We thoroughly enjoyed this beautiful home in Todd, NC. Close enough to Boone, but far enough away to make it feel like a true getaway. The hot tub and view was fantastic!

We stay a short time, every was good, the fans was dirty but everything else was nice and clean

It was a great property, and we had an absolute wonderful time. Other than being in the mountains when the leaves were changing and enjoying the crisp fall air. Gotta say, I was happy as could be when I saw the Rinnai Tankless Hot Water Heater. I have one at my house and you never run out of hot water. With 6 adults, yeah it cannot be beat.

My sister hosted a slumber party bachelorette for me & my closest female friends this past weekend. From all of us having clean & ample separate space to rest and get ready, to being able to return to a cozy & inviting space after a day on the trails and in town, this space was perfect. The kitchen was well stocked, hot tub was in great shape & the beds were all super comfy. This was a great cabin weekend away!

It was great to unwind at the cabin, in the hot tub, and throughout the surrounding area.

We came here for my husband’s 40th birthday and it was in a great location and very beautiful. We’d definitely stay here again. Only con is the house is so noisy you can practically hear each other breathing on various levels of the house. But still enjoyed our time.

Inconsistent Cleanliness, Provisions and Maintenance - Wads of hair on windowsill, bathroom floor and hot tub. No paper towels, limited toilet paper and kitchen and bathroom towels-thin and worn. Handle on door to deck about to fall off, one outside chair had a huge hole and needs to be thrown away, pots and pans in bad shape, one sink in master bath won't drain. Driveway socket doesn't work, so can't charge EV there. It's in a good location and could be a nice house with proper management, though since it's all wood, it's very noisy. Hard to sleep if anyone is talking or walking. As a reference, I have stayed in many homes and never left a negative review.

We had a great stay at this home. Had everything we needed. Great long weekend getaway for our two families with four and six year olds. Very close to tubing/kayaking locations. Game room was an awesome perk. Communication with owner was excellent and made everything easy.

We were looking for a home close to the New River with space for our kids and outdoor spaces. This house was perfect. We loved the porches, hot tub and fire pit. Kids had a great time playing ping pong and darts. Having the downstairs space was perfect for them. The kitchen was well-stocked and had everything we needed. The owner was very responsive and always answered questions so quickly. We loved how well everything was labeled! :) Thank you for a great stay!

The owners communicate well and the property was easy to find and convenient to Boone for our daughter’s graduation. I definitely would recommend this property for anyone wanting a mountain get away.

The cabin was even better than we expected. There was plenty of room for everyone, and it was the cleanest rental we have ever visited. Communication was quick and easy….owners were super nice and responsive. We loved everything about this cabin and can’t wait to make a return visit.

We spent a long weekend here and had a great time. The first floor king was perfect for the grandparents and the game room provided the kids with hours of entertainment. My husband and I liked having a floor to ourselves and we both used the Peloton bike. We enjoyed the hot tub and walking the neighborhood with the dogs. House is 20 minutes from lots of dining options. We had a lovely stay!

Clean! Good time away for two families. Two king beds. The pictured room with two twins has a queen. Boys loved the downstairs game room, didn’t care about the small beds. Bring your own toilet paper, paper towels, and even dishwasher detergent. Hand washed dishes all week - which is good for us! ;) Steep roads neighborhood and driveway - but we wanted the mountains!

First time staying in a cabin in the mountains. Beautiful house and amazing view.

Started with a hurricane, ended with a dusting of snow. Thoroughly enjoyed family time in this cozy cabin!

The cabin is located well in the mountains and is close to Boone and West Jefferson. The cabin is well furnished and comfortable. It has every emintity you need to make the stay relaxing and enjoyable and is also pet friendly. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to get away for a weekend or longer no matter the season.

We had a wonderful stay at Mountain Vista. The home is stocked with everything you might need and the homeowner is extremely friendly. We found the accommodations very comfortable for our large family and we will definitely be returning.

Renting withVRBO is always easy. I will continue to use them. The cabin was very nice and cozy. Very close to many things but most importantly it was close to App State so we could bring our daughter to stay with us and have family time. “Go Mountaineers”

This cabin has the look and feel of a traditional cabin but with all the modern amenities. 3 stories: game room in basement with fusball, ping pong, TV, futon and full bath. 1st floor has large fireplace, surround sound TV, comfy furniture, dining area for 8 plus counter seating. Marble countertops and all the appliances and cookware you may need, plus pantry. Two bedrooms share a nice bath. Upstairs you find a massive master suite with equally nice bath, closet, and king bed. A loft over the first floor serves as office space. The porch swing, outdoor fire pit, wrap porch, outside dining area, patio with lawn furniture all add to the relaxation and ambiance. There are tv’s in all bedrooms. It’s a clean, well-supplied rental that shows the owners care about your comfort as you stay. We loved the little town of Todd a few miles away, and we also enjoyed the 15 or so minute drive to Boone. We would definitely stay again. Many thanks!

Loved the cabin and the location. We were there for the App state game and it was just close enough (about 20 minutes from Boone) to not be inconvenient. Really enjoyed Elk Knob State Park and Blowing Rock. My family loved every minute of it!
