House close to shops and which could be pleasant in summer to enjoy the swimming pool. But we had the unpleasant surprise of finding dirty and worn sheets (stains on sheets, hairs in bed, and holes in towels) and a poorly cleaned house. Thankfully the rental company was super responsive and sent someone to clean up the same day. Some things need maintenance (some lightbulbs didn't work, water temperature wasn't constant...). Unfortunately, the house was overpriced.

Nice home, well equipped in a nice neighborhood. The pool was good after a warm day. Pool service came weekly.

Property close to restaurants, grocer, just about everything you could need within walking distance. Weather was beautiful. Kitchen very well equipped. Neighbors were friendly. Located on landing approach to the airport, so at times was noisy. Living room could use more lights. For the most part we’re very happy at Aloha Cottage. We are returning for 8 weeks in 2024.

Property was great. Inside was nicely decorated and furnished. Had everything you could ask for. Hoping to come back when it’s warmer so we can take advantage of the pool. Maybe check the hot water heater. Water was never hot only warm.

Very clean, plenty of room, oh, and did I mention towels, Every size, every color, most of them must be new, every closet was filled over capacity. Only one flaw was that the mattress in the upstairs master bedroom was not that comfortable. I would still rate it a Ten.

The house is conveniently located close to shopping, restaurants and beach. The house was very clean, beautifully decorated with a kitchen well stocked and a nice pool. We really enjoyed our stayed and we are ready to come back.

Second Stay, Great Place
Very nice place to stay in a nice neighborhood. Property is perfect for a small to mid sized group. Enjoyed our stay very much. Could use some new tables/ chairs around the pool, but that was minor and had no impact on the stay.

Perfect pick!
The stay was amazing. Everything was very accommodating and they made sure we had everything we needed plus more. The contact between our host and us was outstanding and the kids LOVED the pool. Kids loved the bunk beds, baby slept in the crib fine, adults loved the bedrooms. It was just a nice place all around and really made it a great vacation!

We really enjoyed our stay. Plenty of room for all of us, the outdoor sitting area was very nice. FYI the outside light switch is in the master. The pool was clean and we all had a great time.

Equipped kitchen was great for cooking. A cozy living area with plenty of seating and a dining table for 6 was helpful for our family of 5. The outdoor space with pool was our favorite place to be. We will be back!

Good choice for a place to stay!
The house is bigger than it looks from the outside. Our family of five had plenty of room to spread out. The pool was a good size for our kids to play in. The house was centrally located, with grocery stores, restaurants, East Beach, the SSI lighthouse, and other destinations not far away by car. The drive to Jekyll Island (with nice beaches that are wider than what you'll find on SSI) was about 35 minutes.

Nice house in good location
This house was exactly what we wanted. My husband & I was wanting the prefect spot to take our kids on a vacation to see my mom. She lives in Brunswick so we was super close to her. The island is beautiful & the house was is a prefect spot to get everywhere with still being in a quiet neighborhood. I would most definitely recommend this property to anyone looking & would stay again.

House was perfect for a weekend break from life. Pool was perfect size. There were quite a few palmetto bugs on the deck at night, however some are expected and the owner advised they would be spraying.

Great family home!
Visited this home back in 2017 and came back in 2021 with my family, and again we all had a great time. Very nice home, we like all the upgrades done to the bathrooms, great location and neighborhood. Only suggestion will be to improve the cleaning or it may be time to do a deep cleaning. The area outside for the trash bins and the trash bins need some washing, and maybe add another trash bin. There was a lot of trash there when we arrived from the other guests and the trash company does not take anything outside the bin. Pool also had some sand inside, and it needed a bit of cleaning. Other than this, it was a great experience, great family home! Thank you.

We really enjoyed the location of this property. Close to grocery store and plenty of restaurants. Swimming pool was awesome to have. Everyone loved it. House had all we needed for a comfortable stay. We were let down with the cleanliness of the house. Very obvious house does not get deep cleaned.

Our favorite place on SSI
We love the Aloha Cottage. It's our second time staying and we will stay again later this summer. Benji and his team are prompt at addressing any questions or issues. The house is fully equipped and the pool is perfect for small children. The proximity to the beach and to stores is a huge plus as traffic's picks up on the island over the summer break. Thank you for another amazing stay!
