Beautiful house, tons of space with a big open design great for family gatherings/reunions. Kitchen was immaculately labeled and had everything we needed and more. Spice rack, every pot and pan and piece of plateware imaginable, and generous welcome gifts of snacks of bath products. Whip fast wifi and fun collection of DVDs made our stay modern and nostalgic. Perfect distance from the park, making travel and traffic a breeze (we went in the late October). Host communicated easily and openly, accommodating an earlier check in and even advising tire chains based on the weather forecast-- a proactive tip even though the snow blew over and we didn't need them. Nonetheless, appreciated it. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

When I first considered booking the Copper Bear, it had nothing but a perfect 5 star rating with tons of reviews which I thought was suspect bc I've never seen that before for any vacation property. After staying there for 6 days, its perfect 5-star rating is well deserved. We've stayed in all kinds of vacation homes and this one is on another level. The house is immaculate and perfect for hanging out as family and friends and also have plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen is a chef's dream and great for a group or family dinners. Location is great. You're secluded on a cul-a-sac and a quick 25-min drive down to the valley or Glacier Point. On top of the accommodations, the hospitality of the caretaker and owner are as good as it gets. Always responded quickly to answer questions I had before our stay. Would highly recommend for anyone making a trip to Yosemite that they consider this home. It simply doesn't get any better than this.

The Copper Bear Lodge is a perfect location to explore Yosemite. Located central to everything, the home was well appointed with everything you’d need for your stay. Our party of eight was comfortable throughout our stay. Highly recommend this property during your stay in Yosemite.

The property was awesome. It was clean and well stocked. The host was extremely responsive and offered many useful tips regarding the area. I would definitely stay there again.

If you're planning a visit to Yosemite, you can't do any better than this property. The house is beautiful. It was well stocked with all sorts of food and toiletry essentials, linens, towels, games, puzzles, etc. There is a well appointed kitchen, numerous beds (two sets of bunk beds, two twin beds, and what seemed to be two double beds), a gas fireplace, and a full size washer and dryer. The valley floor is less than 30 minutes away. We loved exploring the park by day and coming home to cook and enjoy the house at night. Our mixed group (adults, kids, and seniors) were delighted and would love to visit again.

This is one of the most beautiful, pristine and stunning homes that my family has ever stayed in and sits perfectly accessable to the majestic Yosemite National Park. The home was fully stocked not missing any details, beyond clean and was an pleasurable experience working with the owner and the caretaker to make our trip nothing short of perfect. We had lovely time at this beautiful home! This is our second stay, and we enjoyed it just as much as the first visit. We stayed during the February winter blizzard 2023, and there was 5+ feet of snow. Most of the park was completely shut down, but we were nice and cozy in this house. The generator came in handy during this storm and the house was well stocked with plenty of games, movies, billiards and the arcade to keep our kids busy. The kitchen is also very well stocked and the entire house is clean and beautiful. The caretaker, Michael was very helpful with road conditions and the owner, Steve was very responsive. Thanks for a lovely visit! We will be back next year!

My family could not have been happier at this property! A perfect respite during a snowstorm, we had loads of games, ample kitchen space to cook, every cooking utensil we might need, and movies for the end of the night. Our only request would be a bluetooth speaker! Otherwise, we were all extremely comfortable.

My husband, 2 of our adult children, and I stayed in this beautiful house for a week. We have never rented a house so well equipped; from kitchen utensils, towels, down to replacement batteries for the smoke detector. It was even better than we had imagined. We hiked every day and it was so nice to have a beautiful & comfortable place to eat, relax, & sleep. The host went above and beyond in providing all we could need or want. Would highly recommend and would love to visit again!

The house was absolutely amazing! It was warm, inviting, spotless and supplied every amenity you could imagine! We did have a little problem with no hot water a couple times and Michael the onsite care taker was Johnny on the spot to help. We also aren't very IT savvy so getting the TV to cooperate with our electronics was a challenge until once again Michael came to the rescue. The location of the house is wonderful although located in a culdesak where there technically are neighbors you still enjoy the peace and serenity of the woods. We even got the opportunity to witness 3 bears walking from the woods next to the house to the culdesak in front of the house. Simply amazing! HIGHLY recommend booking this wonderful retreat away from home!

