This is a great house in an excellent location. Walkable to the beach, just across the street. Mike, the host, was attentive even before our trip. For example, he let me know about events happening in Racine the weekend we were coming months before our trip. The house itself is beautiful. Very beachy, by design. Great bedrooms- enough space and setup for two families each with two small children. Lots of beds. The house is also well stocked with plenty of extra supplies and kitchen equipment. There are two dining room tables, which was necessary with several people staying in the same house. Nice porches (covered and outdoor) to enjoy the sunrise over the lake. You can tell the hosts stay there themselves to understand the needs of their house guests- great attention to detail. The backyard is great, equipped with a table, fire pit, and marshmallow roasting sticks for s'mores. We are thankful for Mike's home and would love to come back.

We had a large group stay here for a family reunion and everyone was comfortable. The first floor bedroom and first floor bathroom were great for someone who can’t do a lot of stairs. The furniture was comfortable and the air conditioning kept the house nice and cool when needed. Outdoor spaces were terrific, we really enjoyed using the deck and the backyard with the fire pit. We will definitely come back if we can.

We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary with our four grown children, their spouses, and our four grandchildren. We wanted two separate house near each other by Lake Michigan. This was the house where the two couples with kids, ages 5,4,3 & 2 stayed. It was set up great for kids with a fenced in backyard and plenty of outdoor toys and indoor games. Right across the street and down a hill is a wonderful playground and North Beach. The location was perfect. We were back and forth to the beach and park every day, and it was so convenient. The house has beautiful oak woodwork and craftsman charm. It was helpful to have a bathroom on the main floor. Lots of flexible sleeping options for families with kids. And a fresh Kringle awaited us in the refrigerator when we arrived. Everyone had a great time at this lovely property.

The property is beautiful and very well kept. It was very clean and had a lot of room. The front porch is so inviting and has the most amazing view of Lake Michigan and North Beach. It was an amazing time and we will be back!

This was a great beach front house with plenty of room for me and my friends. The owner was a great communicator too.

Mike was great to work with. We enjoyed being right across from Lake Michigan. The views from both the sunroom and front patio were amazing. We loved seeing all of the sailboats! The beach was very clean and featured a walking path. The property provided beach toys which came in handy. The house is only 30-45 minutes from Milwaukee and is an easy drive. We enjoyed the stained glass in the house. It came exactly as advertised. The 5 rooms vary greatly in size so you can use them to fit your needs. It was a great stay, and I strongly recommend.

As advertised. Clean historical house directly across the street from the beach. Supplied more than standard kitchen, bathroom amenities. Nice selection of games for the family and spaces to either come together or be alone. Nice yard. Quiet at night (but we stayed before summer crowds).

The Racine beach house was an excellent place for our guys golf weekend. Great host, nice clean house.

Thoroughly enjoyed every part of our stay. Many toys and games were provided and kept the kids busy and having fun. We will definitely come back for our next trip to the area. Mike was excellent to work with 😁

The house was beautiful. The view...spectacular. Close to so many things. There was even a small stocked pantry. Will definitely book again.

We got in smoothly, it was very clean and comfortable. Slept 12 without an issue. The views from the front bedroom of the beach and the lake are beautiful. Beach access is right across the street and there is a playground that the grandkids loved.

Waking up to the sun rising over the lake was the highlight of this property. The home was great and conveniently located near town. The property itself was comfortable and perfect for our stay. The front porch and front enclosed porch were bonus spaces where it was great to hang our and spend time with each other. The host was very responsive when I had questions and great to work with. This beach house was fantastic! Mike was great to work with and has a beautiful beach house. It has a ton of charm and character with a lot of extras. Anything we needed was pretty much supplied from beach stuff to fans and outlet sticks. Having a gas grill and wagon to use were great. Plenty of beds that were nice and comfy. The pictures on the listing do not give this home justice. Even though there is not central air the window a/c units did a great job of keeping the home nice and cool. Bonus was they made great white noise machines so I didn't need to use mine.

The location was absolutely perfect, huge home with plenty of beds and air conditioners. Awesome fenced in backyard for smaller kiddos. Loved the 4 seasons room and front deck. Would stay here again!

A group of 7 stayed here and it was the perfect location and setting for a lovely long weekend. Mike was extremely responsive when we had a WiFi issue, and it was resolved immediately. We really enjoyed our stay!

This place is beautiful with dark woodwork, lovely stained glass, and tasteful nautical decor. It was very comfortable, with plenty of room for all 11 of us, including 4 very active preschoolers. The location is ideal, right across from the beach. We couldn't ask for a better weekend getaway.

Sitting on the porch looking at the beautiful beach was amazing. Perfect location to the beach, zoo and shops. We walked everywhere.

We had a 5-star family reunion in this location: meals together on the front porch or across the street on the grass or in the gazebo, all overlooking the peaceful lakefront. The house is old and creaky but the beds are decent and plentiful and best of all, clean. Bring your own soap and shampoo and if you don’t park in the driveway, make sure you park on the correct side of the street on weekday nights per the ordinance. Good communication with owner Mike and everything in order, as expected. Thanks for facilitating a special weekend for us, Mike.

Our family had a fantastic time. We had everything we needed from chairs to sit outside to beach toys for the kids. Beautiful view & perfect location to the beach. Communication was great. Will definitely stay here again.

The house was amazing. Rooms were spacious and charming with much original woodwork, stain glass windows with plenty of air conditioners. We had 10 adults and four kids 5 and under and we never felt crowded. The deck overlooking the beach was wonderful with tables and chairs and a world class view. We went to the beach every day. the sugar said was beautifully groomed and the lake was crystal clear. Highly recommended. We hope to return next year. Thanks Mike and Barb!

The VRBO was AMAZING and I could not ask for a better stay. The place was very nautical and cute which was perfect but there were a lot of dust and spiderwebs around the house.

Perfect house and location for our family that is spread out across the country. Quick access from two airports. Owner was extremely responsive to meet our needs. Best view of the fireworks in the state of WI and best access to the best beach in the state. Lovely neighborhood, close to everything.

My family has buried 3 relatives in 4 months. The last burial was held in Racine, Wi and we needed a place big enough to accommodate family and friends after leaving the cemetery to eat and socialize. I found a beach house that was absolutely wonderful and the owner was very kind and considerate to our needs. We stayed 3 nights and I would absolutely rent the house again or any properties listed by the owner.

We had a fantastic experience in this property. The view cannot be beat and the house is full of character. Mike is an excellent communicator and has thought of every little detail for renters of this property, from power strips/chargers all over the house to portable chairs to take to the beach to a small outdoor shower to rinse off under after visiting the beach. Property is extremely clean and spacious. Would not hesitate to visit again!

The house was perfect for 10 friends looking for a fun weekend! The beach is a short walk across the street and the home had everything we needed.
