very clean, once block away from the breach, pool

We loved our stay! Perfect family getaway, steps from the beach. Plenty of space for all of us, loved having the pool right out our door, everything we could have needed was in the kitchen. Close to shops and grocery. Would definitely stay again!

We spent 6 nights at The Marlin & it was wonderful! The location can't be beat! Steps to the beach! Quiet, safe neighborhood & a clean, warm pool with plenty of patio seating, beach chairs, outdoor shower & floats for the kids. We enjoyed the convenient walk to Publix, CVS, plenty of souvenir shops, ice cream & Chinese one night. We ventured about 10 min south for mini golf & felt even happier at the location we had! We also visited South Florida Museum in Bradenton to see the manatee rescue, but mostly it was a beach, pool, sunshine break! Thank you Cheri for sharing your property so that others can enjoy just a piece of this paradise!

We enjoyed our stay at The Marlin. It was super close to the beach, Publix and CVS. The place could use a few updates, but it's very clean and decorated nicely. Loved having a washer/dryer. We loved the neighbors, very friendly!!

You can walk to beach, store, and restaurant easily. The pool is nice too. I believe that this is the best value for a 2 bedroom home

The location was very good only a short walk to the ocean. And if you wanted there was cafe on the beach within walking distance which was nice for breakfast or lunch. Although the pool was clean and very nice the weather just wasn't warm enough to swim as we were there the last week in January. The kitchen had everything you would need for cooking there were even paper towels.coffee,and some spices that were probably left by previous vacationers. There were plenty of towels and wash cloths, and extra blankets for the beds if needed. We are thinking of renting the three bedroom next year and bringing along some friends. Dave DeFrank

It was a wonderful stay on Anna Maria Island. The property is close to the beach and very near to the next publix. The furnishing and equipment are very lovely, the pool is great and the garden and grill area revery nice. An awesome stay for the hole family!! We like to come back.

Very clean , plenty of room

The house was perfect, very clean and the property was well kept. The sunsets are amazing! The short walk down the quite road to the beach made it feel like you were on the beach front. The pool and grill area was huge compared to other properties. We love Anna Marie Island and will be back with the rest of the family. Thank you Cheri for the wonderful job you do.

Very happy with our stay. Only 1 block from beach. The apartment had everything you need from comfortable bed to kitchen equipment.

This is the second time I've stayed at the Marlin and I can't wait to go back. The apartment is spacious, bright, and immaculate. It is exceptionally well-stocked if you plan to cook. It's attractively decorated and less than a minute's walk to the beach. I had a car but it's a short walk to a very good grocery store and a number of good restaurants. The pool area is nice although it was too cool to swim while I was there. Even at regular prices it's a bargain for what you get, but I benefitted from a special rate that made the rental a steal. Cheri, the manager, is very helpful and easy to work with. I love the Marlin. I can't recommend it highly enough.

Very clean and comfortable!!!! Beach right across the street; Publix about two blocks away! Great pool area! Awesome place!!!! The manager is very affable and quick to respond to any questions! (Our coffee pot broke the first day; replaced immediately!!!) A REALLY GREAT FIND!!!!!!!!!!!!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Me and my wife stayed at the Marlin 202 for a long weekend getaway. We had a great weekend. The house was very nice and clean. The pool area was also very nice. The beach is only 200yds away so very easy to walk back and forth to the house. Had all your beach needs with the beach towels, chairs and umbrella. You can walk to the grocery store and other stores. We also walked to breakfast on the beach in the morning which is at Manatee beach. I would defiantly come back and stay. I stayed at the Marlin for 5 nights in the beginning of October and had a wonderful time. I was there for a personal retreat and enjoyed that it was quiet, had all of the amenities that I needed (washer and dryer, beach chairs, pots and pans and kitchen stuff, comfortable couches and a hammock by the pool). The house is a 2 minute walk to the beach which makes it so easy to pop back and forth as needed. There is a Publix (grocery store) right around the corner and the downtown is a short drive away. The house was clean and tidy upon my arrival. I loved the little pool courtyard out back. I ate lunch outside most days and even took on the hammock one day. I will definitely check out the Marlin again if and when I am back at Anna Maria Island.

Went to the Marlin for a weekend get away, loved the location. 3 Blocks to the trolley, very close to the beach. Loved the pool choice also when we were tired of the beach. Everything was exactly liked pictured, also early check in was the best. Anna Maria Island is one of the best places, quiet, and relaxing..............

