There was plenty of space for our entire group to enjoy ourselves. The fireplace was really nice to have as it was cold. We were able to grill out several nights. We had a great time!

We stayed here for three nights, it was great. The main living space is open and inviting, and all the bedrooms were comfortable. There was a minor issue with the dishwasher which the property manager addressed right away. We'd certainly stay here again!

Our family and friends stayed at this property during the Thanksgiving holiday and it had everything that our family needed for a very relaxing and enjoyable time. There was enough beds for everyone and the kitchen had most of the essential cooking utensils we needed to prepare the Thanksgiving meal. Barry and Skylar are great hosts and were exceptionally fast in responding to any questions or requests that we had. I would highly recommend this property to anyone who wanted to stay here and wouldn't mind returning to it in the future, possibly during a different time of the year.

House was well set up for a family use with infants through adults. Deck was spacious and enjoyed by all.

Excellent vacation get-away, quiet location with easy access to all of the necessities. We have never seen so many Deer wandering around homes and there are definitely Bear roaming the area looking for food! The property is very roomy and fully functional for large groups.

The house was perfect for our family of 13 and of all ages, plus a dog. Barry and his son, Skylar, were quick to respond to any questions and concerns we had. They even had their team work late into the evening to address an unexpected air conditioning and a hot tub concern. We had many email and text message communications before our booking of the property and several during the months of waiting for our arrival date. Each inquiry was addressed immediately. The beach was small and it was a walk or drive that did not allow even our teenagers to go alone, and the tennis court was unusable. Those two factors, plus no where to set up badminton or play ball or frisbee was disappointing, but we were able to visit the community next door (Split Rock) that accommodated our outdoor game needs. We also thoroughly enjoyed the wildlife (deer and bear) that came to the property at least twice every day (no joke)! This was an unexpected thrill for young and old in our family. We also enjoyed campfires and the hikes to waterfalls, especially in the Blakeslee county park, and exploring through the community Boulder Fields in Lake Harmony Estates (be sure to wear sturdy protective shoes). We met families of many different nationalities and languages which added to the richness of our daily walks. This is a place of community consisting of many vacation rental homes in a wooded neighborhood setting. If you are looking for privacy, this may not be the best place for you, but if you enjoy a wooded setting with wildlife, neighbors close by, and not mind a walk to the beach across the main road, and appreciate homeowners who care about their guests, then this may be the perfect vacation home for you.

The house is beautiful and well-appointed. It has five bedrooms, so can sleep 10+ easily. Very conveniently located near both Big Boulder and Jack Frost mountains. Perfect for a ski weekend with friends and fam!

We rented the Chalet for a Family Ski Trip during Presidents Week and had an amazing week! The house was big but comfy and had a great layout for kids and adults alike! Master bedroom is HUGE and other bedrooms very comfortable! Barry was a great host and answered any questions quickly via email or text! The kitchen had all the amenities you could wish for, especially if you plan to cook! We enjoyed sitting around the farm table each night and there was plenty of room for all of us! Loved having a wood fireplace as well! Thanks Barry and Skylar for hosting our family! We will definitely book again next time we go to Jack Frost Big Boulder!

We had a great experience! The house was clean and well suited for our family. Kids loved the lower level with games and their own private space. Adults liked the main room with a table large enough for all of us to eat together and space to watch TV and relax.

Barry was easy to communicate with and accommodating. The house was clean and ready for us! Plenty of room to enjoy dinners together at the large kitchen table and game time too. The fireplaces were going, we made s’mores in the outdoor pit and enjoyed the jacuzzi. There was something for everyone.

My family and I had another amazing week in the house (our second year in a row). The house is huge and there was plenty of room for everyone. Barry was very attentive and helpful if we had any questions. Can't wait to visit again. Great family vacation.

Had a wonderful weekend at this home. The hot tub was right off the kitchen porch, which was an ideal location We enjoyed the pool table and also the smart tv’s when it rained Appreciated the beach tags and access to tennis courts too!

We had a great week staying at Barry place. Any text or email sent to Barry he responded right away. The house was very clean and ready to stay in. Plenty of room and really enjoyed the game room. Extra fridge was great for the amount of drinks snd food we had. . Having three bathrooms helped a lot with 13 people. Barry provided us with local activities, place to eat and shopping. The stay at this house was awesome. Had 4 adults and 6 kids with plenty of room. The area itself is beautiful with plenty to do. Everyone left wanting to come back. At one point during the stay the owner contacted us just to see if we needed anything, nothing was needed but was very nice gesture of Barry. Communication with owner was also very good and almost instant when needed. Definitely looking to return in the future. Thumbs up on this one!

My family and I had such a great time here. Barry was a great host. He was always available for anything I needed. The house is super clean, spacious and beautiful. I fell in love with the top bedroom. We were so grateful to be there with this gorgeous weather. We enjoyed two BBQs, the firepit, the hot tub and all the other amenities. We also went on long walks. The area is so friendly and super organized. Thank you so much for making this time so wonderful.

Overall my family had a nice time. However, the house could use some more eating utensils and they were some things that needed fixing-(such as a broken blind, a cracked slab under one bunk bed). We also noticed the house was not extremely clean-when we first arrived, there was dirt in the corners of the floor) In my opinion, the price to rent was high and I expected better house conditions.

Beautiful house with everything you need. The games for the children are a big hit. Also the hot tub right off the living room was the best. I would definitely stay again.

The house was very clean and a perfect setup for our two large families. Barry's description was very accurate, and he was always quick to respond with any questions or concerns. Location was ideal...about 5 minutes from Big Boulder and 10 minutes to Jack Frost. We would absolutely stay here again...highly recommended.

My husband and I stayed at Barry's house for 4 nights with our three boys. The house was just as described. We spent so much time in the game room. My boys loved the pool table and the PacMan game was a huge hit! There are so many bedrooms to choose from. I loved that the master was by itself on the upper level. Beds were comfortable. The house is spacious so if you have a big group, there are plenty of rooms for everybody to spread out. Kitchen was well equipped with all the cooking utensils, which was a plus because my husband and I love cooking. We got to see some deer and turkey, got out for some walks...the area is beautiful. Check in was easy, house was clean, and Barry was very easy to communicate with. I would definitely recommend this house!

My husband and I surprised our littles with a mid-week ski getaway. The house was perfect for our needs and gave us a wonderful opportunity to spend quality time together. We loved relaxing in the hot tub and playing in the game room. There was plenty of space for us and we loved how close we were to the mountain. Barry was an excellent host and responded quickly and efficiently to all of our needs.

I rented this home to throw a surprise 40th birthday party for my girlfriend. We had 14 guests total and everyone loved the house. It was clean and cozy and had something for everyone (fireplace, pool table, hot tub, etc.). The owner (Barry) was incredibly helpful with coordinating the surprise. He gave me restaurant recommendations and offered to let my guests park in another property nearby so she wouldn't see all the cars parked at the house. He even text me over the weekend to see how the surprise went. I can't thank him enough for his hospitality and for making her bday so special. We made some amazing memories this weekend and we're already talking about renting from Barry again in the future.

The property was clean and quiet. The house is HUGE and there was plenty of room for my large multi-generational family. Everyone had an amazing time and we look forward to our next gathering there.
