The house was very clean, the beds were comfortable. There was plenty of space for everyone. It’s a very cute and charming house, we loved the shampoo, conditioner and soap that was provided!!

Was close to everything. But perfect if you just wanted to get away. Very roomy . We Loved the balcony looking over the mountains with the creek running behind . We really enjoyed our stay. Would choose it again.

Enjoyed our stay in this cute 1930's home with a beautiful creekside backyard and game cottage. My family loved the convenience of the location on Main St., the game cottage and the lovely deck with mountain views from the upstairs bedroom.

This house was great for 4 of us from the Oregon Nordic Club, close to our other VRBO house. It is quaint, takes you back to the 50s! The beds and the linens were a great touch. I was very impressed with the responsiveness of the host to an issue we had. I wish all hosts were so caring! The location was perfect for us.

This is the second time we have stayed on this property and it was just as good as the first time. The old house is quirky and quaint with all we needed. Location is perfect for walking around town.

We had a wedding to attend outside of Joseph. This location was perfect for us. Great walking distance to downtown Joseph, which is a great community. The house was a great location, with great decor and fabulous charm. The owner was professional and speedy to any needs or questions we had. Would recommend highly.

We stayed here for a girls trip and loved every minute! The location was perfect, the house was gorgeous and full of charm and character. We appreciated the large kitchen for group cooking and the cozy living spaces for relaxing and playing games. The host was responsive and so helpful - even providing local activity options. We would love to stay here again!

It had everything we could ask for. The game room was a big hit, playing table tennis, fooze ball, and darts. So was the record player and the old album especially the CCR album. My granddaughters loved it. Granddaughters even caught a crawdad. Let it go after playing with it. Loved the house.

This house has a great location right on the main street in Joseph. It’s walking distance to the shopping, restaurants, and grocery store. It’s just a quick drive to multiple trailheads into the Eagle Cap Wilderness. The game room is great for the kids, the vinyl collection was fun for the adults, and the creek behind the place added some great ambiance all hours of the day.

House was very comfortable with lots of room. Great location. Beds were very comfy. House had everything that we needed. Kids loved riding bikes.

This house was definitely my style. The decor was eccentric and fun. The only complaint my kids had was how hot the upstairs got. Overall it met our needs though and made my birthday vacation perfect.

We came for a few days leading up to the Fourth of July. I booked somewhat last minute (maybe a month out), so many other options weren’t available, but I was happy to come across the White House Creek. My husband and I, our two teen kids and my parents stayed at the house. The location is extremely convenient with downtown Joseph walkable and a grocery store across the street. We loved the creek out back, back deck off the upstairs bedroom, and game room. We grilled burgers for dinner and appreciated the foil and plastic wrap as well as the grill. The beds, linens and towels were all very nice as stated in the description. The house is stocked with Beecrowbee soaps, room sprays, shampoos and conditioner. These products are sold at a store by the same name in town and are enjoyable, and did not irritate my sensitive skin. One thing that was a surprise was the upstairs bathroom. The toilet room is tiny(a converted closet under the eves). This room was fine for all of us except my husband who is 6’4”. The finishes are cute, the appliances are new, the space is nicely set out. The upstairs room was quite warm but cooled off at night with the windows open. Curtains to close during the day and screens on the windows would be a good idea. The air conditioning kept the house cool downstairs and the window box kept the front room cool upstairs. We had a lovely stay! The owners were extremely great to work with and responded quickly when contacted.

We had a great weekend in Joseph. The house is in a perfect location for walking around town and close to restaurants. Super cozy and comfy beds, pillows, and linens. The locally made soap was nice too. We also enjoyed the record player and records, the creek, and the outdoor seating options. Will responded quickly to questions. We recommend this property and would stay again!

We came to Joseph to celebrate my granddaughters graduation. This charming house exceeded all my expectations... it smelled amazing when we walked in... So clean and fresh. The beds were comfy. The house was well stalked, Creek on property, fire pit, deck. Game room and even bicycles to use. Everything (restraints, grocery and shops) all within walking distance. I would definitely rent this house again.

We wanted a relaxing week to unwind in Oregon’s beautiful Wallowa mountains. Joseph is a wonderful little town with good restaurants and shops and very close to Wallowa Lake and the mountains. The house was charming, clean and very comfortable. It was just my partner and myself, but it was nice to be able to spread out. Great features included a encore player and a respectable collection of vinyl, a great outdoor fire pit with kindling and wood right next to a stream, and a separate game room with football and ping pong available. We want to come back with friends to take advantage of everything the house has to offer. The decor was also tasteful and fun. A pleasant experience all around.

We enjoyed our time here. House is cute and old with personality.

Not as clean & tidy as last year when we stayed. Some of the kitchen handles were sticky, we found a dirty pair of socks under the couch, otherwise we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Plenty of towels, etc. Love the location within walking distance to main part of town.Thank you for allowing us to stay in your lovely home.

A well kept older House with plenty to do for adults and Kids. Ping Pong and I believe Foosball. Big Back yard with a firepit. The stairs going upstairs were a little steep for older folks but had a solid railing to help. I would definitely stay again.

Very cute and perfect amount of space for us. Only downside is that it’s right next to a lumber mill. It was quiet and we had all we needed. Location was great for walks. We’d stay again.

Lovely spot and very convenient to downtown. How about a shelf for visitors to "take a book, leave a book". It would probably need to be "salted" up front with a dozen or so titles, so if one were somewhat trapped inside during inclement weather...it also has a nice ring to the atmosphere. Single pane windows...it's got to take a lot of energy to heat the place. Speaking of windows, the exterior needs some scraping, sanding and painting. One of the first things visitors see as they approach the house is the peeling paint, especially the window sills in front. Other than the above mentioned items, my friends and I enjoyed our time there. The town is lovely and very walkable. The cafes and pubs: good food, but the portions were twice what a normal person would eat.

Perfect, charming house for our week in town for my daughter’s wedding. Everything was exactly as pictured and the s’mores by the fire pit with the creek in the back yard made for perfect evenings. Great communication from our host who went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful!

A combination of antique ambience with modern conveniences. Great location for exploring Joseph and surrounding area.

The house is charming with touches of character only found in old houses. There is a big backyard and a huge separate game room. Of the three bedrooms, though, only the main level bedroom is air conditioned. The two upper bedrooms do not have AC, so they get warm on hot days. There are two large rooms to hang out, so you can invite people to visit you and have plenty of room for entertaining.

Will is a truly exceptional host and this home was a great fit from the moment we walked in. It’s quite spacious and the backyard game room is a fantastic bonus! The secluded feel coupled with being right on Main Street was perfect for our group and we have already rebooked for next year. I also cannot get enough of the toiletries the home is stocked with and have now shopped Will’s store Beecrowbee in person and online. We loved every part of our experience and we look forward to coming back!

This was my second time staying at the White House. It is a jewel. You can amble out the front door and stroll to restaurants, galleries and a local grocery store. One morning while enjoying my coffee in the front yard, a stately gentleman rode by on his horse. My teenagers loved the backyard game house and fire-pit. While we there the "Buck" super-moon rose over the horizon and we enjoyed the spectacle from the top balcony. Quick drive to the lake and wonderous hikes.
