Our family of 8, ranging from 18 to 91, had a fantastic weekend in this beautiful house. The neighborhood is lovely, we enjoyed the walks to the beach and on the trails. One can easily tell that the owners really care about their property, it is well maintained, tastefully decorated and very comfortable for everyone! Joe was very responsive and helpful! We would love to return sometime!

We had an awesome time! The house was really nice. We enjoyed our stay. The only thing I might suggest is that the owner but some new bath towels. (the towels were old/worn and there were not enough wash cloths to accommodate our party of 8; house was listed as a house for 10) Other than the towels, everything else was great!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Very comfortable for all four couples. We accidentally locked ourselves out and the owner responded immediately and solved the problem. Our only hiccup was that we did not realize that we needed to bring soap. Would recommend this home to anyone.

Joe and Katie have created a one-of-a-kind, unmatched vacation experience in Rhode Island. From a fully stocked house of essential amenities/cookware to a house design that is perfect for our families there is no detail that is missed. The large backyard, short stroll to the private beach, and 5minute drive to our favorite larger beach (Scarborough) makes for a premier location. This was one of the best home we have stayed in at Scarborough beach. We have 3 children 11 weeks,4 and 8 year olds. We got to celebrate our 8 year olds birthday at the house and it was her favorite memory of the whole vacation. The house is comfortable, clean, and has great space for all 10 of us to gather together at night to play games. We will be back again.

Katie and Joe were excellent hosts. The house was well designed for extended family groups. Katie and Joe gave a lot of thought to items that might be needed to make the vacation stress and glitch free. The neighborhood is quiet and the backyard flat and grassy - perfect for wiffle ball. We preferred going to Scarborough Beach or Wheeler Beach, both less than 3 or 4 miles away. Stop & Shop is nearby. Some great hiking trails along the ocean and wonderful restaurants all make this a terrific place to stay.

We had a great time at the Pottery Barn beach house with our group of lifelong friends for 4th of July week! The house was beautiful & clean, had tons of space, a huge yard for lawn games, and everything we needed for cooking and celebrating the 4th! Harbour Island is a peaceful, adorable escape and we loved exploring the beach area right down the street and escaping to Block Island with just a short drive down to the ferry! We appreciate all of Joe’s communication and helpfulness throughout our stay and felt comfortable and safe. Thanks for allowing us to reunite from all across the country to experience a picturesque New England summer!

This is our second year enjoying Narragansett and this home. Myself, husband, and three kids all had such a blast! The location is perfect for day trips to Block Island, Watch Hill, and we even visited the aquarium in Mystic. When we stayed in Narragansett we spent the days enjoying the beautiful, very family friendly, Roger Wheeler beach. There is minimal traffic and parking is a breeze. One week wasn’t nearly enough so we’re hoping to extend our stay to two weeks next summer!

My blended family had such a wonderful time in this vacation home. It has the best space for a family. Everyone got to scout out their bedrooms which were so spaced out and comfortable. The location of the house with its expansive driveway and proximity to various locales made it ideal. Our host was just amazing. He definitely made us feel like "no worries". It is a wonderful home. Will recommend it to family and friends

Just enjoyed a long weekend for URI graduation. It was the perfect place to relax and convenient to restaurants, Newport, and the college. Everyone had their own space and the house was charming and lovely. Very special!

Very much enjoyed stay at Volpe’s home. It was very well equipped with all the amenities to make it a pleasant visit for all.

First of all, the owners were easy to communicate with and accommodating to our needs. Their home had plenty of beds and towels, and other amenities which made it easier for us flying in from out of state. This home has special touches and so many spaces for hanging out and it truly felt like a home away from home. We were in town for a wedding and the location was perfect for all of the festivities. And only a 35 minute drive to enjoy Newport. We highly recommend this place!

We just love this house! It is very comfortable, the kitchen, as well, equipped, and the beds are most comfortable. The hosts, Joe and Katie, care about your stay, and a great communicator’s. Highly recommend!

House was very comfortable for 8 adults - kitchen had all needed tools condiments to cook meals. Attention to detail had everything you need. Neighborhood was really nice to walk around and watch sunsets - outdoor space very comfortable

The weather was perfection, making everything that much better! The house, location and host were the perfect backdrop to a great girls weekend. I especially loved the fire pit and the finishing touches throughout the house. Thank you for a wonderful stay! Look forward to staying again.