My wife, son and I just spent a great week at the Marlin staying in #206. We have previously stayed in a smaller condo closer to Cortez in the past and here we were immediately impressed by the privacy and quietness of the street and unit. There was another family that came in a few days after we got there and we really didn't notice them except in passing. This unit was furnished with everything we needed to enjoy the week to include detergent and fabric softener sheets for the washer and dryer that was in the master bedroom. The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking and bakeware. The unit was very clean with fresh bedding and numerous pillows. The tvs were all updated flat screens that had cable. After confirming payment with the owners early on they provided contact information in case we needed anything however the unit and furnishings were all in great condition. The access to the beach was an effortless short walk and we used the pool and hammock almost daily. Although we didn't use the outdoor grilling area I did go over and look it over and the inside of the grill and cooking grates were clean and ready to be used. There was also plenty of parking as our neighbors had guests over and everyone had places to park. I appreciated the ease of dealing with Cheri while renting this and our communications prior to and after the rental. As I've been coming to Anna Maria Island to vacation my entire life I'm almost hesitant to give away how impressed we were with the unit because before long I'll be looking to come back here again and I'm hoping it's available. Thanks again for sharing the unit and we'll be back.

Our first night/day #204 was enjoyable with close proximity to beach ,nice furnishings and swimming pool. Then, neighbors moved into #206 who were very rowdy with at least 10 people in their 2 bedroom unit.Their kids took over the pool without adult supervision.We could only use the pool when they were gone ! Owners should limit number of occupants per unit.

The place was nicely decorated. Had everything we needed. Pool and outdoor kitchen were wonderful. We loved our stay at The Marlin.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Marlin and enjoyed every minute of our stay. Our cottage was cute, clean and comfortable. The pool was very refreshing and the cottage was very close to the beach. The location is great - close to Publix, CVS, restaurants, hardware store, etc. - yet, it was very quiet and not on a main street. I hope to stay there again next year.

The unit was great, a big thank you to Cheri and her husband. The two of you made our stay relaxing and worry free. The description and amenities listed for the rental is pretty spot on. What we loved was the little paradise the back yard was made into; fenced in, pool(kid friendly), plenty of chairs and tables, super comfortable hammock hung between palm trees, the outdoor kitchen. Inside the unit we found it to be very clean, comfortable beds and all appliances worked. Minus a direct view of the beach, you couldn't ask for much better positioning on AMI. The beach access was about a minute walk from our front door, just one non busy street to cross. Publix grocery, CVS, Walgreens and beach shops all with-in walking distance(5 to 10 min.). We only would have two suggestions for the owner. First, child safety locks on cabinets and second a juicer to make fresh squeezed orange juice. Our family will do our best to stay again, hopefully we will have some friends and family to come use the other two units in the building.

Stay was great. Heated pool with all the colorful lights around created great atmosphere for evening swim. Beach is literally just across the street. There is grocery pharmacy and couple of more stores just short walk away. We also visited the Anchor pub. That one is very close as well! Units are fully equipped! Cheri is great owner!

We really enjoyed the Marlin, it was roomy. The outdoor kitchen, pool and only being steps to the beach made it the perfect place for us. There were only three of us but six so would be comfortable. They had everything needed except plastic glasses for outside and wine glasses. The pool was wonderful and we enjoyed it everyday after the beach. Congratulations to Cat for having a wonderful property. We hope to stay there again and thoroughly recommend the Marlin.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Cat's condo. The condo was just as pictured and described on VRBO - clean and well-stocked. Our kids and I loved and enjoyed the pool! I was thankful that the beach was close and easy to get to; no crossing a major road because we have 3 children including a toddler. My girls and I appreciated being able to walk to Publix, souvenir shops and local restaurants. We also enjoyed renting bikes that were conveniently delivered to the condo. My husband and son enjoyed lots of off-shore and local pier fishing. It was a pleasure to get to meet the owner, Cat. We were not disappointed at all and hope to return.

My husband and I just returned from our week at the Marlin and we couldn't be happier! We were lucky to have had perfect weather all week, just a stones throw to a gorgeous beach. Cat was wonderful, always giving us a locals perspective on good restaurants and sites. Love her!!! The apartment was well appointed with everything we needed for our vacation. If you're comtemplating renting at the Marlin, you won't be disappointed. DO IT!!!!

Clean & spacious unit. Well furnished and very comfortable. Owner was available and accommodating. Literally a few steps to the beach; walking distance to the surf shop, Publix, CVS, ice cream shop & more. And cycling distance of everything else. This stretch of the beach is wide and clean, not crowded & a good bike riding beach at low tide. Exceptional bargain with the Summer Special. Especially loved the outdoor shower! Can't wait to come back next year for Surf Camp!!

Cat, the owner of this property, is very helpful and a great source of local info about the island. We stayed in one of the 2BR units and found it quite comfortable and well-appointed. It's a great area - one short block from the beach, quiet, yet within walking distance of shopping. Anna Maria Island is our favorite location in all of Florida! We plan to return and definitely recommend it to others.
