This cozy house was the perfect house for our family vacation. We have two little ones and wanted to be close to the beach. The location is perfect minutes from the beach and bay as well. The house even had a wagon and beach chairs that were super convenient for our time at the beach. The owner, Aaron, was super responsive. The house had everything we needed and even had a pack in play for our baby to sleep in. Check in and out was very easy. We recommend this house and would book in again for another beach vacation.

Great location. Rental was like advertised. Communication good with Aaron. Outdoor furniture cushions in rough shape and should be replaced. Better instructions on living room t.v. remote would have been helpful and some additional kitchen stock such as parchment paper, cooking oil, etc. Otherwise, really enjoyed having washer and dryer, beach toys (left volleyball for future guests to use and enjoy).

This cozy beach house provided everything our family needed for a memorable stay. The beach was very close and had plenty of beach toys, chairs, and even a wagon available. The fire pit was easy to use and we spent every evening and many mornings warming up on the patio. The outdoor shower was a huge plus, especially for our 4 year old…he loved it. We had the best time and loved everything about the house and location! We hope to return.

This is a lovely house in an amazing location on mission beach. There are two markets and 4 yummy food shops within 2 min walking distance. It was a quiet location and the house was very tidy and had AC! It was stocked with things we needed to make a quick breakfast before we headed off to the beach. The beach wagon, toys and boards were a huge +. Aaron had great communication and we are considering a trip back just to stay there again!

This was perfect for our family of 8. Loved that the beach was only a few minutes walk. Would absolutely love to stay again.

First, the location was perfect! My granddaughter really enjoyed walking to the bay and finding all the little live sea creatures and watching the seal play. The ocean was so close that it made going back and forth as needed very easy (thanks for the beach wagon and everything we could possibly need for a day on the beach!). We ate our dinners outdoors everyday (new table and chairs). The pics show living room seating for four-there are two more seats that are on the kitchen side of the living room and most of our time was spent outside. Everything has been said before…well stocked kitchen, clean, we didn’t need to purchase anything for the home. It came with all the supplies, including; trash bags, tp, paper towels, dish washer tablets, dish soap, and even shampoo, body wash, everything. TV was equipped with Netflix and although we carried out fire stick with us it wasn’t needed. Outside shower was such a bonus. All the neighbors were great-families like ours. Airplanes do go over during the daytime but seemed to have quit at night. It really isn’t a problem-I’m sensitive to noise and it didn’t bother me. If you have a minivan, you will want to use the first bay that you come to. It gives you room to swing it in without having a wall in the way. You will need to go slow and careful but it is very doable. I’m not use to having to park in tight spaces and I was in and out of there a lot. I did get the minivan in the other bay- but only once! Great stay! Thank you!!!

Beds are comfy, quiet neighbors, great location.

We loved our stay. Super close walk to the beach just down the alley way. The beds are comfortable and our kids loved the bunk bed room. The location was quiet and great for sleeping. The kitchen and the bbq were perfect. The house is showing some signs of wear and needs a paint job. The outside patio furniture is so worn out that the table literally crumbled big chunks of rust all over our legs when we sat to eat. We didn’t use the fire pit because the couch had holes in it and the cushions were badly worn. However I will give credit that the management company said it would be replaced. The house was generally clean but could have been cleaner. The master shower had a hair ball on the floor and the walls in the bunk bed room needed wiping down. The management company was amazing and responded quickly and did say that they could send housekeeping back but we decided to take care of it quickly ourselves. I will note that none of these things will stop me from booking next summer as the location is perfect to the bay. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Bright, clean, well-stocked house in a quiet section with access to the bay and beach only a block or two away. Lots of space to work and play — and an amazing fire pit for enjoying the weather from dawn until late at night. Will definitely be coming back!

Perfect distance to all the beach activities! House is perfect size for a family or group of friends!

This house gave us exactly what we were looking for, convenient to downtown and close to the beach and bay. Plenty of food and entertainment in walking distance or a short drive. The house was clean and comfortable for 6 of us. The garage is a tight fit and turn but worked for our rented minivan. Bigger cars are not going to make it.

We absolutely loved staying in this home! The house was perfect for our family of 4, plus grandparents. The home was clean and well stocked and furnished. The two sets of bunk beds were so nice because each kid was able to sleep on top. The beds were comfortable and linens clean. It was nice having 2 full and 1 half bath when everyone was getting ready. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. Having a coffe pot and Keurig was very nice. Plenty of pots, pans, dishes, utensils and even baking sheets. The BBQ was also well used. The outdoor seating area was perfect, when the weather cooperated. The firepit was great to sit around and have coffee in the morning or a drink in the evening. The 2 car garage was a must as parking is VERY limited in the area. There were plenty of boogie boards, sand toys and chairs for use at the beach. It was also nice to have the washer and dryer there in the garage too. We rented an Expedition which fit in the gargage. Location was amazing! The bay was a quick 1 minute walk one way, and the ocean was a quick 3 minute walk the other way. We spent most of our time at the bay as it wasnt nearly as crowded. The kids collected seashells and sand dollars and played in the sand. Belmont Park was a 5 minute walk across the street, which we did almost every day. So many other San Diego attractions are very close by. We shopped mostly at Vons, which was really close. We loved our time here! Thank you!