Excellent trip to Yosemite! This house was clean, incredibly well stocked, and well located to access all that Yosemite has to offer. The games kept the kids busy after hiking and the outdoor spaces offered a welcome respite after a day of exploring. Would highly recommend!

The property is beautiful and has all the amenities needed as well as hospitality gifts which was very thoughtful. It is an easy 20 minute drive from the valley so we were able to go to the valley in the morning and be back at the cabin for dinner. Excellent, Excellent, Excellent!

It was the perfect setting for our vacation: great location on Yosemite grounds, wonderful place to relax and hangout with family between outings and incredible hospitality and amenities! This property was more than we expected. From the moment we opened the door to our home for 4 nights, until we had to say goodbye. The kitchen was completely detailed out with anything you could desire. Everything was well thought through, each room and bathroom with multiple amenities, to the game room & media library. Oh, and the books that we so enjoyed reading on history of Yosemite. I could go on and on, but I will just say that you have hit the jackpot if you're able to secure this property for your next trip to Yosemite!

The experience of staying in this beautiful hunting lodge style cabin home was worth every cent. Every amenity and detail was well thought out and provided - from the welcome basket to the pantry, cleaning supplies, spa amenities, games and DVDs. Lots of consideration went into making this a luxury experience for any family. The home was very clean and welcoming with lots linens, blankets, pillows and towels. Owner and caretaker (on-site) were both very responsive to any questions. We couldn’t be happier with our stay.

This place offers much more than the typical VRBO. It is very well stocked and decorated. Relaxing and lovely all around. We visit Yosemite often and usually stay in The Valley at the Yosemite Lodge. This house was about 100 steps up in pleasurable accommodation.

This is the place where you want to get stuck during a winter storm. The host is extremely responsive. Proactively he sent weather reports, street conditions and activity opportunities. This was the best equipped rental we ever had with a lot of unexpected extras (we stayed over Christmas, the host provided a tree and ornaments). This is where you want to go if you want to be off the grid (no mobile, slow internet, but land line for emergencies). Location is close to a ski area, besides that calculate 30-40 min driving to next shopping. The house is in a cul-de-sac, nice for kids to safely play outside. If we go back to Yosemite, definitely will try to rent it again.

My family stayed in this home for the Thanksgiving holiday and visited Yosemite park. This is a 10 star house. The kitchen is amazingly equipped, and the amenities of the house are very good. The owner went out of his way to make our Thanksgiving wonderful.

This was the most stunning vrbo that we've ever stayed in. The kitchen was fully stocked, with tons of extras which made for a very convenient stay. Need a ziplock, check. Forgot your nail clippers, check. It really was magnificent.

The house was the most well-stocked Vrbo I have stayed in. The owners have thought of everything. Spa and snack baskets greeted us upon our arrival (a lovely touch), there were supplies for every need, and the home was clean and beautiful. We even extended our trip by two days, we were having such a wonderful time! We loved the arcade table, pool table, and decks to view the stars at night. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was very well organized and well stocked. Note that washer/dryer is not available so pack accordingly, however the owners make sure there are plenty of towels, etc. for you entire stay (and then some). We were very impressed by the attention to detail and thoughtfulness put into the home for guests. What a wonderful home to enjoy while exploring the beauty of Yosemite!

Our family stayed at this beautiful home for 5 nights and I can't say enough about how much it added to the overall enjoyment of our trip. We had multiple generations stay and everyone felt very comfortable and at home during our entire visit. After long days out hiking and enjoying the beauty of Yosemite, it was such a treat to come back to a place that was so well appointed, sit on the deck, play games and make family meals together. Located within the park, this beautiful home is nestled into the treetops. From the huge front porch, you can enjoy peace, gorgeous views, and gentle breezes. At night, you've never seen suchclear views of the starry sky. Every trail head and the Yosemite Valley were within 20-30 minute drives. The hosts have thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. The kitchen is better stocked than my own! This is a great property.
