My family had a wonderful time staying with our family dog for my son’s college graduation in Boston. Greg was a courteous and most gracious host and we thoroughly enjoyed being all together, lounging on the back porch, cooking and eating family meals, and just hanging out! There was nothing lacking and we would definitely stay again!

We traveled to the area for the Boston Marathon. This home and location were the perfect place for us to be able to relax, cook our own food, and prep for the weekend without the hustle/bustle of the city. The close proximity to public transportation was great and it was an affordable Uber ride into Boston as well. The walkability of the town - to restaurants, churches, groceries, etc. - was excellent. The neighborhood was quiet and the home was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Greg was a wonderful and responsive host. Would definitely stay there again!

We recently spent 3 nights at this beautiful home in Melrose. We had six adults and one child in our party as well as our two dogs. The home was spacious , warm and very clean. We had plenty of room to spread out. The location is perfect. It’s easy to get into Boston via the train. The station is just a few minutes from the house. It’s also a very short drive to get on I-93 and I-95. There are several great restaurants within walking distance. Greg, the host, was outstanding. He was very communicative and accommodating . We will definitely be booking this house again. I highly recommend it!!

The house is a 4 BR, one of which is a lovely 3rd floor loft with one full bathroom on the 2nd floor with the bedrooms and one full bath off the kitchen on main floor. Spacious, well appointed kitchen. Had a small problem with the oven tripping the breaker which Greg promptly arrived and resolved. Great location just 2 miles from my daughter's house and right beside main street. The only reason I gave a 4 star was a dirty pan left in the oven and no towels or body wash in the bathrooms. Plenty of towels in laundry room tho. Will definitely stay here again!

This home is absolutely beautiful (just as pictured) and comfortable. It was not much of a drive to Salem or Boston, so well located! There was plenty of things near by for needs and the commuter trains were close too! We loved our stay and would book it again anytime! Thanks for the great time and letting us use your home Greg!

We loved this home and will be coming back. It was clean in a great neighborhood. There were 7 women and we had plenty of room. The beds were comfortable. We all loved the deck area. Can’t wait to visit again!

Beautiful house, with everything you need to be comfortable away from home. Great neighborhood, walkable to the town’s Main Street.

Was everything we hoped for and more. The house was spotless and the owner even left shampoo and soap on the porch for us to use. We forgot something at the house and the owner sent it right back to us. There was plenty of room for the 8 adults. Great bedrooms and the dining room table was great at night to sit around. We never even went to the basement that had couches and a TV. Will definitely stay again when we go to Boston. Highly recommend!!!!!!

The house was clean and so nice! We were in contact with Greg days leading up to, the entire time during and even after check out. Greg made sure to answer any questions and let me know of local stores to shop out. Overall it was a wonderful, stress free stay!

Wonderful home in Melrose. We stayed here with 3 other couples and it was perfect. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The back porch was perfect for coffee in the morning. Everything was well communicated. Just a perfect host! We were able to walk to restaurants and shops in Melrose and also to the train to go to Boston. Melrose is an amazing small town. We will definitely book this house again when we return.

Comfy, lots of character, clean. Enclosed backyard for dogs. Well equipped kitchen, easy communication with owner. Perfect for us 5 adults. Good restaurants in walking distance. Too bad the orange lline is not running (repairs) .We were close enough to Boston, and Salem. Would definitely recommend.

We had a party of 8 at the property- 2 families- and it worked out really well. Greg was available and helped with any questions we had. Easy walk to the train station to get into Boston, and grocery store and restaurants around the corner.

As a party of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids in their mid-late teens), we really enjoyed the spaciousness & upkeep of the house, the very comfortable beds and the nice neighborhood. We've stayed at a lot of VRBO properties, and this is one of the best maintained places we've been at. Greg is an excellent host and very responsive - and he's a great resource for sightseeing tips! He clearly takes a lot of pride in the house, and it shows. The location is also great - the neighborhood is very quiet other than the commuter train passing through every now and then (which we liked!), and it's an easy walk downtown to good food and a bit of shopping. Access to Boston is also great - the commuter rail is super convenient (if a bit pricey) if you don't want to hassle with parking. The Orange Line (subway) is also pretty close by and cheaper. We thoroughly enjoyed our (all too short!) stay here and would rent from Greg again in a heartbeat. P.S. We didn't make use of it, but the basement "man cave" would be a great place to hang out on a hot summer night - a great place to chill, literally!

Host was very accommodating. House was clean, well furnished and roomy for our 6 adults and one toddler. Overall it was excellent

Fantastic house in a great location. An easy 7 minute walk to the Commuter Rail right into Boston. Well-appointed with toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo/soap/laundry detergent so you don't need to worry about those essentials. We recommend! We'd stay here again.

Absolutely loved this house and location. Host was beyond responsive and immediately answered questions when contacted. Neighborhood is safe, quiet, and walkable to plenty of restaurants, stores and playground.

My family and I had a very enjoyable stay. It was comfortable and had a lot of amenities. Restaurants in the area were great, and it is close to downtown Boston (17-20 minutes).

Our stay in Melrose was very enjoyable. We ate at many of the restaurants on Main St. People were so friendly. The house was equipped with everything we needed. It was clean, very comfortable and the owner was very attentive to our needs when we couldn’t figure out the TV remotes. Thank you for making our vacation in Boston so comfortable.

This was an immaculately maintained home in a nice quiet neighborhood, very convenient to downtown Boston. Our host, Greg, was very responsive, and had a lot of good suggestions for our visit. I would definitely recommend this home.

This is a quaint property in a fun Boston neighborhood with lots of other older homes. We used it as a staging point to easily get to both downtown Boston and the Cape Ann area. It is close to light rail, lots of restaurants, and grocery store options. We also made great use of the back deck where we enjoyed most of our meals. Overall, we had a good experience.

This home was great ! Great location, absolutely fantastic communication with the owner. We will request this home again on our next trip to Boston.

Excellent location, plenty of room for eight adults. Large open floor plan. Owner was excellent help and very courteous. We had a great early Christmas with our first Grand Child. I would definitely rent again.

Very nice home and location. The owner was very friendly, accommodating, and made sure we had all we needed. We went to Boston for Thanksgiving and we were pleasantly surprised with the kitchen supplies available and their quality to make it a wonderful Thanksgiving day. Beds and sheets were very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again
