How do I even begin to express how happy we were with vista del fuego. We were a multigenerational group of 11 and the house met all of our needs and exceeded all of our expectations. First of all this house has amenities that most other Costa Rican houses do not - a hot tub, easy access to laundry facilities, a generator which came in super handy for the frequent power outages that are common in Costa Rica. We looked at many other houses and this might be the only house that we found with all of these features which really contributed to the comfort of our stay there. The property itself is gorgeous and in a great private location with plenty of entertainment. What put vista del fuego over the top was the staff. Rambo the concierge made planning our trip super easy and convenient. My daughter is special needs and my mother has strict dietary needs and he made sure to call ahead to our excursions and make sure that all of their needs were met with out me even me having to ask. He always chose the highest quality licensed guides for our tours and the ziplining company was top notch and so incredibly safe - we were super impressed. We hired him as a chef as well and all I can say is they were definitely some of the best meals we have ever had - definitely have him cook for you, even if it’s just one or two meals. Edgar our driver was so flexible and kind, making sure we always got to where we needed and even bought us local snacks to try while we were out and about. Armando and his wife made sure the house was always immaculate when we came back. I honestly cannot say enough about how wonderful our experience was. Typically when we travel with extended family like this it can be very stressful due to all the individual needs and preferences but this house was so well equipped with amazing staff and amenities that this was honestly the first non stressful large family gathering we’ve had. If you are still trying to decide, look no further, this is definitely the place. It doesn’t get any better than this.

We stayed here for my dad’s 70th birthday and couldn’t have enjoyed our experience more! House was stunning and even more beautiful than the pictures. Rambo, Angie, Armando and Edgar was so helpful for the entire stay. Highly recommend!

My wife, 2 adult sons and daughter in law spent 8 days at Vista Del Fuego. The time was planned to get our family reconnected as we have all have busy lives and live across the US. Just before we drove up the road to the property I cautioned my family that pictures are sometimes much better than the actual property. I was absolutely wrong the pictures although spectacular don't do the quality of the house or the incredible views justice. It is stunning both inside and out. The landscaping is amazing and a credit to the landscaping done by Armando does an absolutely amazing job. IT truly is spectacular. Angie did a wonderful job keeping the house neat despite our messy selves. Rambo was the chef and concierge he was friendly, a massive help and a wonderful chef. He made setting up trips and events easy. His use of the results of our fishing trips (mahi mahi and Snook) made for amazing ceviche and wonderful dinners. And his grilled tenderloin was something we asked for twice it was so great. If you are going to rent this home you will want to rent a 4X4. I found the road was easy to drive (although the van ride in on day 1 was exciting). Both Quepos and Dominical are close by. If you haven't been to Costa Rica do the Manuel Antonio trip with Edwin. I've been twice and this trip was amazing. The sloth fight (including one sloth thrown out of a tree) and monkeys were interesting. The vacation turned out to be exactly what we needed and we spent such wonderful time together. The beautiful views, wonderful food, wonderful staff and our friends the toucans (saw at least 5 at one time) made for a great trip .

We had such a fun-filled week at Vista del Fuego, and are already planning out our return trip! We hired Rambo to cook gourmet meals for us all week, and wow— that was the BEST (and cost-effective) idea we had all week. He and his family are so precious and kind. Rambo helped plan out our week, and we had so much fun! We spent a full day on an off-shore fishing trip and found a pod of spinner dolphins with more tuna than we could imagine, so much so we had to head back to the marina because we caught more than we could house on the boat. Rambo prepared the tuna and other fish we had caught for us all week, and oh my! We are spoiled forever! We also went ziplining with nearly the whole crew— ages 3.5 to 36! We went to Buena Vista beach, and Rambo set up for us to have top notch service with umbrellas/chairs/drinks/food while the kids played in the ocean. While there, we also went parasailing and horseback riding, saw beautiful sights, and boogie boarded. On our final night, after a fantastic meal prepared by Rambo, Thais (Rambo’s wife) made us an out of this world passion fruit dessert!! She is known in the community for her baking skills and even provides her cinnamon rolls to the best bakery in town. We spent some days at Vista del Fuego and others out and about, and all were so unbelievably fun and helped us make memories that will last a lifetime. When we go back, we are looking forward to trying out some of the waterfalls (like the one with a slide!). The house itself is full of fun things to do— we loved the pool table, the comfortable beds, and the pool/hot tub. Angie was there daily to clean behind us—she is so sweet and such a hard worker. We got to hang out with Amando, the groundskeeper, and he told us stories about the family of Sloths that live to the left of the property! We didn’t see them, but next time, we are bringing our binoculars to scope them out. Our kids were so excited to get to swim and play with Angie and Amando’s son, Andre, and Thais & Rambo’s children, Ismael and Amaya, in the pool. Thank you Diane and Christopher for hosting our friends/family for the best vacation we have ever had! We can’t wait to come again!

