Love walking out and getting on the beach

Great location, just as advertised. Garage was a bit tight, but fortunately there was no one staying in the other unit.

We stayed for 4 nights with our family of 4 children (ages 6-13) and everything was just wonderful! The home was as described, cozy and well-maintained. The absolute best part was the location - far enough south of Belmont that the beach right outside the door was peaceful and quiet, but an easy walk into activity if we wanted it! The layout was perfect for our family and everyone slept great. We had crazy winds and rains one night and couldn't hear a thing in the house, it was incredible. The kitchen was tiny but had everything we needed. The kids absolutely loved all the game options and I loved seeing the moon over the ocean every night and watching the surfers in the morning with a cup of coffee Thanks for a great family vacation!

Check in was super easy. It was very clean. Ample amount of space inside the condo for us. Bedrooms are decent size. A variety of pillows to chose from. Main mattress is on the firmer side. There is no main attached bedroom, The bathtub is an old jacuzzi which is a little hard to get in and out of but the shower is so worth it, great water pressure. The baths come with shampoo, conditioner, body soap. The kitchen is pretty well stocked with most everything one would need. Plenty of seating area. The outside patio is very convenient, it is shared with the unit above but no one was staying there so we had it all to ourselves. They have beach chairs, boogie boards (4) sand toys. The beach was on the quiet side, the sidewalk is right by the patio and constant traffic, but wasn’t noisy. It was about a 5 minute walk to Belmont Park. We drove a Tahoe and it did fit in the garage, but is very tight. If we ever come back to this area would most definitely stay here again.

Went for a graduate school reunion. Was a perfect get away right on the beach. Would highly recommend!

My husband and I attended a conference in San Diego and decided to extend our stay a few days. This was a great location within walking distance to restaurants and shops. The garage was just big enough for our rental car, a Honda Accord. This rental is located right on the beach and boardwalk, which is quite busy, but it provides an easy route for getting around. It was great being able to hear the ocean! The rental was clean and had most everything we wanted. I was impressed at how comfortable the living room furniture was. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The beds are adequate, but not as comfortable as I would have preferred (I'm picky). Body wash, shampoo, conditioner, paper towels, toilet tissue, laundry soap, bath/beach/kitchen towels and washcloths were provided. We would have appreciated hand towels and a pitcher in the kitchen (to make iced tea), but we made do. There is a Keurig for making coffee. Thank you for sharing your home with us! We enjoyed visiting the area.

Overall, great stay. Small issue with the sink backing up, but Jim dealt with it promptly and had great communication. Flexible with letting us have a late checkout. The location is top notch and the unit is comfortable. Would stay again.

View can’t be beat. Very comfortable stay. The place was one of the best stocked houses we have rented and we rent a lot through VRBO. Just like others mentioned, the house is extremely comfortable and great for a family to stay a week. We enjoyed the proximity to Belmont Park. We couldn’t fit in the garage (GMC Sierra) but parking was easy to find close by. We would love to return.

Our travel group of 5 discovered a perfect place to enjoy the beach in San Diego! Easy access to food and coffee, and we watched the Razorbacks at Pennant Sports Bar. Everything was just as listed, we will be back.

Rented the property for 4 days to spend time with my son/wife and our two grandchildren. Location was perfect. Everything we needed was there. We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner outside and never needed to go out to a restaurant. Everything was so casual. Sat outside every morning for the sunrise and every evening for the sunset. All the cooking supplies we needed were provided. We had 2 cars but there was free beach parking no more than 100 steps away and always found a spot without any problem. Great location for the kids as they loved playing in the sand. Owner stopped by to make sure everything was ok and I appreciated it.

This property was very clean and the owner described it perfectly. 2 full bathrooms were convenient since we were 2 couples. The bedrooms were spacious with plenty of closet space. All in all, a great place to stay.

Great location. Plenty of room. All the beach and household supplies you need. Just far enough from Belmont Park to be quiet at night and not crowded on the beach.

This was a very fun place to stay for our weeklong beach vacation! We loved being so close to go to the beach during the day and watch the relaxing waves in the evening.

We enjoyed our stay at the Ocean Breeze Oasis. The owners were very responsive to our questions (which were minimal). The view is GORGEOUS and worth every penny. Our kiddos went to the beach every day of our stay. It is in walking distance of a market and great food options. We would love to stay here again in the future because of its very convenient location and wonderful hosts. Thank you!!

It was a good time.

The location was incredible and the views were awesome. The house was very clean and comfortable for 5 of us. Lots of stuff within walking distance and close to everything. Check-in was easy and everything was as described. Thanks Jim for the wonderful stay.

Overall, we loved our stay at this condo with fabulous access to the beach. Nice patio with dining sets allowed for relaxed views of the wonderfully close beach that still provided a bit of separation from friendly passersby. The photos of these wonderful views and access are accurate. Cozy, inviting spaces. Ice maker, not mentioned in description was a pleasant surprise. Well-stocked kitchen and baths. Beach towels, cozy throw blankets etc. The place is well kept overall and we were comfy and relaxed, but best not to expect perfection. Bathrooms were a bit tricky to sort out, since one is in the hall off the two larger bedrooms (one king and one with set of twin beds) and the other is en suite of the bedroom with the single bed and trundle. But we managed just fine. Super convenient walking access to restaurants, bike rental and market. Really an awesome location. The only disappointment was the amount of work we had to do in preparation for leaving. It meant our last morning, with check out by 10 am, was fully spent washing and folding towels and stripping sheets, emptying the trash throughout the house, sweeping the steps…. It felt like a lot, especially since there was a cleaning crew coming promptly at 10 am. I wish the cleaning wasn’t so heavy on a vacation but we would all happily stay again, even with that factored in.

The location of this property cannot be beat. The view is breathtaking and the large patio was perfect for spending the day at the beach, but not on the sand. Walking distance to all the great bars and restaurants. My girlfriends are even planning to return with our kids. Jim was great and communicative. It had everything we needed for a 5 day stay. The shared garage is tight but works for a compact. Would be harder to get in and out with a truck.

YES! Love staying here. It’s right on the beach, close to Belmont Park, and feels like a home away from home. The accommodations were amazing. Plenty of space for the whole fam and a great living room and kitchen to come together. Can’t wait to come back!!

We really enjoyed the location of this property. It was very clean and comfortable. The check in process was simple. The views of the beach are the best!

This is our second time visiting Mission Beach and we absolutely ADORE this property and its location. The house is laid out perfectly for 2 to 3 couples, and contains everything you need to be comfortable. The solid wall of glass on the ocean side gives you an eye-popping view of the beach, sunsets, and the great people watching along the strand walk. The place was meticulously clean and Jim was such an attentive host. We will be back next year!

This first floor condo was a terrific place to spend 12 nights beside the boardwalk and ocean with family and friends. The condo was very clean, well appointed and was within easy walking distance to many good restaurants and attractions. We would not hesitate to stay there again and would recommend it highly.

A well-loved house right on the beach. We appreciated the proximity to Belmont Park, beach access, and ocean view from the large front room windows. It was just enough room for our family of six (five adults and a two-year old). Please do take note of the size of the garage in the property description and maximum vehicle size that will fit. We rented a Toyota Highlander that fit just right, but a vehicle any larger/longer will not fit.

The house was as stated. Unfortunately it was a cold couple of days and the furnace didn’t work. With that being said Jim tried to fix and had to bring in portable heaters. As a result of not being able to fix Jim compensated me for the inconvenience