We spent the long holiday weekend and couldn’t be happier. The host, Aaron was very attentive. Check in (and out) was a breeze on a cool screen in the home. Once we parked our two vehicles in the spacious two-car garage we never had to remove them! We were able to walk to Belmont Park where we shopped and ate lunch (you have to do the Escape Room), the beach and bay, a little market for bare necessities and three nice take-out restaurants. We were so close, our pizza was still hot when we got it home! Will definitely be back!

Great place to stay if you want a quiet comfortable stay. Aaron leaves plenty of information about the area and is very responsive to all questions. Love sitting outside by the firepit. Short walk to restaurant, coffee bar, only area store, beach and bay. Great garage so parking not an issue. Can't wait to return.

My family of 4 and my Mother stayed here for Christmas. The location was incredible, process was easy and it immediately felt like home to us. We look forward to booking with Vacations by Aaron again.

The property is a great location, bay on block away, beach 2 blocks the other! The garage parking was great! We were so close to everything we wanted to do, Seaworld and Torrey Pines. Hoping we have the opportunity to stay again!

My daughter is disabled so we needed a clean place all on one floor. This place delivered! It was clean and comfortable for our family and the host was very responsive to our questions. The proximity to the beach and restaurants was awesome. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely mini vacation in San Diego and it all started with a wonderful place to stay. “The Beautiful Beach Bungalow” was exactly that ! First and foremost we were struck by the cleanliness of the home, it is well kept and true to the photos. There were 6 adults in our group and we all slept very comfortably.. Having a 3rd bathroom was a wonderful addition. We loved the outdoor shower with warm water so that we could wash off the sand! The location of the home is prime! We had almost immediate access to both the bay and the ocean, and we were just a stroll down the beach from all the fun at Mission Beach. Having a garage and not having to search for parking was also a very big plus. The house is full of thoughtful homey additions and the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you would need for family meals. Finally, the owner was very accessible and consistently provided helpful information. We really loved our stay and we will definitely be returning to the “Beautiful Beach Bungalow”!

We took a little spur of the moment vacation with our first responder family! It was fantastic. This location is super quiet and super close to the bay. Beds were very comfy! This house had it all. Definitely will be coming back! We even decided to extend our stay by one day and Aaron helped us right away just by emailing! Very fast response!

Great Bay / Beach location close to all activities. Bungalow was very nice and well maintained. Did have more airline noise that was not expected but got use to it

My family love the amenities and modern style of this home. It is in a calm neighborhood and cis walking distance to attractions as well as both the bay and beach! Definitely visiting again next year.

The place inside is really nice. Modern and clean. The location is good but maybe it is just me but not being familiar with the area the pictures gave me the impression that the front area would be looking out to the bay--that you were steps away from the sand. This is actually an alley way with other houses having front porches like this facing each other. Not that it wasn't nice but just not what I thought it was going to be. This house is a block and a half from the cove side beach. Also, probably the most disappointing thing is that there were a lot of flies outside in our porch during the day so we never enjoyed just hanging out. The flies did go away at dark and so we took advantage of the fire pit making s'mores and having a drink then. The flies definitely took away from what I was hoping and expecting to being able to do. Before going back I would make sure that the fly issue is not longer a problem.

Our family stayed here for 5 days and loved it. The house was very clean and host was wonderful to work with. We loved the fact that it was located in a quiet area yet so close to everything, There was a market very close that had everything we needed. The porch was perfect for cooking out and relaxing. Would definitely recommend!

The best part about this rental, for me at least, was accessibility. It was very challenging trying to find a last minute property that could accommodate my 91 year old grandma (single story, walk in shower, little to no steps) but this place literally hit everything I needed and then some. The close proximity to the bay was perfect for us to take grandma out for walks and just sit and relax. The HUGE garage parking was great for us to get her in and out of the car to drive her to the beach. I was worried I wouldn't have good enough cooking supplies but everything literally looked like it had been just bought. We've been to places where pots/pans/utensils are noticeably used which makes cooking undesirable but our stay here was literally a home away from home. We also have a 1 year old who is sensitive to noise and though this house is within the airport's flight path, we didn't have any issues with putting her to bed. The neighborhood is clean and quiet which was perfect for a relaxing vacation. We will definitely be booking this rental again because everything (location, accessibility, parking, cleanliness, etc) was perfect.

This cottage was perfect for a beach vacation. Close proximity to the bay and the ocean, as well as the Belmont park area. Well stocked with everything you need to feel at home- away from home! Beds were comfortable. Beach equipment was plentiful. Overall a great place to stay in Mission Beach. Would not hesitate to stay here again.
