Stayed in the sunshine suite. Just big enough for two people but worth it for the location. Toes in the water in 5 minutes. Kailua town is fun too.

Our hosts were helpful, and very nice. The beautiful beach is right across the street from the home with a personal pool in the courtyard. The room was clean and nicely decorated.

The beach was so close and so lovely. Suzie would always be there if we needed anything A bit disappointed that the couch was not a pull out. Would have loved an oven, slow cooker to cook some meals. The pool house was a great idea to have. We would use it before entering our place

Very cute, relaxed property. Nice pool. Excellent location just across from Kailua Beach.

Small apartment style lodging. Plus features: Quite, private, good location. Negative features: Lots of plates and kitchenware but NO sink. Any home cooking has to be on the gas grill. Sleeps 2 on the bed, but any more is on an air mattress.

Cute unit literally across the street from one of the best beaches in all of Hawaii. (Bed is very soft, which is good for some & bad for others). Unit is small but well equipped unless you intend to do major cooking. Has AC but in Nov., the lovely winds were more enjoyable way to cool off. Pool is wonderful; clean, well lit and great size for times you want a dip or something different than ocean. Plenty of grocery stores and restaurants within 5-10 min drive. Nice off street parking. Nice owners! We definitely recommend this unit.

Our efficiency apartment was clean, inviting and quite comfortable. On-site laundry, pool, hot tub and use of so many beach amenities was wonderful.

Zaq and Susie are really wonderful hosts. They are very friendly and showing us super hospitality. Kailua beach park is just the other side of street and Lanikai Beach is walking distance. Air conditioner is a bit lousy but works well. There are a lot of kitchenware and cookers for Breakfast but no sink for cleaning dishes, you can clean it with kitchen paper first and washing in wash room. Swimming pool and Jacuzzi were really nice and comfortable. We enjoyed. Tools are more than enough. Bicycles, Boards, Chairs, Parasols, Goggles, Coolers and so on. Parking is OK unless you rent a F150 or similar size vehicle. Zaq and Susie, thank you for making our stay really comfortable. See you again.

Location could not be better. Very short walk to the beach with all the trimmimgs provided (chairs, umbrella, bikes, wave boards and more), pool to cool off and the nicest hosts. We so enjoyed our stay and will be back!

Perfect solo or couples spot. Quiet neighborhood and right across the beach! Close to all the necessities and easy to find. I’m coming back whenever I stay in Oahu

We had a great time staying at this property! We enjoyed the hot tub every night, and the very short walk to the beach. Also, some of the best coffee in town is in walking distance as well at the market. Also, they were very nice for a quick bite as well. We loved every second of staying here, I would come again!!

We absolutely loved the loaction of the rental it is a short walk to Kailua beach and a short drive to Lanakai beach. My wife and I had a terrific vacation and really enjoyed our stay!

The location could not be better—steps to the most beautiful beach! The pool and the room were sparkling clean. It was just wonderful.

We used to live on O’ahu and visit as often as we can, and Kailua is the place to be if you prefer a quiet, residential area with a gorgeous, calm and easily accessible beach, as opposed to the crowded, charmless accommodations in Waikiki. This was exactly what we were looking for when staying in Kailua, and then some. The unit was spotless, with a very comfortable bed, lots of nice towels, and a mighty little air conditioner which we really appreciated on the hotter days. It did a great job cooling the place down quickly. Hosts were there in person to greet us, and check-in couldn’t have been any easier. The building is set back just a bit from the main drag on a private lane, and felt very secure. We loved the fact that there was on-site parking (not always the case in this area), bikes and beach gear were provided, and the property is literally across the street from Kailua Beach Park, plus a short walk from restaurants, shops, and so on. There is a pool and hot tub, but we didn’t end up using them during our stay. The yard is nicely landscaped, and we enjoyed listening to birds each morning. Hosts provided lots of suggestions for places to eat, and included some restaurant menus in the information binder. The unit is equipped with a mini-fridge, microwave, coffee machine, toaster and blender - not a place to do serious cooking, but good for breakfast and heating leftovers, which was what we had in mind anyways. Hope to return again soon!

Overall great place and great hosts, the one thing I would improve on is the cleanliness all else x awesome!

We loved the location and ease of getting to the beautiful Kailua beach!! We walked to dinner and the market and had a very relaxing time!!

Wonderful location for accessing all Oahu has to offer. Much quieter than the Waikiki Beach area. This place gave us the feel of living like a local. Within walking distance of the beach, shops and restaurants. Our only suggestion is to do a refresh of the unit. The artificial plants were dusty, the ironing board was cracked and we never found the iron. The wicker furniture is cute but collecting dust. The corners of the bathroom looked dirty. This would not deter me from staying again though, just some observations. The hosts were very friendly and responsive. Thank you for sharing your lovely spot with us!

I believe these 2 beaches are close to the most beautiful in the world. The location of the unit was less than 1 block away. Also walking distance from restaurants, shopping and trails. The space was very adequate for 2 adults. The furnishings have seen alot of use. The bed was very comfy.

We had a wonderful stay at this property. Everything we needed for a great stay was provided. The location is fantastic. The beautiful beach is just steps away and Buzz’s Steakhouse is a short walk down the street.

Nice access through park for sunrise/sunset beach walks and just enjoying Kailua beach & surf….short walk to Buzz’s for nice dinner. Enjoyed hot tub a couple evenings under moon surrounded by beautiful vegetation. The week on this side of island with rental Jeep was most enjoyable….trips up coast to Kualoa Ranch and all the way to Pipeline on North Shore. Sunshine Suite was perfect.

Place was as described. Stayed at one of the larger vacation rentals about 10 years ago... it was nice to be ab;e to stay in Kailua again and close to the beach as you can get.

Great hosts. Easy booking and there’s not a better location for beach access. Everything you need is provided. Would definitely stay again

We enjoyed our stay. Overall , very comfortable with an unbeatable location. Would have liked to have had a small table & couple of chairs to eat indoors when it was raining.
