The location was great, walking distance to the ocean and a great surf spot. The house was clean and easy to check into and out of. Very kind and communicative host.

The place was clean, comfortable and very well located. We had everything we needed. Eileen was absolutely lovely, extremely helpful and communicative. My complaint is about the area, not the accommodations. None of the reviews mentioned that the short walk to the beach is actually down an extremely steep hill. All roads leading to the beach look like San Francisco - was not expecting that. Just beware if you have any mobility issues. Parking is terrible everywhere so everyone walks. If I were younger and had better ankles, it would have been better.

This is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for a short walk to the beach. It was spacious and comfortable. If you are up for walking, it is only a mile and a half from the Manhattan Beach Pier and downtown. Close to lots of restaurants and yet quiet and chill. Our host, Eileen, was amazing and was on top of all communication. Highly recommended and would book again.

We enjoyed our stay by the beach, being able to walk to the beach and restaurants/shops each day. We had a little issue during our stay, but the host was very responsive and got it addressed within a couple hours. We would gladly stay there again sometime.

This is a lovely beach cottage. Two blocks from a gorgeous beach and close to some really good restaurants. The owner was very easy to get a hold of and very accommodating.

Great house for easy beach access.
This property was a perfect location to the beach and about a 25 minute walk to the heart of all the restaurants, galleries, stores, etc. in Manhattan Beach. The property manager was very accommodating and and always available to answer any w. I highly recommend this property and would stay there again in the future.

Conveniently located cottage
This is a simple cottage in a great location - easy walk to the beach, cafes and restaurants. Parking is a little tight, so large cars/SUVs might not fit. The owner, Eileen, is very easy to communicate with.

Needs a little work
The upstairs bedroom and kitchen are nice but The kitchen area and living room need new paint, The furniture should be replaced in the living room and the floors upstairs and downstairs are very dirty. Also the back barbecue deck area is a mess with filthy lounge chairs and debris everywhere. Had trouble with the downstairs shower and tub getting hot water and the upstairs lock on the door doesn’t open with the key. The good thing is the short walk to the ocean and accepting pets, which is very important to me

Great location
This house was 1.5 blocks from the beach in the El Porto district of Manhattan Beach, a very nice neighborhood. It was in the 70s while inland LA was sizzling hot. A great bike path and walking path run along the beach. The two floor arrangement meant we got one floor while our 16 year old granddaughter got the other one. Short walk to good restaurants. Well equipped kitchen. Did have a few maintenance problems but they were attended to quickly.

Great place and great communication
We enjoyed the property and its location to the beach and restaurants. There was one hiccup with a plumbing issue; however, due to a swift response from property manager/owner, the issue was rectified almost immediately and we were compensated for the inconvenience. Because we really loved this beautiful place, the layout, and proximity to the beach/amenities and the customer service was absolutely awesome, we would definitely stay again!!

2 bedrooms and a pull out sofa fit our 6 adults . 1 shower and 1 bathtub .

This beach home is an absolute dream a two story oasis walking distance from the waves. It’s less than a mile from great restaurants and boutiques. The neighborhood is welcoming and the host was the absolute best ! Will definitely book again and again !

Great little place by the beach
We stayed at Eileen’s place for a few days after Christmas. We had a wonderful time. We loved the walk ability to the beach and it was nicely decorated. There was only one drawback- the parking. It is very difficult to park in front of the property bc the parking space is so small. If you have a small car then this shouldn’t be a problem but a larger car like an suv or minivan make it very difficult. It was so hard to park I didn’t want to take my car out of the spot so just stayed around the house.

Not well kept
Sheets, pillow cases, comforters, dishes, floors, etc were very dirty when we arrived. A weird smell comes from the exhaust fan in one of the bathrooms and the shower curtain was gross. Furniture needs to be upgraded as well as it is stained and a bit gross to sit on. The place has so much potential to be nice. Can’t beat the location also.

Cute North Manhattan Beach House
This cute little beach house is perfectly located in North Manhattan Beach. Just a few minutes walk to some of the top restaurants in the South Bay. And of course a block and a half to a most gorgeous stretch of Beach. The Host is incredibly friendly and immediately responsive. Definitely a great place to stay!

Lovely hone with everything you could need for a beach getaway. Great setup with 2 separate floors 1 for the kids and the 1 for the adults. Plenty to do within walking distance-beach-shops-restaurants. We will be back!

Excellent house and location
Very clean and relaxing home walking distance to beach ( 3 minutes), and restaurants my wife and I had a wonderful time in this house. had all the comforts of home . Grand kids enjoyed visiting us they had a wonderful time. and we definitely RECOMMEND staying here and we will be returning again. good for two families for it is very spacious with the upstairs and downstairs . Thank you again for letting us stay in your home and making our vacation fantastic !!!

Great beach location
This is a nice property a 5 minute walk to the beach. The only downside is parking. We had 2 cars, 1 a van and that was difficult to squeeze in. Other than that, lovely.

Wonderful beach house!
What a wonderful house for our weekend girls trip! Four of us gathered for a getaway and thoroughly enjoyed the easy proximity to beach and town. The house itself is perfectly located a block from the beach and has a front porch that affords a view over the water. Inside had more than enough space for the four of us with two full bathrooms and a great kitchen. We just cabbed in and out of town which meant we parked our cars and never moved them until we left. The hostess is incredibly responsive and kind. We hope to make repeat appearances at this property!

The house has so many nice patios and very lovely bedrooms with fabulous comfy beds and pillows I am very fussy HAHA . The big laundry was so useful Having the upstairs and downstairs was really good for us ..when kids came to visit ..We took walks to the beach and that was so nice , so close !
You had everything we needed and more . I will definitely recommend this to my clients ,friends and will visit again myself .

Couldn't Be Any More Perfect.
From the moment we stepped onto the street and into the house to the moment we left it, this place was pure perfection beginning to end. The home was clean and very beautiful; the beds comfortable, the peaceful front porch with views and sounds of the ocean. Everything is in walking distance. The hosts were incredibly gracious and we've already made plans to come back very soon. Those in our group that had a first-time rental vacation experience have been spoiled.

Perfect Getaway!
The place was perfect for me, my husband and 2 kids. Great location with restaurants and shops walking distance and the beach 1/2 block away, we never needed to get in the car. When we did want to go a bit further we jumped on our bikes ( bring your bikes if you are able) and went down to Hermosa Beach pier. The house it's self if newly remodeled and is perfect for all tastes. Upstairs is airy and quiet with a front or back patio to enjoy. The master bedroom has the most comfortable bed i have slept on in a long time. Making me want to purchase a new mattress myself:) And to hear the waves crashing at night was just so relaxing and peaceful. Downstairs was a great place for the kids to be loud and play or watch tv. If you get a chance go to a Mexican restaurant that is just a few blocks away called Pancho's on Friday Nights it has the Best Band, a must see. I will definitely be going back for a girls weekend away with my friends.

Very comfortable with all the mod cons you will need
We had 5 adults staying and there was plenty room for us all
Having just be newly re-modelled, it is fresh and clean with a real beach house feel about it
and only a stones throw away from beautiful Manhattan beach... you cant go wrong!
Terrace to front & rear, you will always get the sun !
With beach chairs, towels and even a cool bag at our disposal we were
all set!
The house is only minutes walk from many shops bars & restaurants along
Highland Ave.
Free Wi-Fi is also provided in the house!
We will definitely go back to this house on Seaview St !!
