Beautiful location right on the water. We enjoyed the lake tremendously. The kitchen has not been updated but we didn’t cook there so it didn’t bother us. Lots of space to spread out and feel comfortable. We sat on the deck and in the room facing the water for all of our relaxation - felt great.

The beach behind the house is beautiful and lovely. The house has big windows looking out and plenty of places to sit to enjoy it. The kitchen has not been updated, but we never cooked there so that didn’t bother us. Plenty of space and everything we needed. Thumbs up!

This is a lot of money for a house that badly needs an exterior power washing, replacement of WW II era pots/pans/knives/forks, a good cleaning of the kitchen that we left cleaner that when we came, and has a musty smell on first floor. Looks newer in the photos than reality. You are on the leeward side of the lake so the lake water is muddy and beach littered with drift wood.

This place was perfect for our family! The location was fantastic. The views from the decks, sunroom, living room, primary bedroom, and dining room were gorgeous. The house has everything you need. It is very comfortable and practical. It is inviting and full of natural light. If you have kids, this is the place for you. Also, the kitchen is great, it has all the necessities. I would absolutely stay here again.

Loved the location and outdoor space. The decks and beach access were incredible. However, the house could use some updating and love out back in. Some of the rooms/bathrooms are updated but the vast majority needs some love put back into it. There was only one small pager overviewing the property which I thought was odd in comparison to other rental properties that provide a book detailing the property and surrounding area. There were a lot of dead bugs around windows and the place just needed a bit more elbow grease in it. Kitchen cabinets were sticking/gooey and the coffee pot was broken on arrive which was not ideal for all of our coffee drinkers. The posting indicated a fire pit on property, however the one pager indicated no fires on the beach and there was no an alternative option which was disappointing considering the listing. At arrival, there was a handyman still fixing the property (hole in the wall from last occupants) presented an awkward exchange. We received notification from the property manager that it was ready, however he was taken off guard clearly and noted he didn’t think we were arriving until the following day. The man was very nice, but was not a good way to start off the experience.
Location was great again and we loved the outdoor space but overall felt underwhelmed we the details and discrepancies.

When we inquired about the gas stove in the living room someone was suppose to check it out on Saturday and no one ever contacted us or came to fix it.

Our family group of 8 had a great time here over the holidays. Extremely clean and well set up, including the kitchen, which we used to make meals. Nice big living area. Wish the dining room table were big enough to easily seat all 8 of us, but we made it work. A beautiful well supplied house!

The house was very clean and roomy for 6 of us. It's in a great location with beautiful views. The only issue was that both screen doors were damaged when we arrived and could not be used.

The house is spacious, comfortable and clean. The location is very nice, with good views of the lake and mountains. It is conveniently located within easy driving distance from Burlington.

Great location, fabulous view, clean big house. House could be spectacular but owners have not spent any time or money on appointments. 80s vintage sparse furnishings, one tv!, sleeping for 8 dining for 6, no towel bars, all of the pots and pans should be trashed. Have rented through VRBO many times and this was our most disappointing experience.

Vacasa App made it easy to find and book this great house and even use a credit. This clean house has an nice upper and lower deck which lead right down to a sandy beach. The water is shallow but clean and not too cold. The only issue was that there were no functional bikes like the pictures showed - which was a shame as it’s so close to the bike causeway.

We went up to Vermont for the foliage, and the colors were spectacular!
The view from the house was beautiful.
Upon arrival I had to sweep the kitchen floor, and clean off the kitchen chairs of dust and crumbs.
Also, upon arrival all bath and hand towels were very damp, and had to throw them in the dryer. The housekeeper should have noticed this when she was folding them.
Rugs needed a vacuuming and a good cleaning.
The extra bedrooms did not have bureaus, guests had to live out of their suitcases.
Sliding screens to the downstairs deck were all torn.
Windows were filthy, caked on dirt and dead bugs. Not pleasant to look at.
Downstairs bathroom did not lock, and had poor lighting.
Both bathrooms need a hook outside of shower to hang towel/bathrobe while showering.
Some of these things are small and inexpensive fixes.
All of these added up did not make for a pleasant stay.
Would not recommend staying here.

