It was great to have the family back together again...

We loved this property! Hosts were attentive and the description was accurate. The only downside was the location of the 2nd bathroom, however this was disclosed in the property details and our family of 8 made it work. The linens, kitchen and living spaces were top notch. We will definitely return!

What an amazing deal in a beautiful town. It fit our family perfectly and was situated so close to everything in Joseph and minutes from Wallowa Lake. We had 5 adults and 2 children so there was room to spare. Everything went smoothly from check in to checkout.

Very roomy and neat property. There were 9 of us and it never felt cramped.
Taking turns for showers or baths was a little bit of a challenge since there was only one full bathroom. We managed and am not complaining since we knew about it beforehand.
Wouldn't mind renting the place again. Owner was always responsive to our questions and that is really appreciated.

This was a perfect location to walk downtown Joseph or drive to spend some time at the lake. The host was very responsive and the property had everything we could have needed. Was an excellent stay and would recommend to others!

We enjoyed our stay. The living room is much bigger and well furnished than the pictures suggest. The kitchen is well appointed.

Often when I book a VRBO (or AbnB), I am nervous and sometimes disappointed with the actual place. Of course, owners like to embellish their precious place.
BUT, the opposite was true here! We were all very impressed with the Balcony View in Joseph. It was larger than we expected, more modern, better beds, cleaner, had a better location, and the views were better (when it wasn't snowing!). I tried to picture the place from the description but it was better! What is there not to like.
Do not be misled that there is a laundromat downstairs - it didn't affect us at all (but it may have been the reason we never ran out of hot water), as it seemed like a different building.
I am looking forward to my next stay at Balcony View!

Great location on the edge of town still places Joseph shops within walking distance while providing quiet respite. Enjoyed the mountain view!
Floorplan with spacious kitchen open to living room is a comfortable environment at any time of day, great for free-flowing conversation.
The only drawback is the slight inconvenience of the 2nd bathroom, but at least it is available.
The hosts were wonderful!

This place was very convenient within walking distance to town and only a short drive to the lake. The house was well stalked with what you may need and the owner was very prompt with any communication.

Very clean, spacious and what I would call a second floor condo. This great place is located on Main Street with a fun balcony over the top of a small laundromat. The laundromat was a surprise to us but not an issue at all. We enjoyed the balcony, the four bedrooms which we filled with family and the open kitchen/dining/family room! There were six adults and three littles here and we had plenty of room! We walked everywhere! If you’re looking for seclusion, not your place. If you want to be a part of it all well, stay here!

We really enjoyed our stay in Joseph and this property was a great location for our family! We had kids staying with us and while it was close to restaurants, shops and bars, it wasn't loud or busy for our little ones to rest and relax. Thanks for a great stay!

Great location, great Kitchen, clean and comfortable
A personal touch in today's modern world. Everything we needed was at our fingertips. The space was cozy but, at the same time it had an open feel. It was easy to find anything you needed-kitchen or bathroom. The beds were so comfortable; it was one of the most comfortable beds that I have ever slept on.
The location was ideal. It was easy to be on your way to the lake or walking distance to anything we needed in Joseph.
The total atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. When it came time to leave we wished we could start all over again.

We had a great time in Wallowa, the house was very clean and nice, spacious open kitchen, it had a view from dining and balcony. Ill definitely come back.

Very spacious and comfortable
Close to the Wallowa Lake, restaurants and shops! Even when it rained we enjoyed the views from all the windows! We can’t wait to visit again.

Family getaway!
Our family really enjoyed our first trip to Joseph! Balcony View was clean and welcoming, perfect for our young kids (3 and 6). Easy walk to all shops and restaurants (and only 2 blocks from the amazing City Park) We had a few smoky days but once things cleared up the views were awesome. Building is older but well cared for, and plenty of laundry capacity downstairs at the laundromat if needed!

Wonderful stay!
The rental was very clean and well taken care of. The owners make an effort to make sure it is well stocked and that you have everything you need. Location is great, can walk to shops and restaurants. My kids enjoyed the train set and other toys in the rental.

Excellent place to stay
We loved this place, very clean, had everything we needed to make ourselves at home. I loved how close it was to town. Plenty of room for everyone and was a very comfortable place (both atmosphere and temperature). We had great communication and felt welcomed with the gift left for us to enjoy on the table when we arrived. We will rent this place again in the future!

Wonderfull!
What a lovely home. Convenient, well furnished with a comfy bed and TV in every room. Open living space on the with gorgeous view of distant mountains. The 2nd floor location mat seem a little inconvenient, but it provides a privacy that you otherwise would get in town. Best of all, the owners were gracious and most helpful.

Peaceful Joseph
Nice quiet stay, watching sunsets from the balcony and sleeping in the comfy beds with air conditioning. What a great place to beat the heat. We’ll be back!

The tree top balcony house.
This place is a nice big space with lots of windows to take in the surrounding beauty. It only has one bathroom though so I wouldn’t recommend it for people who don't know each other really well. Also the floors are super squeaky so light sleepers may be bothered by night time trips to the bathroom. Overall though it was a good experience. The beds are comfy and the house was well stocked with linens and dishes. They also greeted us with some much appreciated wine and cheese. Thank you for a home away from home in beautiful Joseph.

Kitchen was well equipped for meals and grill worked well too. One bathroom was not a huge challenge yet if more people were staying it would have been a problem. Nice to be near downtown and we walked it every day.

Great stay in Joseph
We had a great stay at Joseph, thanks to this property’s cleanliness and location. We stayed for nearly one-week and had access to what we needed. We arrived to a nice complimentary treat that gave us a warm welcome, and our two kids were entertained with some of the nice toys that were available with the property.. All around excellent!

Great stay. No problems with the venue. Plenty of space for parking and downtown was just a five minute or less walk! Would stay there again!

Wonderful place to stay
This is an amazing home in Joseph and has all the amenities to make you feel comfortable while you are exploring Wallowas. This is located in Downtown Joseph which has small town charm all over. The Kitchen is fully equipped to cook elaborate meals and I thoroughly enjoyed doing so. The views from the home are quite impressive. Would love to come back again and stay in this charming place!
