House was the perfect lake house, very spacious, all the things you would want, very well appointed, my grandkids loved the nice touch of some toys in the house, lake access was great, a lot of things to do in the area, owner was very responsive and easy to work with. I would deifnitly rent this house again. If you rent this house you won't be disappointed.

My husband and I rented this home for a summer getaway for us, our children and their significant others. The upper part of Cayuga Lake is conveniently close to the Syracuse airport, and the small town where my husband's parents live, so they were able to visit a couple of times throughout the week; a special treat since their travel opportunitites become more limited as they age. Situated right on Cayuga Lake, the lake house has a great, open floor plan with plenty of room for everyone, and still feels cozy with plenty of separate spaces to enjoy. Meals at the huge dining table, on the screened in porch, and out at the picnic table on the upper deck were perfect. We enjoyed the kayaks and the fire pit, set up corn hole boards we brought from home for some outdoor fun, made use of the fabulous dining table with several lively games of Scattegories and unwound with a bit of wine from the local wineries and a dip in the hot tub. Many of us found a quiet spot to catch up on reading or simply listen to the lapping of water on the private deck. Everything was in working order within the house, and the owner responded quickly when I had a question. Trips into Seneca Falls proved enjoyable as we visited Parkers Grille and Tap House, Sauders Store, Fall Street Brewing and the It's A Wonderful Life Museum. The laid back feel of the area is refreshing. We all greatly enjoyed our stay and hope to return again.

The place was in a fantastic spot. Access to Cayuga Lake was easy and beautiful. House was well appointed with everything you could need. Only issue(a small one) was trying to get the lock box open. It's very hard to access the key, esp in the dark when we arrived. Once we got in, everything was lovely.

This was the quintessential lake house. It was absolutely gorgeous. The space was great. The bedrooms were terrific. The lake front was amazing. We so enjoyed our stay. Many, many thanks to Mr. Mulcahy!

Beautiful! We had a wonderful time! We had coffee on the dock in the mornings to watch the sun rise. We waded in the lake with our dog. We went to numerous state parks for hiking; Tunkhannock was spectacular! We drove up to Lake Ontario one day to Chimney Bluffs state park. We also visited the Muranda Cheese Farm which was wonderful. We also visited Sauders which reminded us of our Mennonite shops here in PA. We bought lots of homemade baked goods. We are an older couple who love to hike in nature with our dog. We don't drink alcohol, but we found loads of things to do. There are plenty of wineries and breweries in the area for those that do enjoy this type of activity. Also, the house was gorgeous, hot tub was really nice and the king size bed was extremely comfortable. Highly recommend!

Property Manager communicated all throughout the process! Location was easy to get to. House was large enough for my kids and my parents to be able to enjoy reading a book at one spot and playing game sin another. I highly recommend! Place was beautiful. I especially liked the hige dining room table!

Everything was as promised

An absolute gem on the lake with beautiful sunrise views. We rented the property because my daughter was graduating college and had some family joiningus for the ceremonies. The rental exceeded our expectations - the rooms are large and quite spacious and we were able to fit the whole family at the gorgeous dining room table. It was my first time renting, so I had some questions. The host was incredibly responsive with my questions ahead of arrival and during our stay. Check in was perfectly communicated. Comfortable beds, well stocked bathrooms and kitchen, and thoughtful amenities. I hope I have the opportunity to stay again.

First time away from home for Thxgiving & decided to book a place with a lake view along with my brother's family. It was a great choice for the eight of us. Great location. Walls of large windows to view lake while eating and waking up to-which was beautiful!. House has a well stocked kitchen, bath towels, etc. Wineries are less than a quick 5 min down the road & they were awesome. Hot tub was a plus. Able to use the screened sun room which of course was cold due to time of year so it was so convenient to keep food cold and store extras that could not fit in refrig. Went to Skaneateles (30 min easy drive) for the day to see the Dickens Christmas outdoor event (every weekend from thxgiving-christmas). Beautiful quaint town around the lake with shops, eateries, carolers, actors walking around in character, etc-like a Hallmark movie! The house owner very responsive with any questions or concerns. Would definitely recommend!

Great location. Comfortable beds. Lots of towels but has a nice washer dryer. It could use some updated cookware, they are warped. I would rent again but bring my own pots.

