The location was great and the unit was fairly spacious.

The listing was confusing in that it was listed under the “entire place” search function, when in fact there is a second unit (Yosemite Magic Studio B) attached. The unit was dusty, had cobwebs and many spiders, and very old uncomfortable mattresses. Upon arrival, my party accidentally entered Yosemite Magic Studio B, thinking it was part of the unit as a whole. When the party that had reserved Studio B arrived, we quickly vacated Studio B and called the host to inform them of the mistake. We were connected with a very angry and accusatory Vance, who called us rude multiple times, claimed we had entered the studio “on purpose”, and threatened to call the police on our party.

Well stocked kitchen. Carpet and flooring were good.

Queen mattress in the third bedroom (with fireplace) needs replaced. There were huge cobwebs inside on the living room windows which had clearly not been cleaned recently. Also, the main air filter that can clearly be seen on the second floor was filthy. Some kitchen cabinet doors were broken.

The kitchen was nice. The dishes were clean, and there are 2 big ovens which is good for a large group. The host sent very clear and helpful instructions before our stay, so we didn't need to make any extra contact.

The wifi speed was not satisfying (you can connect to the internet, just don't expect to send or receive messages normally), but considering that most areas in the park don't even have signal, this is acceptable. The other thing that bothered us a little bit is the bed in the room on the second floor next to the bathroom. The mattress is too soft, and the bed frame squeaks at every slight move you make.

the host ruined the trip by being extremely rude and unfriendly. We mentioned the heaters in the main area and two of the bedrooms weren’t working and he couldn’t care less.

Lovely home. Very clean, bright and comfortable. Bedrooms were very comfortable. Fantastic and beautiful location. Great base for our adventures in Yosemite Valley and at Badger Pass. Loved that there is a tv room in addition to the living room, after dinner, we could set the kids up with a movie in there and the adults could hang out in the living room talking! Owners also responded quickly when we had a question while at the house.

The kitchen and appliances, washer, dryer were fantastic. Lovely place to spend a holiday or cook a large family meal.

The mattresses could be newer, were a bit lumpy, the rooms were quite spartan with old iron wrought beds, could have been more modern and comfortable.

Yosemite west was burned a few years ago so you can see the huge damage of the forest heading to the house.

The place is incredibly clean and well appointed. They had local coffee beans with a roaster and coffee maker, popcorn, teas, and even hot chocolate. The fridge and freezer were also very clean and had an ice maker which was helpful. The house was large with many fireplaces and great big windows. Brand new flooring, tons of recessed lighting, 3 full baths, and easily could have 4 separate bedrooms (we only used/needed the 3 actual bedrooms.) The location couldn’t be beat. We were IN the park, only 35 minutes from glacier point and 35 minutes in the opposite direction to Yosemite valley. (Whereas if you stayed in Yosemite Valley you’ll be only 10 miles the way the crow flies from from Glacier Point, but you have to go around making it an hour drive.) We all slept incredibly well with large, soft beds. They have ceiling fans and very strong plug in fans for every room. There’s extra bedding, and heaters in the bathroom which was nice early in the morning. There were tons of dishes, cups, utensils, etc. The outdoor space is also really nice. The hosts were incredibly communicative and nice. All around a pleasure! All 3 of us said we would definitely stay here again! We truly couldn’t believe our luck in finding this home. Being in the park made the experience.

The location was within a little over 30 minutes to the best locations in Yosemite. There was plenty of room for the 8 of us. It was a very comfortable and inviting place to come back to after a long day of hiking.

Awesome location in Yosemite West, though a little far in and hard to find in the dark. The house was amazing - spacious, clean and modern. I wish my regular house looked like this! The master bedroom in particular was much more of a stunner than I had expected, and the fireplaces were a wonderful complement. Overall, very well appointed, though we could have used a few extra basic spices/condiments (hard to have to bring everything with us). The host was excellent in providing information ahead of time and responding to my questions (so we could decide what to pack). We had a wonderful stay and wish we could have stayed longer.

The place was wonderful, but we also paid a fairly high rate to stay there. All in all, worth it though - the grandparents loved it.

Everything exceeded my expectations. Location, cleanliness, value, comfort - just can't say enough. Will definitely return!
