I'm equally impressed with how special it is. The space is a perfect mix of desert + modern; located on the outskirts of the town, its view from the back patio is completely unobstructed into the desert for miles. Everything is comfortable and clean, and the place evokes a perfect desert atmosphere. Our dealings with the property manager were outstanding. The best surprise occurred on our last trip, when, sitting on the back patio at night, we caught the Marfa Lights! (Trust, I didn't believe they were real until I saw them myself...) This house truly is a gem.

Beautiful house on a great piece of property in west Texas. Perfect place to relax and enjoy the weekend. Communication with the owner was great, checkin process really easy and the property was in great shape.
Highly recommend this house and will absolutely try to book again next time out this way

Despite the hot temps, Big Sky Marfa helped us find the relief we needed. Great House with a great floorplan. My wife and i enjoyed the large master and the kids enjoyed the separate rooms. The Sunset is indescribable!! There is no neighboring properties to block the west Texas sunset... Enjoy the table out in the yard!!

The home and grounds are lovely, like the photos but larger in person. The skies are incredible to watch from the back deck and living room, from dawn til dusk. "Big Sky" is an apt name!

We went to Marfa with our children and absolutely loved the home. It backs up to large open land perfect for watching sunsets, walks and stargazing. The home is artfully decorated and welcoming with a large open kitchen perfect for cooking. Would recommend to anyone visiting Marfa.

We had a wonderful and relaxing time staying at this house. It was spacious, clean and well supplied. The backyard views are fabulous. Beautiful dark skies full of stars at night.

On the edge of town, away from the lights, with an excellent view of the open prairie. Plenty of space for kitchen work and meals, and comfortable and warm bedrooms. We sould definitely book again for a longer-term stay for using as an adventuring home base and roaming around the Davis Mountains / Big Bend.

This is our second stay at Big Sky House and we love it! The views are beautiful and the house is so well decorated and comfortable. I should note that the master bedroom and bath are very spacious and the other two bedrooms are small and share a hallway bath. Otherwise, everything is perfect!

Beautiful house
This was a perfect place for spending some time with family and enjoying the Marfa area. We had plenty of space, a fantastic kitchen for cooking, great place to watch the sunsets. It was also nice to have a fenced yard for our dog. The house was clean comfortable and beautiful.

Beautiful and comfortable West Texas base
Big Sky is a gem of a house. It is beautifully decorated but in a practical way that makes it so livable. The location allowed for easy exploration of the surrounding area - Marfa, Alpine, Balmorhea, Fort Davis, and Big Bend. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

Well appointed home in a great setting. Plenty of space and just very conducive to relaxing on the patio. A great retreat after a day of exploring, and easy access to Big Bend and Fort Davis. The owner/property manager was responsive and helpful!

Peaceful desert hideaway
What a beautiful way to enjoy Marfa. The star gazing is fantastic on the back porch. The rooms were so comfortable. The kitchen was stellar. Beautiful living space and gorgeous art. We loved our stay!

The yard is large and fenced in, and both front and back porches are immaculate. Pictures really don’t do this place justice! We will be back and hopefully with a few more guests to enjoy this place. Didn’t need to contact the owner much as everything is easy to navigate and house is well equipped.

We've stayed in Marfa a few times now and this was absolutely our favorite house. Big, spacious, incredibly comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The kitchen is a dream. And sitting in the backyard and watching the sunset every night was a real highlight. We can't wait to come back!
