Really enjoyed our stay here. There was construction next door (both sides) which we were unaware of but it was still a very positive experience. Many little details like English speaking TV to watch the World Cup soccer, a good coffee machine, beach toys to use, a very well provisioned, tasteful condo, quick resolution of any questions or concerns. We loved being able to get takeout at nearby restaurants and eating out on the deck overlooking the beach for dinner. Many nice people in the building live there for the winter.

What a fantastic vacation spot this is. The description is just as stated if not better. The location in Bucerías couldn’t be any better. The views from the condo, the walking distance to all restaurants in the market/town Square are all a very easy walk. We were there for two weeks and did not find a restaurant we wouldn’t return to. Bucerias is a wonderful and relatively quiet town with fabulous people. However it’s only a 30 minute taxi ride to Puerto Vallarta if you’re looking for more lively nightlife. The condo itself is very clean and has all the essentials one needs. Besides sleeping, we spent the majority of our time while in the condo, on the beautiful balcony. Early morning with coffee, late afternoon relaxing before heading out to dinner and wind down night time with glass of wine. We alternated between the two balconies as both have unique features. Initially we were be at the condo in the spring of 2021, however, of course Covid hit. Hal and Jill worked with us and allowed us to move the date to 2022. Thank you again for that. Throughout the process, they respond promptly and were extremely helpful. Although we barely watched it, we had a mild problem with the TV, however, it was quickly rectified by Teresa the property manager. She can be very helpful if needed and responds quickly. Will we return? No question about it we are already looking forward to it.

We stayed in the condo for two weeks. We have stayed in the Punta Arena condo complex before, and it is one of our favorites in Bucerias, which is our favorite beach time. The views from the balcony are spectacular, and both the condo property manager Teresa and Punta Arena staff are extremely responsive and helpful. When one of our sister-in-law fell on the stairs, hit her head and broke her arm, Teresa especially, our favorite security guard and a couple of lovely winter residents at the condos jumped into action, got us immediate care and an ambulance and followed up to make sure we had everything she needed. Teresa is a gem - because of this but also she was very responsive to any other needs or requests we had. Our brother-in-law stayed with his injured wife at the local hospital, which is new, very professional and provided excellent care. While those two did miss most of their vacation, they were impressed with the kindness and care they received. The other four of us did take a couple of days for a spectacular boat ride to whale watch and a drive up to San Sebastián (very interesting small town in the hills). The condo had everything we needed except a baking dish of any kind (we wanted to bake a quiche and some brownies for a birthday celebration), so we donated a large glass baking dish (there is a broiler pan, cookie sheet and everything else we wanted). It was extremely convenient that the kitchen sink and refrigerator have filtered water. All communications were excellent, and we appreciate that.

The property is amazing. I have stayed here twice and this time we stayed in a three bedroom. It’s was fabulous!! The property manager Teresa was very helpful. The room was very nice!

We could not have had a more perfect accommodation, location, or well appointed condo. The beds were comfy, plenty of towels, and kitchen ware. The view spectacular and spotted several whales. We arranged airport transportation with property manager which was courteous and on time. Even stopped at the store. Never even needed a taxi after that, all was within walking. Also set up required covid test at CMQ before arrival. We are truly planning our return based on this property availability.

This property exceeded our expectations. It was so much fun to stay in a penthouse unit at Ounta Arena. We enjoyed every minute. The condo is decorated perfectly and the kitchen is fully furnished. Everything we wanted or needed was there. Highly recommend a stay in this great place. You will have a memorable vacation. We love it.

It was perfect for us. It was in walking distance to many places in Bucarius. The condo was beautiful.

After a hot water issue which was addressed quickly we thoroughly enjoyed our week stay. The condo is superb and top notch everything. It does state in the intro letter that nothing is included besides toilet paper, garbage bags and paper toweling to get you started. A few spices, such as salt and pepper, even kept in the fridge for cleanliness sake would be a bit helpful but no biggie. Always must buy these and many are left behind weekly so would be nice if they'd let the previous guest "pay it forward". They state that the housekeeping staff can take the excess which is nice. We have rented in the same building in the past and the other owners even provided shampoo for their guests along with leftover liquor and the other essentials for a one week stay. It would be different if you were staying for a month or so but a short stay is different. None of these were big issues just mentioning for future guests. The location is fantastic for visiting the old and "new" side of Bucerias. Plenty to do in the smallish town and a good jumping off spot for other interests in the area. We would definitely rent at this beautiful spot again.

The unit is well equipped and beautiful. Located within a few short steps to the bridge to the flea market and old town, which has a number of good restaurants etc. The second level with the small pool and sitting area etc.,is very nice except that with the heat and humidity we found it very uncomfortable to enjoy even in the evening. As this is one of the main features of the condo it could be much improved with the addition of some overhead fans or something to move the air.

