We had the most relaxing stay. It truly is a peaceful retreat!!

The cabin was just as pictured. The property was beautiful with several hiking trails. It was like we were the only people for miles! We didn't get a chance to meet the owners, but the directions were perfect, and the cabin was exactly as we expected it to be. I will definitely stay here again if I am in this neck of the woods.

This was the perfect little cabin. It had everything we needed and it was comfortable. I loved that the property was so dog friendly. The location was great for hiking in the mountains and exploring waterfalls. The host was a very kind and helpful.

We had an excellent getaway to enjoy the last of the fall foliage! This cabin was superb. The location was stunning and secluded and the owners made it all so easy. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!

Once again we had a wonderful time in “ the cabin”. We loved the solitude and having a 360 degree view of pristine woods. Thanks David and Kerry, and we hope to be back in the spring.

The forest is mesmerizing and our entire stay felt like one long meditation. So rejuvenating. Parks and surrounding towns made for great day trips but always so happy to return to that porch!

Cozy, comfortable and much more spacious than we anticipated yet very secluded. Perfect for 2 but can easily accommdate up to 4 without being cramped. Middle of nowhere feel but not more than 15 minutes from anything you might need. The hiking trails are great and beautifully marked so no veering off. We took our dogs and with a little creativity were able to keep them contained on the back deck with no fear of them running off into the woods. A real plus for sure. We went for rest and relaxtion and achieved our goal. Would definitely like to return at some point if we are able. We are in our 70's and appreciated the fact that there are many grab bars in place. Thank God we don't need them yet but you surely never know. I prepared all our meals there and felt kitchen was perfectly functional. Owners are great and overall this was a wonderful little getaway for us. Perfect for nature lovers !

This was our 2nd time staying here. The owner is very nice, the cabin clean and very cozy. 'Love the trails, Pickens area, everything!!

We loved our time here. Nice and clean, very peacefule. We had a fantastic stay and definitely would love to book again. My kids enjoyed the woods, and I much enjoyed coffee on the lovely back porch on the crisp mornings. You cannot find a more lovely rest from busy life!

This was perfect for my husband and I. Nice cabin. Beautiful surroundings. Close to some great hikes. Even had some nice trails on the property where we saw two deer. Love the outside deck in back. Enjoyed all the birds that came to visit once we put seed out. Hummingbird came and buzzed my husband. Next day we put out a hummingbird feeder with 1 to 4 ratio of sugar water and many more came. We loved the evening watching and hearing all the birds. Very private and away from all the noise but close enough to venture to some awesome areas. David was great in checking up on us through the VRBO email all the while giving us privacy. I can tell he is just an all around nice guy. Thanks! We hope will be back!

I had a great week at this property, even though work was super busy and I didn't really have a chance to relax. Thankfully, this simple cabin helped me to relax as much as possible. Everything you need is here and this cabin would be great in the fall. I would love to have hiked some. It is very private!

I stayed in the cabin for just under two weeks, and it was an awesome place to stay! It was quiet and peaceful, and town was just a couple minutes away. The place was clean and fully stocked, and the host was super helpful for the few questions I did have. Overall, Id definitely stay here again!

A quiet, peaceful retreat with drives under an hour to some great climbing. David was awesome and always quick to respond. Looking forward to staying here again!

It was a nice, quiet stay in cute cabin.

We sat out on the back deck with fire in chimnea and it sounded like we were in a jungle with so many birds and jumping squirrels in the trees. Highly recommended, will certainly return.

We love this place! Easy to find and check in. It's secluded and our dogs love listening to nature. We brought charcoal and used the grill, then sat on the back porch and listened to music. The kitchen has everything you would need and there's even a hairdryer and straightener. The trails on the property are well maintained and you can do a short hike or combine them for something longer. We will keep going back!

It is an excellent place for a couple and a pet. very quiet, lots of trees, and superb trails in the property.

Spectacular in its solitude, "green walls" and birds. Just-right rustic, ie, simple but elegant in its own way with amenities that matter to me: wifi, washer/dryer, and windows with screens -- and all the amenities that scores of unspoiled, beloved acres provide.

First time staying at this property. David made the booking and check-in process very smooth. Cabin even nicer than described. Also, a perfect location if you plan to hike Table Rock, Pinnacle Mountain, Sassafras Mountain, Caesar's Head, Jones Gap, etc. Also had the opportunity to walk over the owners' property on their well-maintained and clearly blazed trails. Very pretty piece of land/timberland. As nice as the cabin is, I found myself on the deck for most of the time that we were onsite. Sunsets featured barred owls and horned owls calling, as well as whippoorwills. Lightning bugs came out after dark, and the stars were spectacular. We enjoyed the cast iron chimenea on the deck one night. David has plenty of cut and seasoned wood. Everything you'd need in the kitchen, and the bed was perfect (especially after a couple of 12-15 mile days of hiking). Overall, an outstanding experience with this property. We hope to be back in the fall!

No one around. No light pollution

Bath cabin and property were great, nice and secluded. Ample trails to hike and explore. 1st day not stop rain, but enjoy hearing it on the metal roof. Rain didn't deter us from an evening hike on the trails, they had good drainage and were mostly easy walking. There are a few trees down on one of the trails but easy enough to get around. Spent the next day exploring the area lots to do and see.

We loved the cabin! We loved the beautiful property and the trails on the property! The owner put in great effort to clear and mark them well. He also provided so much great detailed information about everything. We would also recommend the Street Tacos restaurant in Pickens-delicious food. We would love to see how beautiful this area is in the Spring! We highly recommend staying at this peaceful cabin in the woods!

A beautiful cabin located remotely in the woods but still close enough to drive into town quickly. It was quiet, spacious and absolutely the perfect getaway. The kitchen had everything we needed and bed was super comfortable. Thanks for an amazing experience as we welcomed in the New Year!

Everything was as described and me, my daughter and dog had a lot of fun. Surrounded by Great parks and people.

The cabin is very well laid out and comfortable. There is a deck with a chiminea and a woodstove and plenty of wood. It is on a large property with trails. Best of all it is quiet, and there is no light pollution, a rarity and a treat these days.

This was our second time renting the cabin, and had just as good a time as last. We loved hiking the trails and relaxing in such a beautiful setting. Thank you David and Kerry!
