We had a great time staying here. There was plenty of room in the house and the amenities were great. The pier behind the house was a nice place to hang out and we were able to catch some nice fish.

This is a great property in Nettles Island. There is a great dock on the Indian River that you can fish from with a lot of small snappers, blowfish, and catfish. My 10 year old loved spending time catching them! It is a short walk to the recreation center and pool. It has a large master bedroom with a queen bed and a attached bathroom. The other two bedrooms have two twin beds and share a bathroom. The bath and beach towels were great. There is also a full size washer and dryer upstairs. There is a full array of cookware, settings, and dishwasher. The activity shed in the carport has everything you need for the beach, fishing, grilling, and other activities. If you are looking for a beach vacation, this is a great option for 6 people!

Excellent getaway vacation at this beautiful and well appointed property. This house is the perfect answer for relaxation. We spent most of our time fishing on the private dock, where we encountered everything from dolphins swimming leisurely by us to gorgeous sunsets. We caught many fish; 10 different species during our short stay! Nettles Island is a unique community, where people are very friendly and helpful. Bob, the owner of the home, was an excellent host who was readily available for any questions or concerns. This is our new go to rental property, only a few hours from home. A big thank you to Bob and his staff!

My Family and I stayed at this home for Labor Day weekend. It was very spacious, had everything we needed and the owner always answered his phone whenever we had a question while using his property. The morning sunrise and afternoon sunset views are priceless. Thank you Bob & Patti for sharing your home with my family and I, we had an amazing time creating unforgettable memories.

House was clean, everything you could possibly need for a beach vacation was supplied. I was very impressed with how well the home was stocked with beach equipment, extra linens ect. Have had other family members rent this house and now it was our turn. Did not disappoint. Thank you! Will be returning next year.

We have stayed on Nettles quite a few years now. This was by far the nicest and most comfortable place we have ever rented. The view is spectacular. The pictures don’t do it justice. The beds were comfortable, the living room was spacious, the kitchen had everything you could possibly need. The towels were soft and beautiful as well as beach towels of high-quality. The bedrooms are enormous. Closets everywhere. Full size washer dryer. Updated bathrooms….I could go on forever. Check in was a breeze. We fished and watched dolphins swim by. What a wonderful family vacation! We will be back!

Great house, great view and prompt response from owner!

My extended family and I rented the house so we could all be together for our Grandfather's Memorial service and this place was absolutely perfect! Being right on the water was so beautiful and relaxing and the living area and kitchen were so comfortable and spacious for us all just to spend time together. Bob provided all we needed to enjoy a stay at the beach; fishing rods, bikes, folding chairs, games! They had coffee and condiments ready in the kitchen and plenty of towels and linens throughout the house so we didn't need to stress about anything from the moment we arrived. It made a sad time for my family a really positive experience! Couldn't recommend it enough.

The house is spectacular and the view is unbelievable. The owners are attentive to every detail and have great communication. 3 of our 6 guys stayed at this location for a guys fishing weekend and it was a hit. We could actually fish off the dock!

From the moment I booked this home, there was nothing let to worry about besides showing up and enjoying everything. The check-in process was smooth and Bob sent out an information packet that gave you all of the "need to knows" before you arrive. The home was well stocked with just about anything you could need with extra special touches like travel toiletries in each bathroom, welcome snacks, sun screen, towels, fishing roads, bait buckets, boogie boards, beach chairs, and the list goes on and on. There was a bad storm the night before and it tripped a breaker for the lights in the powder room, but Bob was very prompt with responding to my text and came out to fix it the next day which I told him it wasn't necessary for him to rush. We played basketball, tennis, shuffle board, mini golf and caught some amazing fish off the dock that has the most beautiful sunsets. They do provided multiple different bug sprays and I recommend using them if you want to enjoy listening to the waves in the evening hours. We found the beach pool (directly across the main road) on our last day and it was great. The home is located close to many different activities, jet ski riding in Ft. Peirce, the oceanographic center in Stewart, Saturday morning markets in Ft. Peirce, and so much more. There isn't anything that I could have thought of to make this a better stay except for having more time! I sure hope to be able to book this home again. Thank you Bob and Patti for a wonderful time!!

This property is was wonderful. We needed a place to stay that would comfortably accommodate two of us working remote while enjoying new scenery and this more than accomplished that goal! We loved the setup right on the water! Fishing off the dock, watching the dolphins, and listening to the water was soothing as we worked. The house was beautiful and I’ve never stayed anywhere that was so well stocked. Seriously everything we needed, from fishing pools to beach chairs. The hosts were great and the check-in couldn’t have been easier. We can’t wait to be back!

We loved this place. The views of the river were gorgeous -- make sure you are home for sunsets! I have rented a lot of places over the years and this one was the most well stocked home I have been in. It is very nice to not have to run to the store for everything you have forgotten. Plenty of towels, linens, etc. I highly recommend it.

1108 Nettles Island is a well laid out property that was so comfortable to live in. But the view out of the back of the property or sitting on the dock was unbelievable. Coffee in the morning or enjoying a cocktail and the sunset in the evening couldn’t be beat! I highly recommend this wonderful place.

I have been visiting nettles island for over a decade with family and have rented many different homes along the way. This was by far the best rental I've used! Extremely clean, spacious, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen as well as small welcome details such as toothpaste/brushes and soaps. We loved sitting out on the dock in the mornings and also fished most days right off the back with great luck (snook, catfish, ladyfish, etc). Great response time and helpful owners as well! I would be cautious with very small children as seen the back door/porch is very close to the river wall, but no problem for us adults. If sitting out back at night would recommend grabbing a small light for the back steps in the dark. Overall, wonderful stay, would definitely book again in the future!!

This was our second time staying at Nettles Island. Both times have been wonderful. Everyone there is great, and our accommodations were fabulous. Bob and Patti were quick to respond to any of our questions or concerns. We rate this place as 5 star and would recommend it.

Upon arrival to their beautifully decorated home we were met with a special care package and the home was stocked with everything you would need, should you forget something. After 3 days at Disney decided to come to Nettles Island to relax. This home is beautifully decorated in a beach theme and has everything you could want. We fished, watched 4th of July firework, and had morning coffee on the dock. Also saw family of dolphins swim by. Loved that the bedrooms are upstairs so when the 6 and 8 year olds went to bed they wouldn't be disturbed. We highly recommend this tasteful home and would definitely book again. The children keep asking when are we going back to Florida. Bob and Patti are fabulous hosts!