The house was perfect for our needs. Our daughter got married in South Kingstown, RI, at Shepherd's Run, which was only about 10 minutes away. The first floor is mostly open, which allows people to spread out when needed, but also to congregate together in the kitchen/living/dining areas with plenty of space. Having the suite/apartment in the basement was perfect for our son and his wife and infant son to have their own space. The three bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths on the main and second floors seemed to work well for our size group (there is another full bath in the basement suite as well). The third floor bedroom also got used, as we had a full house throughout. The home has everything you need, with a very well equipped kitchen, towels, sheets, essential items to get you going, and outdoor furniture/fire pit to hang out under the stars. The owner was very responsive, and handled the questions we had upon check in and during the weekend very quickly. Couldn't have been a nicer guy too! The neighborhood was nice to walk around, with a short walk down to the private beach. You are also close to pretty much everything you need, with restaurants, coffee shops, Staples, supermarkets, and lots of other things within a 5 minute drive. All in all, a wonderful place for a family getaway. Would definitely stay again if the opportunity arises. Thanks to the Volpe family!

My family of 8 adults and two kids under 3 had a wonderful stay at Joes property! He was responsive and helpful during check-in and throughout our week-long stay. The house was beautiful, clean and fully stocked. Fabulous find!

Our stay in this beautiful home was wonderful. The house was roomy, very nicely decorated, well equipped, and had a lovely yard for the kids to run around and play in. The description of the rental is very accurate. The size of the house was perfect for our family with 6 adults and 5 children ranging from 20 months to 10 years. The location is very convenient to stores, the Block Island Ferry, and 4 public beaches. The children loved Roger Wheeler State Beach because of it's playground and calmer waters that are inside of the breakwater. We really didn't want to leave at the end of our week. Loved this house!

We rented this property for my bachelorette and had an absolute blast! From the initial booking to checkout, Joe and Kait were always available for questions and recommendations within the area! My maid of honor even reached out separately without my knowledge and asked if she could slip in for an early check in to decorate the space and Joe responded immediately! Location is perfect for a quick run to the grocery/liquor store and lots of local restaurants and beach spots! There’s also a short walk to a boat dock nearby that’s perfect for a morning stroll with coffee or a mimosa in hand! The list truly goes on with how perfect this place is! I had friends and family come from multiple states; Texas, Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey and Connecticut and have nothing but good things to say about this property! If you are looking for a relaxing, comforting, coastal stay - this is your place!!!

Had a wonderful week enjoying Joe and Kait’s home, and Narragansett. Had never been to area prior so didn’t know what to expect, and were thrilled with close proximity to Newport, Block Island, and Watch Hill. The Narragansett State beaches were gorgeous, clean, and did not disappoint. The home was well appointed, spacious, and we would certainly return in the future.

This home is beautiful, clean, bright and airy! I felt very much at home here from the moment I entered. The hosts thought of everything you could possibly need. Would definitely recommend staying here. I /we hope to visit again soon!

The house was exactly as described and worked out perfectly for our group of 9 adults. We were very happy with the rental process from start to finish. Joe and Katie obviously take great care of this home and their pride is apparent. If we were to return to the area, we would rent this house again.

We had an amazing time. Joe was very accommodating and his beach house was welcoming. We had many laughs around the large dining room table and just as many by the beautiful gas fire pit. Our 10 person family stayed at Joe and Kaitie's place for a week in mid August and words do not describe how wonderful our vacation was! From the helpful communications with Joe and Kaitie to the incredible location and layout of the property. Some of the best features: The outdoor shower (used all the time), the very short walk to the association beach, the location to so many great state beaches and restaurants, all the amentities provided, the terrific patio and backyard, etc. If you are between multiple places to stay and cab't make up your mind, book this place ASAP to exceed your expectations! We feel we have found our vacation spot for years to come in Rhode Island!

Had a wonderful week in Narragansett at Joe’s place! Wonderful location for basing a full scale exploration of the RI coast - we enjoyed day trips to the fishing docks, beaches, surfing, local hikes, and some great eats - with plenty to do on the island itself in between. Thanks for a great stay!
