Private location - with an excellent pool. The beach walk was short with a beautiful sandy and uncrowded beach in front of the walk through. The chairs and wagon came in handy for us! I loved the convenience of coligny plaza as it was a short bike ride or walk for everything we could need.

The house was perfect. It was a 5 minute walk to the beach. A 15 minute walk to the shopping district. But the best part was the house. Pool was perfect. Backyard had plenty of space with many sitting areas. The house inside and out was in great shape. The owner and property manager were extremely helpful. When my daughter left her text to me was we need to rent this house again next year. Couldn’t agree more. Had a wonderful week with the family and renting this house made it perfect. Till next year.

Laura was great with communication before we even arrived at the property. She helped us adjust our dates and arrival time to fit our needs with having a toddler. Which - the option of a crib and pack n play was a life saver for us. We had 6 adults - each with enough space of their own. Great location for the beach and Coligny. We met the property manager upon arrival and she was great as well! Would definitely recommend this home for a family!

Everything was as described! Location was about a five minute walk to the beach and mostly shaded! The pool and hot tub were extra nice after a long day at the beach. Plenty of amenities including cooking items. Would stay again for sure!

The property is in a quiet neighborhood, easy walk to the beach, fully stocked with beach and pool supplies, kitchen and grilling needs and great accommodations for our family of 9…from ages 87-2! Laura is fantastic to work with and communicated well to made sure all of our needs were met. Highly recommend this property!

We had a fantastic stay at Laura’s home! The location is amazing, just a short walk to the beach in a super family-friendly neighborhood. The house itself is exactly as described in the pictures, clean, spacious, and well-maintained.
Laura, the host, is exceptional! She took great care of us throughout our stay, providing timely and helpful communication. She responded quickly to any queries we had and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. While arriving late due to being stuck in traffic, Laura even coordinated the delivery of a scooter we had rented for my dad, which was incredibly thoughtful and accommodating.
Overall, a wonderful experience and we highly recommend this rental! Super pet friendly too!!

The place was beautiful! Loved the backyard oasis. There was a problem with the pool light that didn’t get fixed until later in the week, but the host was nice enough to let us stay an extra night for free because of it!

We’ve been coming to HHI for years and North Forest Beach is, by far, our favorite location. 3 Mallard is charming and in a perfect location, just off beach and a quick walk to shops and restaurants. Laura was a thoughtful, fantastic, communicative host. For those who like to cook, kitchen is very well-appointed. Highly recommend!

Lovely back yard with multiple seating areas, pool, and hot tub, and umbrellas for shade. The kitchen is nicely equipped (we like to cook) with pans for stovetop and oven baking. Plenty of room in bedrooms for our group. Nearby grocery stores and restaurants are within walking distance.

We enjoyed a wonderful 50th. wedding celebration with three families. Laurah answered all our questions before the trip, even arranging for an additional bed for
our 4 year old grandaughter and gifting us wine and balloon. Property as described.

The visit was great overall. The property was well set up and the patio & pool were enjoyable and a good size for our group (6 adults and 2 kids). The communication with the owner was excellent and personable. The humidity has taken its toll on the exterior of the house in some spots, including the raised patio, but that didn’t impact our visit. The price was a little high for the distance from the beach but I suspect we booked at a pricing peak.
All in all, it was a good experience and everyone left happy!

Everything listed in the description is true. We stayed here with my parents, brother, and our family of 4 with 2 dogs and we never felt like we were on top of each other! The pool and hot tub are an added touch to a max of a 5 minute walk to the beach! I felt comfortable walking back with my toddler while everyone else stayed at the beach because it was so close!!

Our family, 3 couples and children 6 yr and 1 year old, all enjoyed the privacy of the backyard to ourselves. Relaxed by the pool with plenty of sitting space for meals outside under umbrella tables. We have rented vacation homes frequently and found this one to have the most things we use provided. This was our first visit to HHI and will be back!

3 Mallard has a great location and a big, fenced in yard with a pool and hot tub. It’s only a short walk to the beach and about a mile to Coligny shops. Feels very peaceful even though you’re so close to everything. We had a wonderful stay and definitely plan to come back! Plenty of space to gather inside and out. The owner, Laura, was wonderful! She sent lots of info about the house and things to do and checked in during our stay to make sure everything was going well. I would definitely recommend!!

My family had a spectacular vacation together at this beautiful home. Ms Laura was amazing to work with and kept in contact even during our stay to make sure everything was going well. The house itself was spacious, comfortable, and has every amenity imaginable. The beds and sofa were cozy, the outside space was a dream. We all really enjoyed the private pool and hot tub. A short stroll to the beach made sunrise every morning even more magical. We truly had the time of our lives with family, this was a dream come true. Great house and location!
This property was a great rental for our family of 6 - 2 adults and 4 teenagers! The kitchen was great and well equipped. The pool and outside seating areas are as lovely as they look! The walk to the beach was easy for my family, but it was hard on my dad and uncle in their late 70’s who were visiting another part of the island (hey, at least they still wanted to go to the beach!) Communication with Laura was fantastic and we knew we were in good hands. The only thing is that I wish we would have brought our own beach chairs. The property lists beach chairs as being provided, but they are actually camp chairs. Still grateful for all of the amenities and welcoming private home! Oh, and the master bed is SUPER comfy! 🧡

Overall a nice property near beach. The rear yard, terrace, and pool with hot tub nice. The entire area was a little "tired" and could stand some TLC. Could never get electronic door lock to work. I expected a nicer place for what I paid

Amazing Vacation
Our vacation at Hilton Head North Forest Beach was wonderful. The house was fantastic and as advertised. The pool was definitely a hit with our 2 kids and the backyard was like an oasis. The house is close to the beach with a short walk. This section of beach is one of the best we have experienced anywhere. The house was well stocked and had everything we needed. The owner was a class act very responsive to us throughout the rental process. One of the best vacations we have ever taken. Highly recommended!!!

Perfect location! Only a 3-4 minute walk to the beach. Located on a quiet, dead-end street. Private backyard. Less than a mile from Coligny Plaza. The house was well stocked with lots of extras. Tons of outdoor seating, beach chairs, pool floats, etc. The inside was spacious and had a nice, open floor plan. Communication with Laura, the owner, was excellent! Would recommend to anyone!

We had a great time here! The hot tub and pool were both favorites, and we used the fire pit and BBQ as well. Plenty of space and a well appointed kitchen.

Wonderful stay!
Comfortable home in walking distance to the beach with an outstanding back yard. Heated pool (useful in October) and plenty of seating for eating and relaxing for 8 of us. Even had inflated pool toys ready for use. Well equipped kitchen/baths.
Good fence so dog was safe there too. We'll go back.

It was a very peaceful and quite place. The backyard is it's own oasis. Beach is only a 4 to 5 min walk (which is beautiful) and you are so close to the Coligny Plaza. This is truly a relaxing getaway. The beach is not open to the public which makes it less crowded and more private. Amazing is all I can say!

Great beach getaway
Laura’s home is a private retreat that’s only 3 minutes from the beach. Perfect location on an uncrowned section of the beach. Plus a very private backyard with pool and hot tub. A 5 minute drive to Coligny plaza shops and restaurants. Open floor plan so family and friends can gather for meals and 4 bedrooms. Our group of 3 couples would definitely rent again.

Great Vacation
We had the greatest vacation! This is the most awesome home. There was plenty of room. Nobody felt crowded. The pool was a bonus, and our entire family enjoyed it. We liked being close to the beach and any activities we wanted. One of our grandsons wanted to stay longer, and both want to come back here next year. That says enough right there!
