The location
The owners and staff could not have been more accommodating.

The location of the boathouse is superb, right on top of Lake George, in a quiet corner near the Sagamore Hotel in Bolton Landing. The building is gorgeous, the owners a total delight, and every single detail that you can ever think you might want in a stay has been thought of, and provided. The breakfasts served were very special and absolutely delicious. It was heavenly from start to end.
It is very hard to think about what might have been better. Perhaps, at a stretch, cookies available in the afternoon? However, everything was quite literally perfect.

I would have preferred a bathroom in my room. That was the only downside of our stay.
