Me and my family had an excellent stay at Splash PCB. The listing did an excellent job of describing the property and Richard was always quick to respond to any questions we had. The beach is terrific and my wife loved having reserved chairs each day, and my kids loved the pools, splash pad and lazy river. I really appreciated having a place in the shade where we could still enjoy being outside. There are tons of restaurants and activities near the condo, and several water sports (jet skis, para-sailing, paddleboards,etc...) for rent right on the beach. A great time was had by all.

The communication process was very smooth. Condo was great with view. The kids enjoyed the splash pad and the beach. It was very convenient to everything.

First time we have used Vrbo. The room was clean and as advertised, the owner was in touched before we left and even called me while we were there to make sure everything was to our liking! Richard was very nice. The room had a beautiful view, weather was great, pools, splash playground was clean. The staff not only at the room but everywhere we went was the nicest Iv ever seen. We will definitely be back!

Great stay at Splash!

We are a family of 5. 3 kids' ages ranged from 13, 11, and 8. Splash condos were perfect for us. You have plenty of options for activities. The beach with 2 lounge chairs and an umbrella available. You check in near the beach in the am for your location. There is a lazy river and 3 other pool areas for the kids to play. There is also a hot tub and splash slides area. Some Splash inner tubs are available in the lazy river. You can bring your own or get some right across the street at Alvin's Island Surf store. You can get other beach accessories and clothes. Condo was on the 8th floor which was a decent floor with the limited elevators and all the traffic. As other reviews stated, there are only 2 elevators for each tower. You need to plan and be prepared to wait and share the elevator. Our visit was in early August and there were a decent amount of people, but peak season may be worse. I would not stay any higher than the 8th floor if there is a need to take the stairs. When arriving luggage carts can be tricky to find. Since many have been used and guests don't return to the proper locations. We found them on our floor, in the garage and in the lobby at times. The condo has a great layout and set up. Showers were nice and big. Washer and Dryer were great to have in the condo. Need to bring or buy detergent to use. Provided one packet. Same for the dish washer. My tip is to buy dawn dish soap and hand soap for the kitchen sink. Some things you just want to do a quick wash. Soap is provided for bathrooms. Walmart and Target are near drive away for a shopping trip. It was great to stock up food and various other items. Richard, the owner, is great to work with and good communicating. Very nice and communicates with you and responds in a timely manner. There is a hut on the beach to pay for activities like parasailing and jet skis. We truly had a wonderful vacation.

Perfect for a young family vacation! We have a toddler who wasn’t always sure about the Ocean, so the pools and waterpark right next to the beach were perfect for going back and forth. It was also so nice to have a set of chairs at the beach each day. The unit was very clean and the 8th floor was the perfect location. The elevators are a little slow, so only having to go to the 8th floor is nice. The balcony view is also so beautiful. Highly recommend this rental! We can’t wait to go back!

The condo was nice & clean. The ocean view was beautiful. We loved the location. It was convenient and not too crowded. It was a family friendly atmosphere. Having beach chairs every day was a real plus. The condo owner was extremely responsive. He is the reason that we booked this condo. We are happy that we did!

The only real issue I had with my stay was the constant wait at the elevator, which was very long most time. Other than that, the stay was mostly very pleasant and relaxed. Definitely recommend.

Property was clean and comfortable, Check in was an easy process, Communication with property manager was fast, friendly and efficient..Would recommend to anyone!

Richard & his condo at Splash was nothing short of wonderful! The process is so easy, the room & view are beautiful, and Richard’s hospitality and communication was great!! We had NO PROBLEMS with the parking or elevators! And the complimentary chairs and umbrella were absolutely perfect! The whole place was spotless and perfect! Please add this stay on your list of upcoming family trips! We will be returning to 805!

Great place lots to do Elevators were somewhat busy but we still had a blast

I can’t say enough good things about the condo itself. Very clean, plenty of towels, all updated appliances and the view was amazing. Kitchen had basic supplies- the only thing I could have used was a pizza cutter and some containers to store left overs or prepared food. The only thing that could have been better about the condo is the balcony could use a good cleaning. Table was very dirty and tons of sand. I felt like we tracked in sand every time we went out. Could benefit from some rugs by the doors maybe. As much as we loved the condo itself I don’t think we will be returning to splash. The elevator wait was crazy fr the time we checked in until the time we left. The wait was crazy with 2 elevators and they unfortunately had to do maintenance on 1 which made the wait time even worse. I am not opposed to the stairs but when you have a stroller and beach stuff it wasn’t so fun.

Great for a family with kids. Will stay here again!

