Great place just as in the past. Glenn was easy to work with and there if anything was needed. Great time!

This is the second time we stayed at this location. We stayed in Feb. when COVID hit and had to leave early when everything was shutting down. The description of the house is accurate and very comfortable. We are two couples renting the house and the split floor plan provides great privacy for each couple with a great kitchen and living space to be together when we choose. We are kayakers so having the canal to put our kayaks in was great. We had several communications with the owner, Glenn. He was great in all the contacts. We enjoyed the house and area so much that we already have reserved the house for next year and are hoping to make this our go to place each winter.

This is the second time my 2 brothers and 2 nephews have gathered at Glenn’s place in Punta Gorda (ages 75-30). The old folks like to fish/boat and the young guys like to dance. This area offers both. We thoroughly enjoy our stay here and Glenn has been a fantastic host. I can’t give enough praise and the neighbors are very friendly. We come from Connecticut, Kansas,Utah and Florida. So we are very happy to spend time together. Finally a shout out: the Alexa was a great hit! Thanks for the wonderful times.

My husband and I started renting in The Isles 5 years ago. We love it there. The host of this house is super. If you have a question he responds quickly. The pool and lanai were wonderful. Sunsets every night. The house is very roomy, and the kitchen is fully equipped. Will definitely try to book this property again.

This house has everything! The location is wonderful, the neighbors and neighborhood is great, and the house is perfect. Great lanai with a pool and a view of the canal and sunsets. I will definitely book again if it is available.

My family and I stayed at this house for a birthday celebration. It’s just as pictured. The house is super clean. The pool is awesome! There are bikes, kayaks, and fishing poles in the garage to use! The location is close to everything. The owner is super helpful and excellent in communicating prior to and during the stay. We’ll stay there again when we are back in Punta Gorda.

Clean and quiet home great for a couple of adults looking for a relaxing time.

Our family got together from several states, Utah, Kansas, Connecticut and Florida. We were mostly over 60 years old with 2 in their early 30s. Punta Gorda has nightlife for those who are young at heart and love music/dancing. However, be prepared for early evenings. We fully enjoyed the bands at the Tiki bar and highly recommend for all ages. The kitchen and lanai were very roomy for 6 adults and several people in the kitchen. The pool was sooo warm and the dock easily accommodated my brother’s 27‘ boat. We had an awesome time and have many fond memories. We ate out at some fabulous waterfront restaurants and many lovely at home waterfront dining. Glenn, the owner was quick to answer any questions we had. Truly a memorable experience.

We cannot say enough good about this property. The communication was always quick and helpful. The house was very clean (& we are very picky), pool/lanai area was beautiful, and neighborhood was quiet and friendly. Can't wait to stay here again!!

Glenn's rental was above and beyond what was expected. Everything was clean & well maintained; we had a defective light switch I notified Glenn about and he had it replaced within 2 hours. For those of you that are concerned about pool heat throughout March don't be. The solar system is more than adequate. Bev & I highly recommend this rental.

Everything was great on our stay! Property very well kept. Clean! Our family loved the pool and the relaxing atmosphere. Plenty of cooking utensils, more than enough pool toys. Close to good restaurants if you want to go out.

We had one of the most peaceful vacations ever. All we needed was at the house. It was even bigger and prettier than the pictures. Close to the airport and centrally located between several great beaches. Glenn was a fantastic host and answered all of our questions quickly. Not a lot of attractions for distractions but enough to have an enjoyable time.

The property was very clean and well stocked with everything you needed and more. Great communication with owner.

Couch and cushions need to be cleaned; they smelled as did the bedding pillows and bed spreads.

There is not one negative thing I can say about this home. Everything was perfect from the communication with the property owner, the location and cleanliness of the home, to the amenities and overall comfort in the home. The home itself is updated, has an open floor plan, and offers plenty of room and privacy. The large master suite with private en suite was well worth renting this home alone. The king size bed was beyond comfortable and we loved waking up to a view of the pool and canal. The kitchen is fully stocked and offers ample room to entertain and cook, and the property owners allow use of many items in the garage from bikes, and kayaks, to beach chairs and coolers. The pool table was also a big hit with the kids. The sunset view from the lanai surely did not disappoint. We loved this property so much that we are already planning our next visit.

We spent two weeks in this beautiful spacious home. It quickly became one of our favorite rentals, exactly as described. We enjoyed lovely meals by the pool and walks in the quiet neighborhood. For two weeks your lovely home felt like our home. Thank you Glenn!

My husband and I stayed at this rental property home for a week. It is a beautiful home and we honestly felt like it was our “home away from home.” It had everything we needed for a relaxing week. We loved the pool and the overlook of the canal. It was very convenient to things we wanted to do in both Punta Gorda and Sarasota. Thanks Glen for a wonderful stay!!

From beginning to end, this was an excellent experience. The owner was available and responsive before and throughout our stay. House was very comfortable, beds were perfect. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook for ourselves. The pool was the perfect temperature and sparkling clean. Great after a long hot day! We will definitely stay again!

We very much enjoyed our stay at this home! It was in perfect condition and so clean! It offered everything we needed for our stay ~ even a Keurig in the kitchen! It was spacious enough for a our family of six to enjoy our vacation! We very much enjoyed the pool as well as the kayaks and bikes =) The location is great with so many delicious restaurants and fun shopping at Fisherman's Village close by! We were within driving distance of great beaches and family activities, too! If you're looking for a wonderful home at a great price in a nice location, this is it!

We rented this property for the month of March. We have been renting properties for a number of years so we know what to expect from a quality property. This property met our expectations and was a great property for our winter retreat. The split bedroom design allowed privacy for us and our guests when they came to visit. The property and neighborhood are beautiful. We loved being on the canal which allowed us to drop our kayaks into the canal and paddle away to Punta Gorda. We even saw a few dolphins in the canal. The solar heated pool was clean and warm with plenty of pool toys, and the lanai was large . We ate all our dinners outside. The entire house has been updated and the kitchen is huge. All communication with the owner was easy and quick. When we had to cancel and leave early due to the virus, Glenn was responsive and refunded us the money for our last week. The only suggestions I would have is that the living room TV tended to suddenly lose volume on occasion and the kitchen could use a few more basic items. If we were to rent in Punta Gorda we would definitely return. Fred and Diane Wisconsin

WE HAVE RENTED HOMEAWAY PROPERTIES IN FLORIDA FOR THE LAST 11 YEARS, THIS PROPERTY BEST IN CLASS FOR VALUE, LOCATION, AND OVERALL FEATURES. WE WISH IT WAS AVAILABLE FOR 2021, BUT CURRENTLY RENTED FOR OUR DATES.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was clean and comfortable, and extras were provided such as kayaks, bikes, and even a pool table. Great location, in a nice quiet neighborhood. Would highly recommend.
