We enjoyed a great week! Beautiful home!

Very comfortable. Loved the ocean views. Only thing that was tricky was getting in and out of garage with an SUV - but we managed.

I rent quite often and found this home to be the best equipped house I have rented. The beds were comfortable, the view was great, better than I was expecting. The 2 car garage actually fit 2 cars, which isn’t always the case. We had a great time.

Four adults and two toddlers had a fantastic stay at Mission Beach . Great location! Lovely neighborhood! Never move the car . A spotless and very comfortable two story complex with ocean views from both levels , with a lovely well equipped kitchen. The 3.5 spacious bathrooms ( one in each bedroom ) and the half bath off the kitchen were very accommodating. . Garage parking perfect ! Check in seamless! Host very helpful and extremely pleasant! Just a FYI …. That there are many steps to experience Paradise . There are 18 steps up to the front door, plus the inside staircase to get up to the kitchen, dining, living area ,,and third bedroom. We will definitely return to Paradise !

We had an awesome time at this place. It’s a beautiful home just a few steps away from the beach. The market and restaurants across the street make things really convenient. The house provided a lot of fun toys for the beach as well as bikes for the boardwalk. Sherie was awesome to communicate with, she was quick to get back to us with any questions. Our family had an amazing time and hope to be able to return in the future. Would definitely recommend….Thank you!!!

When we arrived it was late and dark (Midnight). We were able to get into the property easily per the provided instructions. The amenities of the home provided were as described and the proximately to the beach was perfect. We were just one house away from the beach (close enough for a good view but away from the traffic of the beach). We were able to see the surfers hitting the surf early in the morning and the sunset in the evening. Very close to the airport, zoo, SeaWorld, and Belmont park. We would definitely stay here again.

Home was as described. Great location. Good communication with property owner, and the home was well stocked with necessities. Our family had a good time and we were able to relax and enjoy SD.

Very well supplied and comfortable home. The ocean view was stunning with sunsets to capture. Host was very attentive. I would most definitely recommend. The outside shower was great having smaller kids along. I would definitely return, like tomorrow if i could! I would check in first as like i said, very well supplied to see what you might need. I was amazed! Garage had 2 parking spots where we were able to fit two cars. We rented a Hyundai Elantra and had no problems getting in or out. You don’t really need a vehicle because everything is within walking distance. Lovely family vacation with memories made.

We were 3 retired couples escaping the desert heat and wanting some ocean time. The location and comfort of this unit were perfect for us. It had everything we needed to have a wonderful 4 days. We could enjoy ocean views every evening snd morning from the roof deck. Owner was great to work with - we’ll book again.

Usually, my expectations and reality with a rental don’t match but in this case, I was pleasantly surprised. We did rent it during a heat wave (who knew??!!) and experienced problems with the AC but the property owner did her best to resolve it over a Labor Day weekend holiday. Much appreciated. Overall, our family had a very nice reunion. *Note: do not rent a large vehicle as the garage spots are very narrow and short.

This place was a truly a gem. Each couple had their own bedrooms and bathroom offering both comfort and privacy. The location is perfect! Seconds from the beach and walking distance to local restaurants. We will be back?

We loved the location and well appointed condo. Owner was super communicative and nice. Spent hours on the deck enjoying the fire pit and view of ocean. Would definitely go back!

This house was perfect for our family of 5. There was plenty of space for everyone with a great layout and loved having 3 bathrooms. We took many walks along the beach, tried a number of area restaurants, sat around the firepit at night and the kids spent time boogie boarding and biking with the supplied equipment. I highly recommend this rental!

This was a great location and views of the ocean from patio spectacular. Fireworks from Sea World an added plus. Walking distance to just about everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again. All the accessories you would need including bikes ,boogie boards,paddle boards etc. We only used the bikes but nice to have available! A plus property!

The owner was extremely helpful in her communications. She even emailed ahead to warn us of some road work happening around the unit. She sent pictures, a video and personally talked to us to help us understand. She did additional research to answer our questions. We really appreciated the transparency. The unit has a nice view of the beach and ocean from both decks/balconies and all the back windows + is is close to many of the key attractions in San Diego.

This house was absolutely perfect for three adult couples. All bedrooms had it's own bathroom, bedrooms were very spacious and all had ocean view. The roof top deck and fire pit was amazing each night. Excellent location.

We saw dolphins from the deck one morning and humming birds every day. At night, we could see the fireworks at Sea World on weekends. The location is great, too - it's on the quieter and more residential part of Mission Beach, so we could walk easily to where all the activity was, but it was much quieter around the house. It's close enough to the southern end so it's easy to walk around to the bay side, which has a different feel. We would happily go back to the house again in the future.

The house is fully stocked with everything we needed to make our meals at home, the view is amazing from just about every room! We were slightly disappointed that the upstairs patio was closed in, so to see the ocean you had to sit at the table out there, but it was still amazing! I did want to mention that this side of Belmont Park seems to be in the flight path of the airport runways, so it was super noisy in that regard. But obviously that cannot be helped and was in no way the properties fault! I would highly recommend staying here! It truly is one house from the boardwalk/beach and they have beach chairs, body boards, surf boards, bikes, kites…pretty much anything you could want for a beach vacation! The garage is SUPER tight to get into - we had a Pacifica and incurred some damage the first time going in, but again - nothing that can be helped! Just an FYI.

We have stayed near Mission Beach at other properties in the past- we return again and again for the amazing environment and eclectic atmosphere. This particular dwelling is incredibly unique in that there is a broad distance between the buildings that stand in front it and the residence occupies the second and third stories of the building. As such, one can literally look from any of the west-facing windows and appreciate a generous view of sand and surf - actually, I was doing dishes from the north-facing sink and had a perfect view of the ocean. We arrived on a Thursday and messaged the owner. She was very responsive. We were lucky to have arrived on a day when an early check-in was available - we hadn't even asked for it, but Sherie, hearing that we had arrived so early, graciously offered it. We were so pleased to find the house clean and ready. There were unexpected perks: five beach cruisers in the garage and an array of toys from boogie boards to beach chairs, to a surf board. We had read reviews from others that the garage was "too small". Frankly, I think that this is a matter of perspective: this was a two car garage that very easily fit a smaller Nissan Sedan and left enough room for another. This, in a neighborhood such as Mission Beach is amazing- also, easy access is offered with both a portable remote as well as a key pad. You must understand, this is a very populated area garage parking for one car, let alone two is remarkable. If you have an SUV, you simply need to have someone in your party help you back in diagonally. Furthermore, the outdoor shower is a life saver: there is a light inside, it locks from the inside, and the thoughtful owner has left some body wash and hair products inside. So, yes: you can take off your suit, rinse off the sand, wash, wrap your towel around you and walk upstairs not tracking any of the beach with you. Another unique offering is that the three bedrooms have a king bed and an en-suite full bathroom. And the cherry on top is the half bath just off the kitchen on the third level. On our second morning around 0700, we saw porpoises playing in the surf about 15 feet from the shore while standing on the balcony! We were able to see the sunset every night from the master suite on the third floor. There are many restaurants and small markets within walking distance. Ralphs (Kroger) is about 2 miles away. Ultimately, we would, and do plan to book this location again!
