We had a very comfortable stay at villa de paz.

We can’t say enough good things about the property, everything was as pictured/described. Communication with owners & property management was flawless. We would absolutely stay here again. Great private beaches near by where we walked with our coffee in the am (not swimsbke but incredibly peaceful & beautiful). Plenty of room to safely park one or more golf carts, a must if you truly want to explore the whole island & not just downtown. Convenience store less than 100 yards down the road for essentials & a big Walmart type store 5mins away by cart. Can’t say enough good things. AC worked. Mattresses a little soft/old but for 4 nights my back was fine. Rooftop deck was an amazing way to unwind at night.

Great House, great location. The house was perfect for our group of 4. Loved lounging by pool after a beach day in the evening. Sitting outside was nice to play cards and enjoy cocktails. Kitchen was nice to cook a quick breakfast! You will not be disappointed…we will be back.

We loved the house. The pictures do make it look larger than it really is. We enjoyed the pool so much and loved it was cleaned twice a day by the pool guy. The air worked great as it was so hot out. The only thing we wished was the beds were bigger with better blankets. We also got a little freaked out the last night as we saw a lizard running around the walls in our room. I dont do well with animals/bugs where I sleep. It would be really nice if the house owned a golf cart and included it as an optional rental and include the price in the rent. We had to return our cart the night before we left cuz the rental co wasn't open when we left the next morning so we went without transpo the whole evening. Overall loved the property and would stay again.

My husband and I have been coming to Isla Mujeres for ten years! We always stay at the North end of the Island but this time decided to stay Mid island! I must say that this house was the perfect location and distance to the North end. It is a very short golf cart ride to downtown!! The grounds are amazing, theres is a pool that we used three times a day! The rooftop has the best view of the ocean! The owners have thought of everything! They have a cooler to use, beach towels, board games, even sunscreen! I cant thank the owners enough for allowing us to spend such lovely 7 days in their home!! Villa De Paz is the rental we are going to use from now on when on the island!!

Wow! We had an amazing stay at Villa De Paz Isla! This house is a gem -Ed and Cindy you have thought of everything to make your guests feel at home. Check-in with Luis was great. He was very knowledgeable about the house and answered all of our questions. The location of the house is perfect -close to downtown and/ Punta sur. The pool was great to help cool off throughout the day. Beds were comfort and rooms/house were nicely decorated. And the views from the two patios were amazing. We had plenty of room to park our golf cart in the driveway. Unfortunately we lost a day due to flight cancellations and just sad that we couldn’t stay longer! We will definitely be back to stay!!

Awesome house in middle if island. Very convenient location. Had everything we needed for a perfect vacation. Rain made things interesting but Damm that poseidon! Poop was so refreshing after a hot day on the beach. Top deck was perfect to end our night with a adult liquid refreshment. Netflix very helpful for two young adults. Felt safe with gate, and heavy-duty locks. Just book. You won't regret it.

My husband and I loved the house! We stayed for 5 nights with another couple, and it was the perfect size for us! The house was clean, and they’re were a lot of extra things for us to use, like beach towels, kitchen items for cooking, and 3 huge jugs of water, which made our stay that much better. I highly recommend, and hopefully we’ll be back for another visit!

Our family really enjoyed this home. It had everything we needed. It is centrally located and close to markets and restaurants. Our kids loved playing in the pool and watching the iguanas that would visit daily. The home has great rooftop views of the ocean. Awesome place to stay in Isla.

We were very happy with this property and found everyone else's reviews spot on. The location is great for exploring the island. You'll definitely be happy for a golf cart to go to the beach clubs and restaurants while you're there (we loved Captain Dulche, Olivia, Lola Valentina and Mango Cafe for breakfast). You'll have every amenity you'll need, including coffee, which was much appreciated that first morning! The main grocery store is just a five-minute drive away, which was super helpful. The place was so clean and inviting, and I thought the beds were quite comfortable. There is some noise from the street, as noted, but we tuned it out — turning on the shell fountain helped distract from the car noise. The internet was basically out for a few days but I think that was something that affected the whole neighborhood; otherwise, the WiFi was great. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful property! Our family of four had a fabulous time on Isla Mujeres and were not too happy to get back to our subzero temps at home.

Property was fantastic - super safe and awesome mid island location!

If you are looking for a centrally located property with a pool for 2 couples or 4 people look no more. This property is perfectly located and has everything you need! Plenty of parking and an automatic gate to create privacy while in the pool and minimize the street noise. We have stayed at other homes on the island and this one is by far our favorite. Can’t wait to visit again!!

The love in every room was felt throughout the house! So much extras i.e. games, kitchen accessories, pool toys. The street the house is on was very busy and not quiet. It was hard to enjoy the sound of the ocean because of it, but not the worst. The mosquitoes are awful so make sure you bring mosquito spray. The property had some and we also brought some. Overall our 7 days was fabulous and we would stay again. It was lovely!

This house was everything we needed it to be. Convenient location, clean, well appointed, very fair price. Can't ask for much more than that! Would return!

