Beautiful location! Apartment is cute - small for 4 adults if you need room. Air conditioning is only in main room - so loft was warm needed fans at night in mid June heat. Shower is in loft but toilet is downstairs which was a bit inconvenient. Overall, no complaints until we left and got charges from the owner saying we left the property unclean . we have never ever left a rental property unclean and have nothing but 5 stars from all our rentals. We even leave tips for housekeeping despite the cleaning feed VRBO charges. Our son fell on the stone stairs at the apartment. as there is no elevator to go up and down from the third-floor. There must’ve been blood left on the comforter and sheets, where he slept from his wound, which we did not know about, if the owner had contacted us and asked what happened, we could’ve had a dialogue about it. Instead, she sent the charges and acted as if we purposely stained her linens. We purchased an overpriced bottle of wine from her and did all of our dishes and made sure the towels and what not were picked up. There was no broom or cleaning supplies for us to even use to clean up if it was needed which it wasn’t. Unfortunately that correspondence would make us not recommend this location.

Cathy’s apartment was clean, comfortable and well-equipped with everything we needed for a great stay. The bedrooms were cozy, the beds were comfortable and the linens were fresh and clean. The living room was spacious and had a nice, homely touch to it. The location of the apartment was also great, with plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants within walking distance. Overall, I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a convenient place to stay in Bordeaux.

A great location to explore the heart of Bordeaux. Cathy was super helpful in pre-arrival details and helped out with providing some excellent restaurant recommendations. As a family of four we loved our time.

I can't say enough good things about how well kept the property was or the great communication with Cathy. The location is perfect and the building is charming. The flat is comfortable and well supplied with everything you will need for a happy stay. I will recommend the flat to my friends and definitely will book it again when we go back to Bordeaux.

The apartment is in an unbeatable location. The building is old but the apartment is all upgraded, providing a nice contrast. Cathy was a great host! Would definitely recommend

Tout est fourni à votre arrivée pour simplement poser ses valises et profiter du centre de bordeaux ! Ce fut un réel plaisir de vivre ces quelques jours dans ce magnifique environnement.

We had a great stay and the apartment was very nice, clean and well provisioned. Our host was communicative and helpful. That said, anyone planning to stay should not plan on driving in unless they already know Bordeaux....it was very challenging. We ultimately ended up parking in a large garage and walking to plan the driving route there to drop our bags. GPS was not helpful given the complex skein of pedestrian zones and dedicated public transit lines. Also once there, the three storey climb is quite challenging on old stone steps. Unfortunately, we were in the middle of a month long trip so carrying more than carry-ons and it was a bit hair raising even going down. However these are the built conditions and, if you are aware of them and they don’t pose an issue for you, you will almost certainly enjoy staying at this apartment. You could not be better positioned for enjoying the city. I would strongly recommend it to those who travel light and arrive using Bordeaux’s excellent public transportation system.

With a wine bar and bistros directly below, the conversations of the patrons drifted upwards through the windows, giving us a sense of mingling with the locals. The space was clean and modern, with all of the amenities to live away from home amenable. Would recommend.

An amazing place to stay. 2 large beds , 1 on the main floor and 1 in the loft. The whole place looks like it has recently been updated. All new appliances and shower (low clearance for someone who is 6 foot tall). The location is excellent. Highly recommend.

We loved the property, and Bordeaux in general. We used Rustic Vines for a wine tour, which was around the corner and amazing. One note...the only toilet is in a closet, and shower/sink is in the loft.

Super cute apartment. Has all that you need for a family of 4. Right in the center of Bordeaux, but still a quiet street.

Exactly where you want to be! Cathy was a perfect host and her property met every expectation. So many fine restaurants within a three block radius it is hard to believe. All the major sites within an easy walk or, if not, a short tram hop away.

Cathy takes wonderful care of the apartment. Very comfortable. Fully outfitted. Great location. Highly recommend. Can be a tad noisy early evening as restaurants very close by.

The apartment is great and makes use of all the available space. We are a family of 4 with two little ones and we were able to make the space work for us. We enjoyed being in the middle of Bordeaux with many restaurants and shopping nearby. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this apartment.

This is a beautiful apartment that has all of the amenities! Sparkling clean, comfy beds and living spaces. Nice amenities include travel guides and recommendations, coffee, milk, tea and wine($). The neighborhood was perfect. Quiet at night, but full of life during the day with cafe at end of street, great shopping and lots of bistros. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to anyone. Please note it's a 3 story walk up, and the only toilet is on the first floor with the master bedroom on the 2nd. Overall, loved this space!