Vista del Fuego provides the beauty and calm to be truly present and enjoy each moment. We decided which activities we wanted to do and what food we wanted, and Rambo did the rest! Talk about luxury!!! From the moment we booked our trip, everything was perfect. We arrived to a sky full of beautiful stars and slept very comfortably. The beds and pillows are very high quality and soft. We awoke to coffee and fruits followed by an amazing massage by Cynthia! I highly recommend it! For dinner the ceviche was AMAZING, as was everything else! All of our excursions were with very knowledgeable and fun guides, and the best part is I didn't have to do any of the research. Diane and Chris send all of the favorite excursions with transportation options and chef options and Rambo takes care of all of the planning and meals! Having everything so expertly taken care of takes away all of the stress, so all I did is enjoy the vacation...this was a very exceptional experience and vacation! I wish there were a Vista del Fuego in every city I want to visit. We can't wait to go back!

Our experience at VDF was an absolute dream! The house was amazing, the grounds were lush, well cared for and beautiful but the pool was FANTASTIC but the most memorable part of our stay was the staff. Diego (Chef) Thais (Sous Chef) Armando (Maintenance/Groundskeeper) and Angie (Housekeeper) and Rambo (Concierge/Property Manager). We will never forget their kindness, hard work, DELICIOUS food and the unforgettable memories they provided our family and friends with. All in all - it was the PERFECT vacation!

From the moment we booked, the owners, Diane and Chris, and Rambo made sure our trip was exactly what we wanted it to be! Rambo coordinated activities for our party of 9 (zip lining, horseback riding, a trip to the beach, and the Alturas Wildlife Sanctuary) and arranged for Jose to pick us up at the SJO airport and drive us as a group everywhere we needed to go. We had originally booked 2 rental cars and quickly determined they were not needed. Thankfully, Rambo was able to cancel for us. Since we were such a large group we determined we should have Rambo and Angie cook breakfast and dinner for us each day- the best decision we could have made! Each meal was delicious and would receive a 5 star rating in any restaurant. Every dinner we selected a fresh seafood and a non-seafood main entree and were amazed by the richness, creativity, and flavors in each dish. We also had our choice of 2 appetizers, sides, and a dessert which included bananas foster, fried oreos, and a the best chocolate cake ever. Make sure you ask for the fried plantains- they are amazing, especially in the plantain lasagne! Diane and Chris have thought of everything to make their home comfortable and relaxing! The kitchen is fully stocked (not that we needed anything thanks to Rambo), each room has plenty of outlets, the beds are amazing, and each bathroom has a hairdryer, plush towels, shampoo, conditioner, and everything else we needed. We were excited there was a pool table when we booked but never even made it to the third floor because we couldn't pull ourselves away from the pool and the gorgeous views from the patio. Armando does an excellent job keeping the landscaping beautiful and even met us at the end of a hike with coconuts he cut open so we could have fresh coconut water. He also shared information with us about the local animals and plants. We were not as lucky as other reviewers to see monkeys or sloths on the property but did see toucans and Armando's sweet dogs were happy to accompany us on walks and play around the pool. Thankfully, Rambo sent us to a beautiful nearby beach where we saw several sloths and monkeys in the trees. We were able to see even more at the sanctuary. We highly recommend this beach and if it is clear there is a small reef not too far out. There is so much to see and do in CR. Our only regret is we did not stay longer. We highly recommend this home and hope to return soon. Thank you for the best birthday!

