Close to the beach, store, harbor, restaurants, and parks. Great fenced yard for dogs and kids. Kids loved the games.

This property really made our family trip fun. Both kids and adults enjoyed the games and hot tub, and having a fenced in yard for the dog was really helpful. It’s very close to the beach and a nice restaurant, and conveniently located in town, making it ideal for exploring.

The house was a great place for our family of 6 to stay. My kids loved the games available upstairs. The house was clean and was in a great location, only a couple minutes walk to the beach. The house is older and some little quirks, like the heating making a high pitched squealing noise when it was on, but besides that it was a great place to stay.

We lived staying at this A Frame. The location can't be beat. The house was spacious and well-equipped. It has tons of personality. We loved it.

This was our second stay here. The first was five years ago. It is just as beautiful as it was then. I enjoyed the old decor, it reminded me of when I lived in Hawaii as a kid. Loved having no carpet. Loved the hot tub. Loved the back yard! Love the A frame house being re-built next to it. Can’t wait to rent them both if available. Loved the pinball machine. Loved the master bedroom with big room upstairs. All in all beautiful. Definitely get a new guest book someones little guy scribbled all over it.

The house was nice and big for 2 teenage boys, a college girl, a tween, a post-college student a mom and grandmother. There was lots of TVs for relaxing. The beds were clean and comfy. And plenty of bathrooms for all. The only downside was not being able to see the ocean from the house, but it was close enough that you could hear the ocean waves crashing. The hot tub was nice, too.

This is one of our very favorite coastal rental houses that we’ve stayed in! We will definitely return. We’ve stayed in lots of these types of places over the years, and this one was really special - It is so cozy and feels lived in. There are lots of personal touches and even idiosyncrasies (like little post it note tips everywhere) that make it really feel like you’re staying at a friend’s house for the weekend. A lot of rentals feel sterile like a hotel that no one has ever actually lived in. This one is the opposite - it’s all about charm and coziness. I do think some people may have to adjust expectations - the online photos make it seem like a “luxury” vibe, and If that’s what you’re seeking, this isn’t really that. And there are no beach views (the beach is a close walk away, just down a lot of stairs). But if you want a cozy, little bit funky spot for friends and family, it’s perfect! Very spacious (we were a group of 4 and had oodles of room, could easily have fit 2 more). Epically well stocked kitchen in terms of cooking utensils / serving items/pots and pans, found all we needed for home cooked meals all weekend including waffle iron, griddle and other speciality items. Hot tub was large and in great shape! Sofa in the living room is crazy comfy adjustable recliner that you melt into. Finally, the free play arcade games in the loft were sooooo fun - we played tons of pinball and tons of Ms PAC-Man and Space Invaders. Such a special house overall, highly recommend!

Really cool house, not your typical box. Everything we needed was there, everything worked. Nice to have many of the light switches labeled so there was no guessing. Very nice to have three bathrooms. The house is very comfortable to just hang out in, easy access, and close to just about everything. Would love to stay again sometime!

This property is showing a little wear, the dishes are chipped and some furniture well worn but overall it is a comfortable stay and the updates in the kitchen and bathrooms were nice. The pinball machine and hot tub were unexpected extras and fun to enjoy. Good place for a family Close to the beach but no view on a busy street. All in all we enjoyed our two days in Newport

There is an abundant of easy ways to access the beach. And the beach had ample shoreline even during high tide. There was plenty to keep occupied when the weather was sour, between board and card games, an old table video arcade, hot tub, and pinball machine. The house was fully-furnished and had everything one could need. It is a safe and quiet neighborhood. Lots of room to spread out and find a quiet nook even during busy family gatherings. Highly recommend

We had a fun trip. This place is cute and cozy. Great living room furniture, comfy beds and fenced backyard space. Three bathrooms is a plus, too. Bring your essentials, as they don’t supply soap for showering and bathing. Good kitchen setup. Hot tub is not upstairs (as pictured) with an ocean view, though. It’s downstairs, in back yard, off main bedroom. I can recommend this place.

Two master suites with their own bathrooms, additional bedroom and a loft with old arcade games and pinball machine was perfect. House was very well stocked with everything we needed including garbage bags, toilet paper, toiletries, soap etc. the last house we rented hand none of these things so we were so happy these were provided. 2 min walk to the beach but be prepared for a lot of stairs, didn’t bother us but might for those with limited mobility. Dutch Bros was a 2 min walk and perfect for morning coffee, there is a coffee maker in the house but w slice Dutch Bros. Location was very convenient to get to the docks and into town. Beds were very comfortable, plenty of towels provided and beach towels for the hot tub. Crab pots in the garage that we wanted to use but will have to do that on our next stay. Host was very responsive and laid back. Nice notes posted around the house to give info like which switch controls the lights fans etc and how to use the different arcade machines were helpful. House was very clean and maintained. Would definitely stay at this property again!