Isla Mujeres is fabulous and so is this home. My daughter and I stayed a week for a workcation. We work for the same company. The home is very comfortable and had everything we needed. Fantastic Wifi. Air Conditioning. 2 big bedrooms and 2 full baths and 1/2 bath, nice sized closets. Big laundry room - only a washer but plenty of room to hang dry and all the detergents provided. Nice sized kitchen and it is fully stocked with all the utensils, pots, pans, blenders, microwave, and all the seasonings you could need as well as coffee stuff. All the towels you could possibly need. I would say the home is comfortable for 4 but not much more. The yard is beautiful with lots of palms and coconut trees. Several Iguanas 2 of which visited regularly - we called them Mork and Mindy. They like watermelon. We rented a golf cart as suggested by the owners. That was a lot of fun. Same with the transport from the airport and the roundtrip ferry. The pool was perfect for hanging out in on a hot day which is almost everyday. Outdoor shower. Privacy fence with gate was great. I felt very safe with us two ladies traveling alone. We used the concierge service to have a few basic groceries delivered the morning before we arrived. We ate out most meals otherwise are ordered delivery. We went to the grocery store to restock once and that was fun. We also used the concierge service to get our COVID tests scheduled for re-entry to the US. We drove all over the island and had so much fun. Playa Norte is amazing, lots of tours to choose from. Just convert you dollar to pesos at the airport. The exchange rate was the same everywhere we went. Marcela and Lupia were super helpful! They answered all of our questions. If you have any hesitation on renting this place, don't! It was fantastic and we will be back!! Stephanie and Andrea

We were lucky to be able to spend time as a family at this amazing house in isla over the Christmas holiday. Beautiful setup comfortable beds and a short golf cart ride to anyplace on the island. I highly recommend the restaurant brisas grill which is a short drive away.

Everything was perfect, communication was easy and we really enjoyed the pool. The location was great, we rented a golf cart and were able to get around very easily because the house is pretty much in the middle of the island. Also, having the electric gate was very convenient. Would definitely stay again!

This place was a paradise inside a paradise! We loved the privacy and the beautiful pool! We got in the pool every single day! It was super clean, and very well equipped! I would look around sometimes and literally think I was in a dream. I can't imagine a better house to spend our 10th anniversary in!

The house was sooo nice!! All the amenities were there. The pool is absolutely gorgeous!! House is decorated so nice!! We are definitely renting again!! People on the island are so nice. We stayed Oct 9th - Oct 12th. We loved staying here. Beautiful House, the location was close to the downtown aeea and beaches and very close to the grocery store. The house had everything we needed and Marcela was great to work with. She showed us around the house on day 1 and responded quickly to emails. Can't wait to book it again.

We absolutely loved the property and it was overall very clean. The floors, however, did not seem to have been cleaned so well from the previous guest and it was about a 20 minutes walk from the center so slightly far out. Also, the WiFi was quite weak and very slow and glitchy. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay for relaxing and I would definitely recommend it!!

We spent a week here and wish we would’ve stayed longer. It was our first non all inclusive vacation to Mexico. This house has everything you need and more! The house looks slightly larger in the pictures but still has more than enough room for 6-7 people. It is well maintained. I literally don’t have any complaints for the stay here. Except for the fact we didn’t stay longer. There’s so much I could write about this place but I will for sure run out of room. If you are having any doubts, just forget about them because you will not find a better stocked and well maintained piece of property on the island. It’s a great location to everything with a short golf cart ride in any direction you can be at the beach, beach combing the rocks, grocery shopping or resturaunts (try pizza mikes), or just relaxing at the beach. We can’t wait for a return trip and are already looking at dates for a longer stay in the future. Thanks so much for sharing this piece of paradise with us. WiFi wasn’t great, but ATT service has greatly improved in the area making it not a worry. Well stocked with any amenities you may need.

My girlfriends and I rented the Villa De Paz Isla and it was beautiful and so clean!!! This was the cleanest rental house we have ever stayed in! The house was perfectly situated on the island to go to either end. With the enclosed gate and walls we felt perfectly safe. The pool with its beautiful water falls was perfect for the hot days. We really enjoyed this house and the island with its many restaurants and shopping. We rented a golf cart and toured the island every day. When the refrigerator started leaking water, they were there immediately to fix it. We enjoyed watching all the iguanas in the yard and the views from the rooftop. I would highly recommend this house!!

Everything we expected!

Great place to stay! The place was very spacious and as pictured. The AC worked great, which was a must for the weather. We had 6 people in our party and there was never a time were we felt too tight. The balcony offered a great view of the ocean and nice breeze to relax at night. The location was conveint to the city as well as the other part of the island for other things to do and see. It was also located like 5 minutes away from the huge Super Walmart type grocery store, which was very nice. The pool was nice and clean and not as warm as I thought it was going to be given directly in the sun and not covered, but it was perfect the entire time we stayed. The only issues we had were with the pool, bugs in the house, no dryer and issues with cleaniness upon arrival. The pools waterfall constantly stopped working, but the house's mainentance team took to it to continue to ensure it was working. There were ants and some other type of flying bugs, maybe mosquitos in the house where we were waking up to bug bites. All windows were closed, so we could not find where things were coming from. There was not a dryer and we had to hang dry our clothes. This is not really convenient when already on vacation and spending this amount of money per night. Our VRBO that was cheaper in the city had both. It would be beneficial to have instead of having to hand dry everything. Finally, upon our arrival, there was a very dirty guest before us. It was so dirty, they couldnt check us in until 3 and they were still there finishing up when we arrived. There was one room where they might not have washed the bedding and it was put back on the bed with some food crudded on it. They did come and re-wash, but that left us to believe that maybe everything wasn't washed. Other than this issue, the maintenance team did a good job in the time they had to clean after the the previous guest mess. Thank you for the stay, we really enjoyed the home.
