The house is conveniently located to ASU and is equipped with everything you need for a great stay. There is a beautiful pool with floats and lovely outdoor area to sit and relax. Hosts are amazing. Highly recommend this property.

Saying you'll return says it all. All expectations met with no bad surprises. This "home" isn't managed by a soulless corporation and it shows. The pantry, the linen closet, the storage cabinets, even the kitchen drawers are like home and have every little thing you might need. Everything as pictured and nice, homey touches throughout. Thank you!

This was my fourth time staying at Shirley's property and it never disappoints. The property is always clean, fully stocked and just comfy. The pool floaties were on point this year and as always the location is the best part of this property! Love going to Mill Ave to go to the bars and restaurants. I hope to be back a fifth time.

The Pool House is a lovely place to stay! It is within walking distance to ASU, many restaurants and more. The hosts are warm, welcoming and available, as needed. The house is clean, the pool is the perfect temp, there is plenty of coffee and the amenities are great! We've stayed here many times and plan to return in the future.

This house was very clean and beautiful. The pool was amazing. It was close to all of the areas of Tempe that we wanted to explore. Pete and Shirley were very easy to communicate with.

We love this property and renting from Shirley! This is our second time at this house and everything was fantastic as always! Great location close to ASU. The house is very clean and is supplied with everything you might need. The yard, pool and outdoor TV's are so much fun! We watched college football games from the pool floating on the supplied floaties. There is even a corn hole set! We will be booking again for next parent's weekend.

Absolutely what my kids needed to end the summer enjoying the AZ sun. The pool house was perfect for our stay. Shirley is a great host great communication and very accommodating. We are now 2 for 3 total stays in her properties. Will be back next summer.

My family stayed here as we go my niece moved into her dorm at GC university. Shirley is an amazing host and the house is very clean, very comfortable, and everything you need and more is there! We will be staying here for future college visits. Thanks again for your beautiful home.

Spent a long weekend at Shirley's & Pete's Pool House before moving our son into ASU. Everything you need is here! We spent much of our time in their pool and riding bikes to the nearby town. Shirley was friendly, helpful, and available if needed. I highly recommend the Pool House for your stay. We plan on coming back in the near future.

Our hockey team of 16 year old girls used this VRBO for swimming and meals while in town for an August tournament. It’s PERFECT for a family or gatherings like we had. The pool has a deep end so kids could play pool games. I would rent this house again in a heartbeat. SO close to ASU campus it made everything easy.
Owners were over the top helpful and communicative.

I have stayed at many VRBO'S but this is the first time I have ever written a review. Everything that you are looking for in a perfect house is here. My 13 year old will tell you his favorite part was the 8 foot pool with all the pool toys. My husband will tell you that he liked the location...close to ASU, restaurants, movies etc. I liked that I felt like I was staying at a friend's house and Shirley and Pete are amazing hosts. Super cozy, super clean house and being that I love to cook (other VRBO'S had minimum things that I needed) the kitchen had everything needed and more! We had some family and friends over (with Shirley's permission) and our 4th of July is memorable because of the "pool house."

The ‘pool house’ was a good property and stay for my family for a few days while touring Phoenix. Host is very helpful and has the home stocked with most things you may need both inside & around the pool. excellent location close to ASU. Home is dated as built in the 1960s but certainly has been updated in last 20+ years

The Pool House is our go-to for getaways in Arizona. The layout of the house is open, the tile showers are beautiful, and the kitchen, bathrooms, and laundry room are well stocked with all the amenities you need (we only needed to purchase perishables during our stay). And when you step into the backyard you will understand why this home is called the Pool House. Plenty of lounge chairs, tables, and a bar, a bbq, two outdoor flat screen tvs, and lots of pool toys. The pool itself is fabulous!!! Trust me, this is your next vacation home. We are already planning our next trip!

Best vacation we've had so far. We've stayed at Shirley and Pete's several times and never any issues. There is EVERYTHING you need at the house. The pool and backyard are awesome !! The communication from Shirley was clear and timely. The house was in great shape and well equipped. Perfect for all activities and the outdoor space and pool are really nice. Will stay again when come back to Tempe.

Our stay was everything we were hoping for in Tempe. Even though the weather was rainy and a bit cold, we spent most of our time in the heated pool. The pool temperature was very warm and the thoughtful addition of easy to put on wet suit jackets in the pool house meant we could comfortably stay in the pool for as long as we wanted to swim. We also used the bikes to ride over to the nice park with basketball courts about a block away. The neighborhood was very quiet. We were in the area to visit Mesa - the first autism friendly certified city by IBCCES in the US. Shirley was great to deal with and really helpful with recommendations for golf courses near the house. All the little touches were designed to make our stay comfortable and easy. If we visit the area again, we will absolutely try to stay here.

Our stay was exceptional! The host provided a warm welcome throughout the entire process. We enjoyed the heated pool and bar area on a daily and enjoyed the proximity to all the good eats. Our family is already looking to book again!

This house is wonderful. It's the perfect place to stay while visiting our Sun Devil. The back yard and pool are beautiful. There are two tv's outside so you can hang out and watch football games. Floaties and corn hole are also provided. The house is stocked with everything you need. This is our second time renting from Shirley and we will definitely be renting one of her houses again! The best houses in the area!

Best property we have stayed at. Been here quite a few times and already booked for 3 times next year. House has everything you need pool is huge and clean. And 8ft deep. Pet friendly our dogs 2 rottweilers yogi and bear love the backyard. Shirley is awesome to deal with and the nicest person you will meet

The Pool House was just perfect! Great location , nice neighborhood. The host was available to answer questions in a prompt manner. The house is so so clean & well organized. This was our first VRBO rental and so we didn't know what to expect. From the moment we walked in, we felt like we were at home. The house is really cute and the pool is spectacular!!! Pete and Shirley were available in case we needed anything (we didn't), the neighborhood was nice and quiet, and there are stores and restaurants within walking or short driving. We are already planning our next visit. And worth repeating, the pool is FABULOUS. 5 stars all around.

Best visit!!!
By far, the best short-term rental experience we've ever had! Shirley was amazing - the rental is AMAZING. The place is CLEAN, well-stocked (unbelievably well-stocked), and communication was great with Shirley. She was accommodating with check-in and check-out. Can't say enough good things. I will definitely stay here again when we come back to this area.

Shirley was the best host I have ever had with renting through VRBO. She treated us like family. She really made our trip to Arizona. I would highly recommend this home and the area. We enjoyed our stay at the Pool House. We were in the pool every afternoon. We were close to a lot of restaurants and ASU baseball diamond. A fun time in a fun place.
