Nice home with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. Great AC and WiFi with a wonderful pool and views. Charlie checked in with us multiple times and is a wonderful host but we had no problems!

Borrego Springs was a great winter getaway for us. This house was well equipped and comfortable for 2 senior couples. Charlie was helpful. The facility was clean, well furnished and comfortable.

So impressed with this lovely one story desert home. Well appointed from the kitchen to the bathroom! Comfortable bed! Owner Charley was very responsive. Lovely country club neighborhood to take walks or bike around. Very relaxing. Only drawback and it's not a big one is the long time it took for the water to become hot in the shower...

We love Borrego Springs. We are from Tennessee and our daughter and son in love live in San Diego with our grand dog Panda. Whenever we get the chance to visit the desert we come to Borrego Springs. This is our third trip out here. Charlie's home is simply beautiful and perfect for a desert getaway. It was super hot here which of course we expected --so the pool was used to the max! Enjoyed the lush greenery of the palm trees and the desert vegetation as well as the golf course beauty. Our little French Corgi Grand dog Panda absolutely had a blast ! One night we had a sudden unexpected massive wind/storm sandstorml. It didn't rain here but it sure did cool things down dramatically. We grilled out both nights. One morning we took a short trip to the iron sculptures which are very close to the house. We are definitely going to plan a winter getaway and hopefully come back in February on March 2022 so our son-in-law can actually play some golf. It was very peaceful quiet and so relaxing. We loved the millions of stars at night and even saw the Milky Way! Charlie's home is by far the best we have stayed in while in Borrego. He was even kind enough to let us check in early on our first day here. We could only stay two nights and wished we could have stayed longer. Charlie is very easy to work with and very responsive on communications and everything was wonderful. The only thing we recommend is that you bring your own bag of ice because the ice maker was not producing ice. We brought most everything we needed but there's a wonderful market not very far from the house that has just about everything you could possibly need. The house was very clean and nicely decorated. Wish we wish we could live here!!!! It truly was a wonderful getaway!

House was nice inside. Very clean. Awesome kitchen with everything you would need for cooking any meal. Bed was comfortable. One bedroom was cooler overall which in the summer is important. Outside front patio was very nice in the morning to sit and have coffee and watch the sun come over the hill to the east. Pool area was nice, plenty of furniture available. Only negative thing and this is not really Charlie’s fault was the pool was dirty, now the week that we were there the area was getting some summer storms roll through and there was wind every day so we had to skim the pool before we could use it everyday. Not a big deal. We have stayed at about 8 properties in Borrego and this is our new favorite. Will be back.

As regular visitors to Borrego Springs it is always good to have places to add to the list of recommended bolt holes. This house is well-equipped with kitchen appliances, powerful AC and expansive wi-fi - three essentials for any property me and my family are visiting. At the heart of the home is the open kitchen and living room/dining room area. Each of the two spacious ensuite bedrooms sit on either side of the living area and provide privacy for kids or couples. The host is responsive and helpful, as required. While the home sits adjacent to a golf course we did not see a single player during our three day stay. There are many positives about the property and it offers a comfortable base for anyone wanting to explore the beautiful desert surroundings. One minor quibble is that the pool is a bit of a debris magnet, attracting fallen leaves, insects and general grunge, especially when the wind gets up. However, I should note, it was clean on arrival and the prevailing weather (it was windy) was the cause not the owner's lack of care and attention. Would happily return.

We planned a 2-night trip to Borrego Springs on Dec 13-15 to see the meteor shower. The house is gorgeous and wonderfully appointed. It seems like the owners spared no expense. To say we were comfortable is an understatement. They have everything you need to make yourself at home. The front and back yards are very spacious and perfect for stargazing. Lots of patio furniture. The backyard looks into a golf course. It is super quiet and very calm environment. The cleanliness is second to none. The cleaners did a wonderful job, especially in terms of COVID cleaning. They did a very thorough job. We had a mishap (long story, but basically not the owner's fault - the people before us "forgot" to leave and the owner could not get in touch with them until about 3 pm). Charlie, the owner, put us up at the Borrego Springs Resort for 1 night and got us into his property early the next day. He was in touch with us the whole time, was super gracious and generous. Even bought us breakfast and a bottle of wine. He also let us stay an extra night at this house since he was able to at no cost. I would definitely stay here again! Thank you Charlie for a wonderful vacation.

We absolutely loved this property. We were worried about the heat because of going in July, but the pool really kept us cool! It is also only a two minute drive to the Iron Sculptures. We would love to stay here again. : )

Really enjoyed our stay in Borrego. The place is great, the views are gorgeous and the weather is hot! Oh, and awesome pool. Charlie was wonderful to coordinate with and very easy to contact. Stay here!

