We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mark's place. Mark was exceptionally helpful, especially when the weather conditions were an issue. We loved the area - not far from Ticonderoga or Bolton Landing. Beautiful Lake views made morning coffee on the deck perfect!

We were so happy with Hilltop Haven. We had a little hiccup at check-in, which was not the Host's fault, and he took care of things quickly. The house itself was fantastic. Comfortable. Fantastic views. Far enough away from the more touristy areas to be peaceful but close enough to get everywhere we wanted to be. This was our first VRBO experience and it was a great one.

Location for us was perfect and the view of the lake was great. Private road and driveway is steep, but wasn’t a problem. Bedrooms were spacious and everything we needed was there. Easy to communicate with Mark and he made sure everything was good

Our host was wonderful and made sure we were set when we checked in. The home was clean, warm and had beautiful views of the lake. I would recommend this as a nice please to stay.

This vacation rental is located at a great location with a beautiful view of the lake from the kitchen and family room. It’s very close to the beach and boat rental places.

We had a wonderful time at Mark’s house in mid-August. We were only there a few days but enjoyed it. We rented a boat one day from the good folks at Dockside Landing Marina (ask for Stephanie), had a swim at Roger’s Rock beach and took a drive down to Bolton Landing. We hit Ft. Ticonderoga as well and soaked up some of the history, while also navigating the corn maze! The house had everything we needed and we were thankful each bedroom had A/C. I’ve rented many houses on VRBO and Mark is definitely the most responsive owner I’ve dealt with, he answered every question promptly and clearly. We had dinner out one night at the Firehouse, where the food and service were good but a bit overpriced. Wind Chill is great for ice cream or a quick bite.

It is one of the few properties to rent in the area but was disappointed for the money charged for very basic accommodations

Mark and his property were wonderful. The view from the deck is amazing and great for dinner. It’s a great location with The Hague public beach just down the road. Ticonderoga is a short drive away for dinner and a tour of the Fort. Communication was great with Mark. Cell service can be limited so save your check in info before you get there. Book this place, it’s great!

Great location with a Lake View!

We had a lovely and peaceful long weekend in Hague at Mark and Linda’s house. The house is spotlessly clean and inviting. The beds are comfortable and have plenty of linens, the house is stocked with many helpful items like detergent, wipes, sunscreen, cleanser, air freshener, etc. The air conditioner units all work very well to cool the rooms, and fans are provided. After days spent swimming, boating, and tubing nearby; walking around quaint Bolton Landing (20 minutes away); and touring Lake George Village (45 minutes away), we would relax in the Adirondack chairs on the deck overlooking the lake, then play board games at the kitchen table or watch TV and relax on the comfy furniture in the living room. We didn’t cook at the house but the kitchen is large and well-stocked. I especially appreciated the washer/dryer on the bedroom level for quick drying of beach towels (also provided) and cleaning of dirty kids’ clothing. The sparkling lake views in the morning are fantastic.

We loved the Lake George house for our holiday week getaway and I'd go back right now if I could. The location, house, and room descriptions were all accurate and we found that the property offered more than expected. My young daughter and I loved nature walks on the wooded trail accessed right behind the house. The lake setting is quite beautiful, day and night. Communication with the host was the best so far in my Vrbo experience. Great start to 2021!

This property had plenty of room for a family of 4 and was close enough to a variety of activities without being in a crowded area. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to cook for our weeklong stay. The house also had plenty of board games for the days we didn’t have a ton planned or for the couple of times it rained. The owner was available for questions throughout the trip and provided great information before our arrival as to businesses and activities being open or closed (due to Covid). He also checked in a few times throughout our stay to make sure we were all set. We will definitely return when we visit the Lake George region.

We enjoyed our stay! The view was great! We spent lots of time on the deck. We were comfortable in the house and the location was really good. The house is not far from Ti and close to Silver Bay! I recommend this fine rental.

It is close enough to visit the Village of Lake George, but far enough that you are away from the tourists. We also enjoyed Bolts Landing which is about 20 minutes south and has nice restaurants and shops. This house has a some nice features which we thought were important- washer/ dryer, full kitchen (well stocked with dishes, pots and pans etc), and awesome deck where you can enjoy full view of the lake, and a great grill and fire pit to make s'mores. Beds were very comfortable, and the master bedroom had a desk looking out over the lake so we could work remotely AND enjoy the view! The owner is very nice and accommodating. They thought of a lot of things like marshmallow sticks for the fire place, a clothing line to hang towels after swimming, and even a crock pot! We had a really wonderful month, and will miss the house and area a lot.

We had a nice week in Hague enjoying lake George. We had family camping at Rogers Rock campground and were able to see them often as it’s just a few miles away. Took a day trip to Ft Ticonderoga - a must see! The house was just what we needed - well kept, spacious, air conditioned, and with gorgeous lake views. The owners were great and reached out a few times during the week to make sure all was good at the house. Thank you!

We had such a great time during our stay. We had everything that we needed. The owner checked in from time to time to ensure that all was well. Perfect size for the family, close to stores and restaurants, but far enough away to see some beautiful sites.

Place is awesome for a family getaway and has everything to be comfortable to spend even a few weeks. Great lake views from every room, large patio with a grill and lots of room and games for the family. Also minutes from Roger's park, which was the best beach on the lake. My family can't wait to be back

The house was very clean. Plenty of room for our family. Kitchen well equipped to prepare breakfast and evening meals. Grill outside met our grilling needs. Beautiful view of lake from front porch. Location close to lots of lake activities. Also close to outlet mall and amusement park. We had a great stay and would highly recommend a stay at this house. Owner contacted us to make sure we had what we needed.

Stayed here for a long weekend with friends. Big and comfortable house, also super clean, can easily sleep 8 people. Great view from the porch on the lake and nice space next house to play badminton. Really nice communication with the owner who quickly answered our questions and needs. I would highly recommend ! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property!

This is a very nice property in a beautiful part of Hague. The deck in the back has a great view of the lake and big wide patio chairs for sitting out and relaxing. Inside the house is beautiful and very comfortable. Mark keeps the bedrooms well stocked with blankets and linens and the kitchen with dishwater, cookware and utensils for the grill. Mark was also very accommodating and helpful with detailed instructions on getting to the house. The house was very quiet but very accessible to a road that takes you right to a lot of great attractions on the lake. We really had no problem finding fun things to do (kayaking, hanging out at a park on the lake) and good food to eat. We couldn't have asked for a better host than Mark and the area and the home made our trip to Lake George absolutely fantastic.

Our family spent a week in this lovely home. Three bedrooms upstairs, two bathrooms, and a living room with lake views through the trees--it was a perfect gathering space for a relaxed family retreat. We BBQ'd every night on the deck, played board games there and at the family table. Had to drive a bit to reach the town of Lake George (45 min) and Bolton (30 min) but was close to Ticonderoga (10 min). Accommodating hosts and pleasant all around.