This house is lovely, clean and larger than it appears in pictures. The windows are amazing with gorgeous lake views! The gas fireplace was cozy for chilly evenings. The kitchen is well stocked and even has a keurig. The hottub was perfect for after hikes or for the brisk autumn air. Beds were comfortable. We had a wonderful stay and would love to return.

Perfect location on Cayuga Lake close to many wineries, great hot tub, fantastic kitchen, lots of room, plenty of towels, nice fire pit and kayaks to use. Property manager responded quickly to any questions and concerns we had via text. We had a wonderful time, just wish it could have been longer.

We loved our stay and this home. There was plenty of room to spread out and The home was well equipped everything we needed. We enjoyed the hot tub each night. Communication is great and we were able to check in early which made all the difference for us, as we were in the area for a wedding. We would definitely recommend this home and stay again.

Six of us traveled for a long weekend to celebrate a family wedding. The property was perfect! We had plenty of space to spread out in a very well-stocked, comfortable home. I cannot think of one thing that could improve the space! We loved not only the beautiful lake views, but also the access for fishing, paddling, etc… The owner responds quickly and has been very friendly. Highly recommend this property.

We really enjoyed the easy access to Cayuga Lake. The dock made it easy for my small grandsons to fish with their dad. The 2 available kayaks were a terrific way to get out on the lake without having to bring our own. The house and accommodations were comfortable and relaxing.

Our group had a great time here (even with some not so pleasant weather ). The main areas are large and plenty of room to hang out cook together and enjoy a weekend away. Owner provided directions the week before about check in and all the minor details. The fireplace warms up so fast and made for a cozy touch this wine weekend in with my friends and family. The following isn’t necessarily negatives just a few things to make sure people know ahead of time, parking the local laws only allow 5 cars in driveway. We clearly made it work and having a heads up was great about this as we came from all over NY and could plan in advance for carpooling/parking , and the hot tub may be listed on VRBO as an 8 person hot tub but owner does strictly ask for only 4 people at a time in it. That was only downside that the 6 of us that could go in, couldn’t all go in at once like thought when originally clicking reserve/book. So honestly considering that was our “let down”of the whole trip and we were given the heads up in the welcome packet about it. This weekend was great and I would definitely plan to come back with a group when the weather was nicer! The owner responds fast and is super helpful to questions you may have!

Wonderful get away

Excellent property. Nice and quiet. Beautiful sunset. Enjoyed the peace and quiet out on the deck.

We had a wonderful time at Bonnie Banks! This house is Equipped with everything you need for your getaway week! It is spacious so an entire family of all age ranges could not be tripping over each other! Jamie was always quick to reply with any questions. The location is perfect. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we have booked a week in the summer of 2021!

Could not take being quarantined anymore! We rented this house as a family (kids, spouses, grand kids, and grand dogs) House and property were as beautiful as shown in the photos and had lots of space for all of us. The extra long dining table was perfect for seating 8 of us for dinner and still have room on one end for our puzzle-in-progress. Dishes, pots/pans, were well stocked and all we needed. A couple of us missed our comfortable beds at home, but the ones at the house were fine for the week. The deck with the hot tub was perfect for relaxing with many of the wines we purchased at near by wineries. Had some issues with bugs and bug bites when sitting out there. Fishing off the dock was great for our grandson and one grand dog never tired of running down the dock, jumping into the water to fetch his tennis ball. The kayaks were a big hit, too. Communication with Jamie was excellent. We highly recommend this owner and house.

We had a great time with our family when we visited the property for Fourth of July week. This property has amenities galore! Everything you'll need for cooking (blender, coffee machine, so many utensils, pans, pots, wine glasses and more!) can be found in the large kitchen. We loved the open format of the downstairs space but the outdoor area is the real gem of this home! We spent our mornings drinking coffee on the patio and evenings drinking Finger Lakes wine by the fire pit. Plenty of room for yard games and great deck for floating in the lake. This location had smart touches with a washer/dryer, a hot tub, fishing poles, kayaks, inner tubes, board games and more. Comfortable beds and plenty of space for 8 adults and two dogs. We really enjoyed our stay and location proximity to wineries!

Absolutely gorgeous with every possible amenity available. Spacious and comfortable with a large open concept on the first floor. Multiple decks to lounge on and plenty of yard space to play games. Would definitely recommend for a large group. I would 100% come back in the future.
