We spent a week at Havana House and very much enjoyed our stay. The view of the ocean was very nice and we were able to walk on the beach each morning. The house was very comfortable and as advertised. The host was very responsive. We hope to enjoy the house again soon.

Great place to stay. Beautiful view from the patio and super close walk to the beach. The mattress in the master bedroom is really comfy. We ended up spending most our time on the patio because the view was so beautiful.

The property is one street from the beach, it allows for dogs and has a very nice view of the water. We did experience a break-in of our vehicle while staying and the property was not clean in one of the showers. The owner did provide a $100 refund as a result of this issue.

We loved the the house it was easy access to the beach. The view from the house was beautiful. The water in Galveston was beautiful all weekend.

Great location and access to the beach! The only issues were having keys instead of code lock and having to keep track of the keys as well as the jets in tub not working. Lots of beach accessories and kitchen well stocked. Quick responses when contacting the owner.

Second stay for us and as great as the first one. Hits all the important notes for us: per friendly, steps from the beach, huge deck with great views, super clean, kitchen is well appointed, lots of hot water, multiple showers downstairs to rinse off after beach, extra pillows in closets, great instructions for entering property, wifi, etc., lots of towels and great washer dryer. And the owner Lisa is very responsive, she helped us out with an issue immediately when we contacted her. Highly recommend.

We love Havana house. If we had anything negative to say it would be that the master bedroom TV never got the channels advertised. The master bathtub is VERY slippery! We had a near fall.

The house was exactly as advertised and in great condition. We were steps away from the beach and had a great view of the beach from the balcony. It wasn’t first row, but it might as well have been. We have stayed in many beach houses in Galveston and this was the best by far. This was also the closest to town, shockingly close. The AC was blistering cold. The kitchen had everything we needed. The bedding was in good/new condition. The TVs were everywhere and the internet connection was awesome. The amount of beach towels provided was insane. The owner was very prompt in responding to any questions. I talked to her once and she was incredibly nice. You can tell she puts a lot of work into making sure everything is great. My family had a great time and made wonderful memories. This will be our go to house for the next trip.

this was our 4th visit to Havana House. We keep coming back because it is a wonderful place to vacation. Good accomodations and private beach away from crowds

Property is on the perfect spot. Walking distance to beach. You can see the beach from the deck and may even be able to get a spot on the beach with direct view to the house.

Unbelievable, jacuzzi tub jets have visible black mold. House smelled musty upon arrival. Had an issue with the garbage disposal so had to clear out cabinet and remove kitchen rug, found mold u der sink and back of rug.

Celebrating my 60th with my special ladies (30's, 40's, 50's, 60's) was the most magical and memorable weekend of my life. The property was portrayed exactly as the online listing pics displayed. More importantly was the location, location and the location. To walk so close with our wagon (chairs, umbrellas, and mimosas) was priceless. Lisa's restaurant/location referrals were a hit with my troupe! Thank you Lisa!

We had a great time with family over the weekend at Havana House...it was so relaxing on the beautiful patio. My only negatives were mold in the coffee pot as it had not been cleaned, the rugs in the living room and kitchen are in need of shampooing and the jets in the master en suite bathroom tub need cleaning. All in all a nice property.

Would stay here again

This was our second stay at this property. The views cannot be beat and we enjoyed it as much as the first time. Our fur babies were welcome and did great. Thanks to Lisa for sharing her home with us!

Excellent response and communication with the owner. Love this house and really appreciated the beautiful Christmas tree. It really made our holiday feel special.

Great place, great location, great time.

As always, we love the location and the deck on this property. This stay was a bit different. The property was not as clean as the previous stays. There was poop under the bench. Don't know if the previous client/s had a pet but definitely poop was on the deck under the bench. There was also bugs in the shower and we couldn't leave the deck patio doors open due to the swam of flies coming in. Maybe this was happening do the weather. It was pretty warm for November. Overall, we still love this rental and would definitely be back. Communication with the host was excellent.

Everything was as advertised. Great location. Ate dinner on the deck two nights listening to the waves and enjoying the view. Perfect place for three guys to chill and only thirty minutes to the Marina.

Can't beat the location, "barefoot distance" to the beach! Had a wonderful end of summer stay with the family. Both my preschool age kids loved it here and we all felt safe and comfortable. Everything you could need in the house and kitchen. Easy to find, check in/out/ and enjoy. Can't wait to come back!

Fabulous in all ways: kind and helpful owner/manager that has thought of everything to make guests comfortable - including great directions for everything from key location to extra bedding. We really appreciated the level of detail. We’ve only seen this at at high end resorts: super clean, new (still in wrapper) sponge in kitchen, plenty of paper towels, extra trash bags, nice shampoo in bathrooms, soft toilet paper, nice quality towels and bedding with extra pillows available, new appliances in kitchen and laundry room, plenty of hot water. The home is well maintained and has quality updates throughout. Fully equipped kitchen with cooking utensils all in great shape. The view is great and can be admired from the spacious terrace. It is partly covered which is perfect to hang out outside all day whether the sun is shining or it’s rainy. Several showers downstairs were so helpful for our group to rinse off in tandem without having to wait too long for your turn. The walk to the beach is very short as the entrance is basically right in front of the property. Definitely planning on coming back!

You can't beat the location, the view, and the value for this 3 bedroom property. Walk back and forth to the beach in under two minutes. Easy to use technology. Clean and functional.

Great location

We had a wonderful week staying here. What a perfect location for a 2nd row beach house. The view was amazing and just a minute walk to the beach. We loved the use of the beach chairs and towels. The master bedroom bed was so comfortable. We will definitely stay here again.