This was the best place to stay I have ever experienced

The property is even more amazing than it looks in the pictures. The view is breathtaking, the house is immaculate, the staff felt like family by the time we left. It was a perfect vacation! I highly recommend choosing the personal chef service, Chef Rambo coordinated all our excursions, rides, reservations and prepared a killer breakfast and dinner everyday. I cannot wait to come back, we are already discussing when we can return! Vista del Fuego was the perfect place for our week long family vacation. Rambo, the concierge, was so helpful - he helped us plan all of our activities including the white water rafting, off-shore fishing, waterfall hike, and a guided tour of Manuel Antonio National Park. Rambo was also available to hire as a personal chef - and the food he prepared for us (every day for breakfast and dinner) was truly amazing!! We selected each meal from an expansive menu, and the food was a major highlight of the trip for everyone!! He cooked the 5 Mahi-Mahi we caught during our off-shore fishing trip, which more than fed the ten of us for two nights. We had perfect sashimi, ceviche, Mahi steaks and crispy fried coconut Mahi with apps, sides and dessert - it was incredible!! Rambo also showed us how to freeze the fish and bring it back to the states, so we have some great Mahi steaks back in Texas and Arizona too. The back patio was perfect for relaxing during the day and cooling off in the pool, and also to gather for a big dinner and drinks at night. We made fresh fruit smoothies in the Ninja blender most evenings and watched the sunsets (sometimes with a little rum mixed in!). The rooms all worked really well for our group. We had several couples and a toddler. Most of the rooms have great views of the ocean and Manuel Antonio, but some in our group preferred the secluded rooms facing the garden and rain forest. The property itself has been beautifully manicured by Amando, the live-in property manager. Amando and Angie live at the bottom of the hill, and cleaned the house and property each day while we were out keeping everything pristine inside and out. It also made us feel very secure to pass their house to get to Vista Del Fuego and was fun to see their little dogs Stuart and Doby. Overall, this was a fantastic, beautiful and relaxing place to stage a group vacation. We would all absolutely stay here again! The facilities and services made everyone feel truly pampered, and the whole experience - from start to finish - was beyond enjoyable for our entire family!! Everyone in our group has said they cannot wait until we go back for the next vacation.

We were a group of 9 with ages ranging from 14-75. This property and location had something for everyone. The view is amazing, the support staff and cooking by Rambo was the best. I would recommend taking advantage of using a driver. The road to the home is very steep and without a 4 x 4 impossible. White water rafting was our favorite activity.

Our vacation was awesome, facilitated by very mindful hosts. Thank you Dianne, Rambo, Angie, and Armand (and their adorable pets). View was spectacular, sunrise/sunsets were unbelievable, and the only "noise" came from the birds. Spending time at the pool and hot tub, well you get it. Some of my family got to see a mamma sloth and her baby! The only complaint (for some of my family) was that the home was situated high above a mountain (thus the spectacular views) requiring a 10 minute ride on a very bumpy road to get to any where. That's why a 4X4 Jeep is a must. I missed the adventure! We had a truly enjoyable time!

We had 11 people ranging from 11-72. It was the most amazing stay. The entire staff was amazing: Rambo, Angie, Armando, Jose and Ana took great care of us all week. Deep sea fishing, white water rafting, jet skis, zip lining, multiple beaches and waterfalls....and more. The food was 5 stars by Rambo: the fish, lobster and Costa Rican cuisine was amazing. All the staff treated us like family. We will never forget this trip and hope to be back soon. Pura Vida!

A group of 5 couples just spent a week at Vista del Fuego and found it to be everything we wanted/expected. Plenty of room for us and very comfortable. Our stay in Costa Rica at Vista del Fuego could not have been better. From the 5 star accommodations, to award winning meals prepared by Chef Rambo, wonderfully maintained by Angie and immaculate grounds kept by Armando. Our party of ten consisting of five couples had plenty of room to spread out and we all thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and infinity pool. We are already planning our next trip.