House was very spacious and in a great location, though waterfront was fairly dirty and cluttered. House has been updated from photos posted, but no longer has a jetted tub, which was a disappointment to our group given that this was one of the primary reasons we booked the property and likely would not have stayed had we known. Listing should be updated so as to not mislead future guests.

Great place for retired Boomers
This property has by far been our best VRBO rental ever. The entire home is beautiful, neat and very clean. It also had all of the amenities one might need. The kitchen had about every utensil or cookware you might want or need. It was like being in our own home. The owner checked in with us several times to make sure we had everything we needed. If you are 60+ and like traditional decor plus a nice quiet location, this is the place to stay. On a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the best, this was a 12.

House was very spacious, beautiful view wish it has a firepit . The grill needs to be updated never got supper hot. Wish we could have gotten in earlier and check out later like hotels give you. I would rent this house again.

Great Location
This house has spectacular views of the lake. Waking up in the morning and seeing the lake through the windows never got old. Close to Burlington if you're looking for good places to eat & drink as well.

Wonderful stay
This place is beautiful. We stayed in April, and even though it was chilly, it was gorgeous. We loved sitting out on the deck with coffee and blankets. The house is stunning inside and out. It is also very clean. Burlington is close by with tons of fun activities. We also made the mistake of getting locked out! Vacasa was very responsive and helped us fix our situation quickly. I would love to go back here during the summer to enjoy the beach more.

Cheerful Colchester Lakefront Property
The house was fully equipped with everything we needed to host a holiday meal for our extended family. We were three generations enjoying VT and all felt so comfortable and happy in the home! Great place !!

Great house, well managed
House was every bit as impressive as its listing and then some. Very clean, and well maintained, did not feel or look like a rental property at all.
It was very cold and windy while we we there, and the house was comfortable with no drafts at all. Only complaint was that some of the outside lights didn't work...but I am guessing that was by design as there are numerous signs to turn off the outside lights by 10pm as to not bother the neighbors.

A Large House on Lake Champlain that would Benefit from Updating
Overall, this is a sizeable and verysharable property whose main strength is that it sits on its own beach looking across Lake Champlain. Weather allowing, it has amazing views of across the lake. We were two couples and we had adequate room to spread out. It had a desirable homey feeling. Kitchen was well-appointed so that we could prepare many of our own meals. The home is located about 20 minutes from downtown Burlington and about the same from the Burlington Int. Airport. There are numerous small towns and sites in reasonable driving distance from the home. The Shelburne Museum was temporarily closed during our stay, a disappointment, but we did get to see the beautiful Shelburne barn.

Sunsets on the lake
This house is nicely situated on Lake Champlain in a quiet neighborhood. There’s a nice deck, and a sunroom for colder days, both overlooking the lake. Burlington is a 10 minute drive. I also recommend a trip to Winooski and Waterworks restaurant.

Perfect location for a getaway with friends.
The house was spacious and immaculately clean. The location was perfect for us; easy access to a walking trail, local food shopping and coffee. We traveled a short distance to Burlington for shopping and lunch. Spent the evenings preparing dinner and watching the large screen TV. The lake was beautiful and right at our back door. This place is a keeper!

Adult family trip
Beautiful sunsets. Enjoyed the bike path with its convenient location. Easy car ride into Burlington and Shelburne. House could use a power washing outside and quite a few spiderwebs inside as well. Otherwise clean and spacious. Master bed is very firm. Enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful views
Beautiful views of mountains and sunsets from this home on the lake. Great bike/walking path right at end of short street. Easy drive to Burlington. House could use a good power wash, some end tables, and the screen slider in the master bedroom would not stay shut so it was very hot! Please fix. Thanks

Great house
Lovely home! Spacious for our family of 8. Too bad the weather didn’t cooperate. But we enjoyed lots of family time together. Airport park was a plus… walking distance from the house.