We enjoyed our stay! The furniture and beds were very comfortable! Close walk to the beach to view the sunset! The hot tub was amazing!

This place was a perfect weekend getaway! The owner was super responsive and even gave us a discount because there was some unfinished construction on the back deck. The house was exactly as advertised, very clean, within walking distance of everything we needed, great yard for our dog, relaxing hot tub and fun video/pinball games. Would definitely stay again!

First - Jerry is an excellent host! He couldn’t have done more to make our stay more welcome and he was very accommodating. The location of his home was perfect for what our group wanted to experience in Newport. The arcade games provided many laughs and good times. The home was spotless when we arrived and well equipped with everything we needed to make it “our” home for a few days. Would highly recommend for anyone wanting to experience the Newport area, which is an awesome place to visit. Pete and family.

From start to finish, we enjoyed our time at this wonderful home. The location was perfect (close enough to walk to coffee/restaurants/beach) but far enough away from 101 to feel nice and quiet. Upstairs in the house, much to my delight is a Terminator 2 pinball machine. I used to work at a bar in North Bend that had the same pinball machine! Playing that game was like stepping back in time, what a nice surprise. Communication with the host was excellent. This house is now on our "rent again" list.

Great location - easy walk to beach access and Nye beach neighborhood. Amenities are perfect - hot tub, fenced yard for our dog, T2 terminator pinball. Recommended and would book again.

This was a cute house that slept 8 adults mostly comfortably. Had some fun old school large-console video games and a pinball machine. Hot tub was a nice bonus! Super close to the beach and lots of fun shops and attractions in Newport. House was well kept and in a nice neighborhood. Thanks for the lovely stay!

Had everything we needed: fenced yard, 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, small but well-stocked kitchen, built-in entertainment with hot tub and games. Loved the family room with lounger sofa for family togetherness. One of the burners on the bbq did not work, but we made due. Enjoyed our stay.

Check in was easy, property was in good condition! My family loved the hot tub and arcade games. We hope to come back again!

The location of this property is perfect. You are a five minute walk from beach access. You can walk to restaurants, parks, a coffee shop. The property is only two blocks from 101 so it's a great spot to use a basecamp as you explore the Oregon Coast. We had fun playing Pinball and old school Atari games in the loft. Beds were comfortable and we appreciated having access to cable, HBO, and streaming options after a long day exploring. The house is older so the showers are on the smaller side but clean and fully functional. The house itself was spotless when we arrived. Furniture is comfortable, especially the reclining couch. And the property manager was very responsive when I had questions about the check out process. There was construction going on at the property next door but we were gone most days so we weren't bothered by the noise, and that's not the fault of the property owner. Just something to be aware of. Overall, this was a great place to stay!

Great house, big yard for kids and dogs. We loved the location- a short walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. Jump across 101 and you are right in the old bay district and many more activities. A perfect home base in Newport!

Everything we could have needed! The only thing this perfect A frame was missing was a nice ocean view, but with beach access close by and all the amenities the home offered, we hardly missed it. The owners were great, we will definitely book again!

Awesome house, easy beach access, lots to do. Any issues that came up were resolved in a timely manner. Host was excellent at responding to texts and messages through the app. My kids LOVED playing the arcade games, and the adults enjoyed the hot tub. Quiet neighborhood, even with the remodel happening next door. Plenty of parking which was great because my huge SUV did not fit in the driveway or garage. Backyard was excellent and large, with a fire pit and picnic table. The house is not incredibly mobile-baby friendly (plants and stairs) but if you have one of those you're going to be on your toes any where. 3 bathrooms, and plenty of signs everywhere to eliminate guessing. The house really is "bigger on the inside", and I would definitely stay here again!

Loved this place and want to come back! If you are looking for something different that the standard beach cottage, something with character but still very nice, this is the place for you. It's an unique and fun a-frame with a large living area, fireplace and 3 nice bedrooms. The kitchen was well-equipped and everything worked well. The location was great with beach access and a nice restaurant just across the street. It is located in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to 101. The big highlights for us were the hot tub and the full-size pinball machine (no quarters needed)!! Communication with the owner was easy and fast.

We loved this house and I’m glad we had it when the weather turned foggy. The kids were content to just hang out at this house. It just felt like home instead of worrying about everything. Wish that we had the garage door opener because it was a pain to unload open the door then open the garage door and vice versa every time we left or came but other then that it was great.

Very easy renting.. We didn't spend as much time in the house as expected... Will rent it again when we don't have so much family camping!
