This was a beautiful house with the perfect location. Great sunrises over the lake each morning and sunsets in the evening. Perfect distance to and from several golf courses in the area. Definitely will book this same hose again.

we were looking for a house on Lake Marion for a family get together. We wanted access to the lake and golf. The house is spacious and beautifully decorated. It felt like a home not a hotel or condo. Communication with the owner was easy and timely. Golf at Santee National or Wyboo highly recommended. Don't forget to book a wildlife boat tour with Peggy at Santee boat rental! Excellent overall

This home is gorgeous, beautifully decorated with comfy beds and luxurious bed covers (no linens included). We were a family of nine and cooked all of our meals at the house. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of high quality cooking pans, baking pans, pretty serving dishes and glassware plus extra storage containers for leftovers. Great cooking utensils, tools and appliances galore]! If you plan to cook, you need to bring nothing but your food and imagination! The hang out spaces were perfect for our family, we enjoyed the games provided but were sad to learn after our arrival that the kayaks were in the repair shop (and that the "jacuzzi jets are broken" per the sign posted in the master bedroom. These were our only 2 disappointments, that and needing to leave so soon. Would love a later check out option and linen service next time, but I understand that is not always viable for certain properties. Overall, a 10+ stay. Everyone seemed to be able to relax time together and on their own. We never left the property except to get bait and a few more grocery items. We would highly recommend for large family gatherings. Bring your linens, towels and reserve watercraft rentals in advance though!

The property was exactly what is shown in the listing. Great views very nice home and plenty of room. Other than those couple of small issues that the property manager rectified very quickly it was a great stay, and would go there again.

The owner was very quick to respond to any questions and very thorough with instructions. We rented this property to attend a local wedding. This is great for a nice family getaway.

We really enjoyed staying at the house, as one of the guest told me it is one of her favorite houses we have stayed in. Looking forward to staying at your house again.

Great golf pretty views.

Beautiful property with wonderful views of the lake. Spacious house with lot of natural light and comfortable bedrooms. The outdoor fireplace area is also very delightful. We enjoyed very much watching hundreds of birds that came to the lake every morning, an amazing spectacle. We would love to come back again.

Our extended family unexpectedly needed a place to stay for the weekend following the loss of a family member who lived in the area. Our family ranged from 7 months to 73 years. There were 11 of us. We were so thankful to find Angela's home to spend the weekend at. Even though the reason for the reunion was one of loss and sadness, Angela's home allowed us a space to grieve and get away from the world. Angela made check in and out very easy. She was extremely responsive. Her home was large enough to accommodate us all and allow us ample space to gather as a family, but also had space to find solitude if someone needed it. THANK YOU ANGELA for sharing your home on this space and for giving us a much needed retreat from the world. We were blessed to find this home. It really was perfect. We hope to come back next year in remembrance but to also spend some time on the lake and in local area itself. It really is beautiful.

Came to Santee for a family reunion and this allowed us to stay close to family and stay together. Beautiful home and best views around. The weather was great as well.

Great place to spend our annual family vacation! It was so relaxing being right on the water. Lots of room to spread out but also space to be together. We loved the location and the owners were great to work with.

It’s been nearly two and a half years since our family has been able to get together. This was the perfect house and location. We had plenty of room and comfy beds for all. We spent a lot of our time on the lake and in the yard playing with the kids. The poker room was used for games at night and the outdoor fire pit was perfect for roasting marshmallows. We hope to rent again next year!

The property is in a rural area on a beautiful lake. Nearest WalMart is about 20 minutes so stock up - you don't want to have to drive it everyday. The lake was the attraction for us. The water was warm in July, but inviting. There is some lake grass in the shallow area so wear water shoes. The grass diappears in about 4 feet of water. The kids loved jumping from the dock over and over again! We rented a pontoon at a nearby place and cruised the lake in our area. There was not much lake traffic at all though there are many homes around. The house was exactly as advertised. Very good week for us!

ALTHOUGH THE WEATHER WAS NOT GREAT WE HAD A GREAT TIME AND CAUGHT ENOUGH FISH TO HAVE PLENTY TO EAT. LOOKING FORWARD TO NEXT YEAR.