Great stay, wonderful pool home, very quite neighborhood on the Golf Course. Property was set up perfectly for our family’s needs. Loved how open the home was and the bedrooms large with their own bathrooms. Great kitchen with everything you need. Very relaxing. Great communication with with the home owner. We will be sure to visit again.

The house was spotless when we arrived. We spent most of our time outside by the pool and even though it was very hot we could always find shade on one of the patios. This is one of our favorite properties in Borrego Springs!

Great place to relax and unwind.

Thank you for sharing this special home. It was serene, private and easy. We enjoyed rare rainstorms followed by rainbows and views out to snow-covered mountains. The kitchen was fantastic. We cooked all three nights and appreciated that it had anything a cook could need from a blender to a salad spinner.

We made our first trip to Anza Borrego to check out the night skies and metal sculptures. We found the house very comfortable with everything we needed. And the location was close and easy to get to town. I had contact with the owner several times and he was always responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay in this property again if we returned.

This is a lovely home, well equipped with just everything you would need, great layout, great location (except why does the De Anza golf club water before the sun goes down and why do they water on the pavement??).

The owner was always accessible and made sure to check in on us thru out or stay. The home was perfect for the short getaway we expected from the scenic mountain views to the refreshing pool. It was just my wife and but this would be the perfect home for two couple as the rooms are on separate sides of the home and each has their own bathrooms. Would definitely return for a second stay.

This is the 2nd time my wife and I have stayed at this property, and we've thoroughly enjoyed each experience. Charlie is EXTREMELY personable, helpful, and makes sure our stay is trouble free. The house itself is immaculate, and the pool has been recently resurfaced and is lovely. Pool is not heated, but by the time of this trip (mid June) the water was warm and comfortable. We will be back again!

This is a large and comfortable California mid-century ranch-style one-story house, nicely furnished and appointed. It is adjacent to the De Anza golf course, and the landscaping is beautiful all over the neighborhood. You see views of the spectacular rocky mountains surrounding Borrego, and the house is located in what we believe is the nicest areas of the valley. The best time to visit this desert community is between November and April--the wildflowers are out in April, but the winter has its own beauty and we imagine that even in summer this house can be wonderful--having the pool is a real asset and other reviewers have praised the A/C. We didn't need it, but the heater worked very well and kept us warm at night. In the house, there are two master bedrooms with en suite bathrooms; a large kitchen open to the living room; and many windows throughout. We especially loved how quiet it was, and peaceful. The owner, Charlie, couldn't have been more helpful. He and his wife clearly have pride of ownership. While there for a three-day holiday, we took a "star gazing" tour with a local astronomer, Dennis Mammano, that was fantastic--Borrego is the only "dark sky" town in California, which means you see an amazing, star-filled night sky. And not far away is the spectacular Anza-Borrego Desert State Park--definitely a "must-visit" place if you are in the area. We can recommend this place without hesitation and hope we will be back soon!

Had a wonderful stay to watch the Leonids and took a side trip to Galleta Meadows to see the sculpture garden. The front patio is a wonderful place to read a book in the morning while sipping coffee and watching the hummingbirds in the garden. The back yard overlooks the golf greens, which are well maintained and quiet. The home's architecture is classic mid-century modern and the remodel was done in keeping with the style. Kitchen was very well appointed and a pleasure to cook in.

Very spacious feeling home, attractive, well-landscaped, has a pool to cool off in (we were too late in year to use it - too cold). Just exactly what we needed to de-stress. Fabulous place to bring your dogs! The owner, Charlie, more than responsive and helpful - really great guy. We will be back!

Beautiful house with great view of the mountains and stars. Swimming pool definite plus for the summertime. Had all the necessary amenities and super comfy beds! Dogs had a blast running around the yard in the early morning before it got too hot outside. If you have small dogs just make sure to watch them as the back yard is not fenced in completely.

My wife and I spent a few days in May at Charlie's De Anza Drive property. We enjoy Borrego Springs and Mid-Century Modern architecture and this residence is amazing. The attention paid to detail and the quality of the work done to restore the property is truly incredible. Neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful, and the vast majority of homes show pride of ownership. We took a walk or run through the neighborhood daily. The house was very clean, kitchen well stocked, and the bed was super comfortable. We enjoyed the many varieties of birds around the house. The pool is not heated, but very refreshing once we adjusted to the water temperature. Charlie was a super attentive host and VERY accessible for any questions we had. We HIGHLY recommend Charlie and this property for those who enjoy the desert and Mid Century architecture.
