There is no reception desk. You need to go search for a waiter to check you in. Although we only got keys and noone took our IDs to check us in legally. The poor waiters were running around all day in sweat. They wore old style "black pants + long sleeves white shirt" combo in 40 degrees. The restaurant menu was pages printed out and put in greasy plastic folders. Noone in the hotel could give us any information about the visits and walks we could do during our stay. Food was ok, even though most of it is very greasy. There is always a lot of meat and not many vegetables. Definitely not vegetarian friendly. Food was nice, even though most of it is very greasy. The lighting fixtures near the bed weren't working properly. The shades for the window in the room couldn't be closed on one side (we were woken up by the light too early every day). We complained about it for a few days, but nobody fixed anything. There was little natural light in the room. We were just above the restaurant kitchen, with all the noise and frying smell from the early morning till late at night. What was announced by a "large terrasse" is actually the exterior of our groundfloor room next to the kitchen ventilation. Our towels were old and with holes. They would bring clean ones every day, but they arrived stil a bit wet, yet folded. The cleaning lady was vacuum cleaning next to us eating breakfast. At the end when we needed to pay, the owner tried to make us pay cash without receipt. They said since noone declared our stay when we came, they couldn't do it anymore. We managed to pay by card and get a receipt, but the process was painful. As a Serb, I was very disappointed with the experience altogether and it made me sad.

If you look for an accommodation on the hill, this is quite ok, at 1150m, fresh air and pine trees around. Only 15 min drive to Uvac canyon starting point. If you want to see the canyon from top go to Vidikovac Molitva, 90 min drive and 4-6 km hiking.

Staff do not speak English, smoking is allowed in the restaurant, WiFi sometimes works sometimes not. The breakfast is only one choice of food e.g ham and eggs, and one glass of drink ( camomilla tea) or yoghurt. Extra coffee for surcharge. Better to book via the hotel itself not via Booking.com, was more expensive.

Excellent location and great food. Wooden villa just across the main hotel villa was a wonderful experience. Staff was friendly and accommodative with our requests.