Just returned from Aqua Azul from a family vacation with my wife, my 3 adult daughters and my son in law. What an amazing property. While clearly the photos in the listing are professionally done, they really don't to the place justice. It's really incredible. The grounds are impeccably maintained and gorgeous. The pool, and beach in front are uncrowded, and inviting. We spent a lot time staying cool in the ocean, the pool, and the plunge pool on the penthouse deck. The location is a great spot to venture off for excursions, central to pretty much everything. We chose Sayulita, fishing, and the Puerta Vallarta malecon, and enjoyed all them. The unit is right in the center of town and walkable to virtually everything. We thoroughly enjoyed a variety of dining, from grilling the fresh fish we caught, to enjoying chicken dinners picked up from a local vendor, to experiencing a number of amazing local restaurants. Hal and Jill give a list of their favorites, and we weren't disappointed. A find we discovered that wasn't on the list was Culi's. Of the main grid a bit, on the other side of highway, but well worth it. Consensus best meal of the trip! Hall and Jill were great to work with throughout the process, as well as the local staff. Property manager Teresa was great and super responsive, and the whole family particularly enjoyed Martin, the night watchman. Overall, an great experience that I would highly recommend!

This is the best VRBO I have stayed at. The property is really amazing, If you are looking for a low key town, Bucerias is it. I hope it can maintain its charm.

Loved this place! Extraordinarily clean, has everything you would need, very convenient to walk to everything, nice furnishings, quiet building, high end finishes, friendly security personnel. It was very hot when we were there so we didn't get to use the outdoor living room on the upper level....but could imagine this would be nice when not so hot. Air conditioners worked well, needed it in June. Took the city bus to WalMart and stocked up on breakfast and lunch items. Also convenient OXXO only one block away for drinks and snacks. Really appreciated the list of recommended restaurants from the owners.....tried several. Loved Toscana Mia (the best), Karen's (cash only) and Sukha (next door). Highly recommend this place for a home away from home feeling. Thanks Hal and Jill!

This condo was perfect. It is nicely decorated and in a great location for walking to shops and restaurants. Infinity pool overlooking the beach was beautiful. We would go back.

We had a wonderful time! Everything about the stay was great! A very safe place to stay. We walked the cobblestone streets at night to the restaurants. The food was fantastic at every place we went. We only went to the restaurants recommended on the list provided! The view from the 2 floors of this penthouse was spectacular! We ate breakfast on the terrace and it felt like heaven. Teresa was very efficient and quickly responded when we needed her.

Really enjoyed the stay in the penthouse. The location was the best for everything right outside the building. Great restaurants, coffee drinks. The owners and management were great to deal with and very responsive. Our grandkids had a wonderful time in the pool.

This is a beautiful, spacious condo in a secure building, great location. The owners are lovely to deal with. I can’t really find much room for improvement!

Our family enjoyed a wonderful holiday at Agua Azul and found it to be a spacious and gracious environment with plenty of room for three adult couples. All of the staff at the Punta Arena complex were friendly, very helpful, and kept everything pristine. Most of our days were spent on the beach but we enjoyed the small town feel of Bucerias in the evenings. We took day trips to San Pancho and Sayulita and were happy to return to quieter Bucerias , sleeping with the doors open and hearing the surf. The proximity to the airport and the larger grocery markets was great. We sampled several local restaurants and our favorite was La Negra. Try the duck tacos!

We stayed 9 nights in this absolutely beautiful Penthouse condo. The condo was sparkling clean and had every amenity you would need for a fabulous stay. We spent many days lounging by the lovely pool and meeting so many of the very friendly condo owners of Punta Arena. Hal and Jill were excellent to communicate with prior to our stay. The property has all we can think and need to make us feel us as at home, we really enjoyed the space and areas, the sunset view from the balcony is phenomenal. The gym very complete and convenient and the infinity pool is amazing to spend all day long!. the place is very secure and very well located in Bucerias town with stores and good restaurants at walking distance. We stayed here in March 2017. From the beginning of our research this condo caught out eye. As we inquired further. Hal and Jill were beyond helpful and just a pleasure to work with. They answered our questions about the area, where to shop eat and see. The condo is location A1 for what we wanted to do and that is to eat and go out for entertainment at night. We stayed 7 nights and never repeated a meal They have created a shared area that contains beach chairs, toys and an pool umbrella that I used every day. Everything you need is supplied. All I brought from home is my coffee and coffee filters. We did not prepare one meal at the condo, but everything you would need is there if you wanted to. They send you an information sheet before you arrive with arrival and departure instructions, area and condo information that we found extremely helpful The satellite TV has numerous English channels for news and sports. We will not hesitate to do this condo in the future and I'm sure we will.

stayed in November 2016. loved the location as it is within walking distance to some of our all time favorite restaurants and art galleries. the condo is very beautifully decorated, something very important to me. great security. loved this so much we've decided to buy in the area!!

Loved the town of Bucerias and the condo. Much nicer than Puerto Vallarata and no crowds. The town square is a great place to stroll, eat and drink. The restaurants were great and the locals were very friendly. Never going back to Puerto Vallarta after visting Bucerias. The condo was roomy, clean and well equipped. The WiFi did not work but I sent an email to the owners and they promptly contacted the property manager and had the WiFi up and working the next day. We will be back.

My two sisters and I (all active seniors) spent a wonderful week staying at Agua Azul! This fabulous condo is exactly as described and pictured on the VRBO site. It is very spacious, comfortable, well equipped, and beautifully decorated. The view from both terraces is amazing! And the location can't be beat......right on the ocean for leisurely beach walks but only a five minute walk to the town market, shops, and several terrific restaurants. Jill and Hal were wonderful to deal with and did everything they could to ensure we had a great vacation. We have already re-booked for 2017!