Getting all 12 of us together for a vacation was no easy feat, but we pulled if off! We have nothing but good things to say about VDF and the staff that made it all that much more enjoyable. We went "Full Monty" and hired the van service and the chef services. Rambo and his various assistants not only provided wonderfull meals but added to the Costa Rican experience with his first hand knowledge of the wildlife and the choices of activities. The impressive surroundings of VDF with the wild parrots and toucans and frogs was a real treat for all of us to experience! My wife and I planned to take our brady bunch family (6 adult children and four significant others) to Costa Rica for a fun and adventurous family trip. We had been planned the vacation for almost a year. Save yourself sometime and rent this house. Diane is very professional and is easy to work with. The house is outstanding and includes everything you would want in your own home. Unlike most house rentals, there is a couple that cleans and maintains the house daily which is a nice touch. Undoubtedly you will have read about Rambo in other posts and he is as advertised. He is extremely helpful with ANY of your needs. He is also an outstanding cook. Our family was blown away by his cooking and hospitality. We all kinda felt like he was part of the family by the end of the week. The house is better than the pictures on the website and I think it is very reasonable priced for what it offers. The house is private but a short drive to major attractions and tours. Manuel Antonio beach in the Park is one of the best beaches you will ever visit. The beach closest to the house “playa Linda” is also a great beach and very private. We couldn’t have picked a better location or been more lucky to have landed at Vista Del Fuego to celebrate our wedding. Location: pretty far south (~4 hrs south of SJO), but we enjoyed the authenticity of the culture, the food, & the nature. The house itself was absolutely beautiful and so well kept, thanks to Angie and Armando, plenty of room for our group of 9 adults, as well as being very comfortable! Concierge/Chef: There are no words that can come close to how we feel about our concierge, Rambo. Just within our one week stay, we felt like Rambo was family. He really made our experience perfect, and memorable—Not to mention, his cooking was delicious, too! We all got a little teary-eyed saying goodbye to our new friend. Rambo coordinated everything from grocery shopping, breakfast/dinner every night, helping scout the most perfect location for our ceremony, helping me find a flower crown(!!) to complete my Costa Rican wedding, reserving beach chairs (made us feel like VIP) and of course recommendations for all of the best excursions. He is so amazing at his job that we forgot he was working! We already miss him so much! His sous chef Diego(Banana) was a hoot. He was hilarious and such an asset to Rambo. He also hosted us for lunch at his mothers restaurant, just right down the road from the house. Highly recommend this for authentic food and atmosphere. We even got to meet his mother and children. Next time we’re karaokeing with the family!! Transportation: José and Ana were the BEST, most accommodating drivers. This is a must, especially for large groups. We hired them to drive to and fro the airport and to all of our excursions and beach days. They were always prompt and so silly with us. So convenient every single day- would hire again without thinking twice. Have I mentioned we love this place? Thank you Diane for having us. You were so thoughtful throughout the time leading up and while we’re there, too. Pura Vida means so much more to our family now! Thanks again!

This was my family's first time visiting Costa Rica and we fell in love (2 kids ages 12 and 9)! Pura Vida! Staying at Vista Del Fuego was paradise! From the moment we began planning our vacation, the owner, Diane, was so friendly and helpful. We have rented many homes through VRBO and she is by far the best owner we have ever worked with. The home itself is immaculate. Angie provides exceptional housekeeping service during your stay. Armando works outdoors and keeps the pool clean. They also provide smiles and are very friendly. The pool is amazing!! You have the most beautiful views from the pool and deck area. We watched the gorgeous sun set every night. We did many adventures during our stay like zip lining, river rafting, snorkeling party boat, fishing, and visiting beaches. It was a perfect mix of activity and relaxation. The highlight of our trip was having Rambo as our personal chef and concierge. He became a fast friend and he was such a pleasure to have around. Rambo planned all of our excursions for us which is such a huge stress reliever. He, and his assistant Diego, prepared all of our breakfasts and dinners. The food was so fresh and delicious! It is so worth it to use his chef services. He does daily grocery shopping to prepare what you desire for the day. I can't say enough good things about Rambo and all that he provides to the experience! We also used the driving service available with the home and it was so great to have Jose deliver us from place to place and back to the home. We truly loved our experience in Costa Rica and at Vista Del Fuego. We can't wait to return someday!

Our family can’t imagine any other way to enjoy Pura Vida than a stay at Vista Del Fuego. Diane and her team are truly exceptional and help create the perfect Costa Rican experience. We couldn’t imagine the trip without the planning help of Diane and Rambo. Not only is Rambo an exceptional planner but he is also an exceptional cook. He was incredibly helpful in organizing adventures that are uniquely local and create lifelong memories. His cooking partner Diego was excellent and together created delicious meals for the entire stay. The property is amazing and Armando and Angie were gracious hosts and ensured the property is always in 5-Star condition. We would absolutely return and have recommended the experience to friends who are interested in experiencing the beauty and fun of Costa Rica.

