We couldn’t have found a better place to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary! The views from the house were breathtaking, the location was great and the town of Trinidad was so quaint and peaceful. We enjoyed eating at The Eatery for several meals and pizza from Headies was delicious! The house was perfect, comfy beds and furniture. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

We stayed at this lovely home with our son and his girlfriend. The location was perfect on a quiet street and within walking distance to the grocery store, many restaurants, and the beach. The beds and furniture were super comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. We enjoyed the wood burning stove, decks with gorgeous views of the harbor, and spacious feel of the home. My son and his girlfriend enjoyed the privacy of the downstairs bedroom and we enjoyed the large upstairs suite. The pool table in the garage was an added bonus. We look forward to staying here again.

In one week, we were treated to every imaginablevarsity of costal weather(rain, clouds and sun). The location was excellent. We could walk to the restaurant and store. This house was so beautiful and so comfy. I wish i could live there all the time. short trail to a small beach which was perfect for our dog. everything is close by so walking was our main way of getting around.

We had a great time in Trinidad. The view cannot be beat. Great walk to the beach behind the house and to the local beach with parking. The town is so charming. Plenty of pots and pans and a great kitchen to cook in.

This was our type of “Big Screen” to watch. We arrived the evening of the huge storm with 50mph winds. The house creaked and rattled all night, but as with any well-built house on the coast, it truly weathered the storm. The next morning we awoke from the tempest to out lovely ocean view. Over the next four days that view grew better and better. The house is a perfect place to just relax, read, chat, enjoy a drink, and then take a little walk around Trinidad. We will definitely be back.

Clean as advertised. Location was fantastic with great little trail down to the beach. We actually spent time in the garage playing pool, haven't done that in years. I would go back tomorrow.

We loved every inch of the home and the ocean views are spectacular from the living area and the master bedroom. Our dog loved the deck and running around the house. Our 8 year old granddaughter was enamored with the home and the ping pong table etc. Said it was the best place she had been to. Can walk to the store and lovely shops in town and walking to the beach is very close. Great restaurants In town and a close drive to Arcata which is a fun place. This is one of the best rentals I've ever stayed in. It has incredible views, is clean and well-furnished with comfortable beds and furniture, clear instructions, and everything you could want to make for a fantastic vacation. I especially appreciated that the house was dog-friendly, so my two furry friends could enjoy the beauty of Humboldt County with me. The house felt like home, and I can't wait to return.

Plenty of Dog trials and beaches, Arcata Community forest was great. This home's views can't be beat and I love the location. The home was clean but I do think they would benefit from changing some of the decor that could be dusted bc some there were items pretty covered (seen in previous review). My husband was not fond of the giant plant hanging over his side of the bed but he got over it. Windowsills could use a vacuum of dead bugs. Screens on sliders were pushed out but we notified manager. The bed was very comfortable but creaky when getting up during the night but didn't bother us. Kitchen was very clean and well stocked although we ate out most of the time. The stairs may be steep to some. i think they would benefit from removing the existing area rugs as they were stained and our dogs were dog odors though or hair anywhere so if they changed these out to something that could be laundered might be better. Bedding was great (I looked for tag I liked them so much) couches were comfortable. Plenty of hot water- although the double shower curtain was weird. Maybe a tension rod inside of the window would be better option. There is no back yard and very little grass in front yard. We had asked about this prior to renting and was under thr impression there was a front yard (most is sea grass and bushes). It wasn't as much of a issue though bc you can walk dogs right down the street to grassy area along the street/lighthouse cliffs. This is a nice house in a very quiet location that with some updating and simplifying decor would be amazing. While the price was alittle steep we realize your paying for the view. It's a great dog rental and I would rent it again.

Location was everything !! We loved being close to town and to the beach trail. It gave our teens the opportunity to roam without us and they loved that freedom. Overall vibe of the place was great. It felt relaxed and easy. Quiet and beautiful. We even enjoyed hanging in garage, playing pool and ping pong; all while I was able to do a load of laundry after our Ferm Canyon hike. So EXCELLENT for families with teens! Negatives 1) cleanliness The main things were clean and tidy, so overall it was ok. But sofa still had dog hair from last guest and one of the upholstered chairs smelled terrible and we could not use. Also, every window opened had dead bugs and dirt in sills. The kitchen vent didn't work and coffee maker worked 2 out of 3 mornings. Master bath had no towel bars, no garbage can and the robes provided had makeup and hair on them from previous guests. So those details did deter from my overall comfort, but my kids were happy and we had a great time. Perhaps just a little more attention to details is called for. 2) communications Came through email instead of VRBO app. Which meant they went to my spam folder and I missed them. I prefer to keep all communications in the VRBO app. More streamlined and less to keep track of.