That gives you some peace of mind, and can make a 4-star into a 5-star review. See my advice below my review for anyone staying at Splash in this or another unit (check-in, luggage carts, elevators, beach chairs and more). The unit is nice and stocked well enough. We discovered the coffee maker wasn't working. I let Richard know late Sunday and he had a new one delivered on Monday. We realized the ice maker wasn't making ice. I let Richard know. He said he has a new fridge on order. We just bought a couple of ice trays. The other appliances are already updated, and they worked fine (oven, dishwasher, microwave). Richard includes two beach chairs and an umbrella with the rental that Splash sets up, so you don't need to worry about renting those. Just go to the hut once and they'll hold them for you.ADVICE IF STAYING AT SPLASHAs far as the Splash resort, everyone was very nice. Check-in itself was easy. Go to the desk when you walk in from the parking garage and pay $25. That pays for parking (covered which is nice), and use of the amenities. The pools are great for younger kids, and there's a nice workout room. You may see negative comments about elevators. They could use more, but that's common at a high-rise like this. It was awful at check-in. There were no luggage carts left. We each grabbed a suitcase. The elevators were backed up with people and luggage carts. We walked up the 8 flights (really 9), and I waited until 9:30 when I went to get a cart and the rest of our stuff. I wouldn't want to go higher than 8 floors if you stay there. To avoid the issue at check out, we packed up most stuff and I brought it down around 9:30 the night before to avoid the elevator/luggage cart crunch the next morning. The elevators weren't bad the rest of the time unless a quick storm came up.If you get chairs, I would pick the back row. High tide came under the first two rows a couple of days. I had picked the second row. We could still sit there, but water was under the chairs at times. I'm sure I could have changed. If you bring a tent, it has to be behind the rows of chairs. Finally, you can get some great take-out pizza at Blu Convenience Store & Deli, which is a 4-minute walk from Splash. We also at at Sharky's, which had nice outdoor seating and good food. Get there by 5:00 to avoid a long wait.

Richard, the owner was great. The condo was as promised. The Netflix, two beach chairs were a great add on to the rental. Richard was responsive to all inquiries. The location is a bit leas crowded than the middle of the beach. Our only comment is in regards to the elevators. At full capacity they are hard to catch-we often went down to go up, and vice versa. Key loading times for check in/check out were a little challenging. It is good for families.

Good communication with managers. Good contact with them as well until we got home and wished us the best and looked out and after us. Place was clean and we got chairs and umbrellas. It was out second time being there and everything was perfect but overall very good experience, i would definitely recommend it. Thnk u so much

Our first time at this condo and we enjoyed our stay. Totally recommended it to family and friends . The arcade didn’t work at all which was a bumper to the kids since they were looking forward to playing games and not having to go out and the lazy river wasn’t open due to the construction. But overall, it was nice and easy walk to the beach and not to mention, Alvin's island is just down stair across the street . That was a plus . Elevator was a pain in the butt . Richard was awesome and quick to respond when I email him when the whole condo WiFi was down . He’s such a great and easy guy to talk to. Thanks for such an awesome time .

We absolutely enjoyed our time at the splash condo. The 8th floor directly on the beach is perfect. It especially made it so much easier with the 2 chairs and umbrella that is provided with the condo. It's super clean and had everything we needed. The beds were super comfy and the smart tvs were a plus. Richard called and checked on us several times on our trip to make sure everything was fine, which it was. I did inform him that the washing machine did make a noise but he already mentioned about replacing it. The dishwasher was tricky but it ended up having a time delay and is super quiet. Overall it was easily accessible to everything we needed. We will definitely plan another trip here in the near future.

Richard, the owner and host was wonderful at handling our reservation and was always quick to communicate. The 8th floor unit was perfect for our family of 4. The full hallway bathroom is a major bonus. The bunk beds in the hall and queen sleeper allow for 4 more people outside of the master. The unit is equipped with everything you could need-even a blender. This vacation was for a family reunion. We had family on the 7th floor and the interior stairs made for easy access to the cousins. The kids loved this resort and the amenities of the 2 pools and splash pad. Richard's unit includes 2 beach chairs so you don't have to carry extra chairs in and out. The A/C in the unit worked perfectly and kept the room feeling great. The washer/dryer were a huge help bc we had been traveling for 2 weeks and needed to get some laundry done. There are a few different grocery stores within 5 minute drives. The location of Splash is nearer to the quiet end on the way towards Santa Rosa/Seaside. The only negative is the check-in time on Saturday at 4PM. Literally everyone shows up at 4. We arrived at 5 and it was still chaotic. I can't say for sure if it's better to arrive a lot earlier than 4 to be prepared or to arrive after 6 or so to avoid some of it?? None of the check-in issues are within any of the owner's control-every resort has this happen at check-in on weekends during high season. It's just not easy if you're not prepared. That being said, the minute you unlock the door to this unit and walk out to the patio-all you can see is blue sky and blue water. The check-in is a hiccup in the grand scheme of things. Our thanks to Richard for keeping nice quality bedding, household items and a clean unit. Pride of ownership is apparent.

Microwave stopped working. Washing machine makes loud noise. Dishwasher was not working (I had to call manufacturer to walk me through resetting). Condo was under furnished. The was first trip to Splash over the years where the unit we stayed in did not give us the feeling to return. The unit had the feeling of being very bare. Overall we are pleased with the resort, but not with the condo rented.

Richard, Thank you so much for letting us stay at your condo. We had a fabulous time! Your condo was nice and clean and cool! The beds were very comfortable and we enjoyed watching Large TVs in the bedroom and living room. We loved the location of the condo as they are convenient to a lot of popular eateries and shopping places. We will be visiting again!
