The location was good

I picked this hotel because it had good reviews but this place is super outdated. A lot of things need replacing. Popcorn ceilings still. Bathrooms were gross. We even took the stairs because the elevator weren’t working.

Breakfast was great, one of the best free hotel bfasts I’ve had. Quiet, good beds, nice & responsive staff.

The pool is freezing. The manager replied they don’t heat the indoor pool, but I’ve never seen one that wasn’t heated. 🤷🏻‍♀️ The hot tub was too hot, & he replied that he couldn’t change it. Well, someone at the front desk did, but they put it down to 85 degrees. 🤣 Guys, if someone complains, you put it down a couple degrees, maybe 5, not 20, lol. But being that hot is dangerous for kids/elderly.

Very thin walls, had hard time sleeping because of how noisy people upstairs were all night

I travel a lot. I can not believe this is a Holiday inn. The front desk people were very nice once they saw the problem. First because it was football weekend in College Station, Tx it was in demand. you have to have two nights not one and the charge was $500 a night. This I reluctantly accepted to be with my Daughter and go to my first game there. They had a small buffet breakfast in the morning. I was informed they would have to charge me. Then I come to find out they ran out of coffee. The woman running the buffet didn’t care about my complaint or that of many others as I could hear in the room. I did say something at the front desk and the breakfast charge I later learned was taken off. That night on my return I realized I needed a toilet plunger. I tried to call the front desk from the room phone and the front desk would not pick and it would run in a loop. I used my cell phone to call and couldn’t get a response from the hotel. Same unanswered loop. I got dressed and went downstairs and spoke with gentleman there and he was surprised that the phones were not working. I told him my problem and room number and he quickly arrived with a plunger. I believe a hotel like this should not have these problems the way they presented themselves. A Nice Holiday Inn.

The bed was awesome and space great. The carpet was coming loose from the wall which could use some attention..

The water in the jacuzzi tub was cool even though it was coming only out of the hot facet. I reported it the next morning and it was promptly fixed but one night if paying for such a premium and it couldn't be used was such a disappointment.