What a great Trip. Everything was as good as we imagined. 6 adults, 8 kids and everyone would go back right now if given the opportunity. The beaches were unbelievable the ocean was literally as warm as bath water. The Zip lining was ranked #1 by the kids, but a close second was the waterfall visit. Jumping from 25-30 feet high was something I wasnt sure everyone would do, but every single one did (multiple times). The house has all the games, movies, and pool toys you could imagine. The house was kept very clean, plenty of towels which we seemed to burn through every day with all the pool fun. A Major Highlight was the team of people we had helping us the entire week. Jose was our shuttle driver from the Airport and throughout the week. Was helpful, patient, and always on time. Armando manned all the outside things. Cleaned the pool, picked up all the balls that rolled down the hill, joined us in a game of soccer, and entertained all the kids with his multiple pets. Angie took care of all the clutter in the house. You can imagine 8 kids having the time of their lives that things got a little hectic, but every day she helped us put things back together with some light cleaning, bed making, laundry... Rambo and Diego were unbelievable. Great People, Great Chefs, Great Conversations. Even the kids who we often have to force to eat said the food was amazing. Everything we needed they were able to find, cook, clean make, buy, help...If we can arrange it, we would bring them both on our next vacation. If you are even considering not using them for any reason, stop considering it. Its worth every penny and then some. They are both well connected in the area so I think we were well taken care of when we went places as well. Diane (The Owner)-She was Johnny on the Spot. Every question I had, she responded almost immediately. Every Concern we had, she was able to address. She guided us on every aspect and there wasn't one thing where she embellished. We even had a pre-trip call just to work out any last questions. Its as good as you can imagine. Thanks again. Hope to see you again. Just BOOK IT.

Our group of travelers: 4 adult "siblings" and their spouses (8 travelers) found the ideal place to host our 4th family reunion trip (we live in different areas, and do a trip every 5 years or so). Our expectations were met in every regard. Owner Diane is very responsive, and answered the many questions we had leading up to our trip, which was planned more than a year in advance. Everything about Vista del Fuego was exactly as anticipated (we spending countless hours on the website, as well as reading all of the well-deserved --and certainly earned, 5-star reviews) The well-trained staff truly made our stay easy and enjoyable. Angie kept the place spotless, beds made, towels washed, and always had a warm smile; Amando kept the professionally landscaped grounds, and pool/ hot-tub in first-class condition; and Rambo never disappointed anyone by sharing his amazing gifts- a superb chef, a conscientious concierge, and truly a gentleman. The owner of this Villa certainly takes enormous pride in seeking, developing, motivating, and retaining a professional team to ensure that guests have a resort experience in an intimate, comfortable environment. Attention to detail comes standard, and is not a coincidence at VDF! We all marveled at Rambo's ability to accommodate our various dining quirks without fanfare. His assistant Diego was equally at home in the kitchen and the 2 of them delivered an awesome dining experience at every meal. They really listened to our cues; and then delivered precisely what we were seeking- from the abundant fresh fish and seafood (we even had stuffed calamari, and octopus ceviche for the adventuresome members of our group), to ribs and beef tenderloin. And for our more conservative family members- there was always a broad selection/ variety to ensure that all of us thoroughly enjoyed each meal. We had more wonderful tours within a 45 minute radius than we could consume in a week. Favorites included Nauyaca waterfalls; deep-sea fishing (we caught red snapper and grouper that we had for dinner); Manuel Antonio Park; Kayaking at Whales Tail; Monkey Mangrove Madness; Alturas Wildlife Tour; Spice/ Vanilla Tour; and even a local Festival/ Rodeo. The guides were informative and attentive at each of our activities. We were so glad we took advantage of the 14-passenger van service daily (as well as the RT airport transfer). Jose' was our professional, considerate driver. We'd certainly return to this paradise in a heart-beat!!!

Diane, from our 1st communication to the last, you were always attentive, helpful and easy to work with. We can’t thank you enough! Our mornings were filled with sunshine, spectacular views & delicious breakfasts prepared by Rambo. Our days were filled with adventurous excursions accompanied by our incredible driver, Jose. When back at the house, we treated ourselves to cocktails in the hot tub at sunset while the kids played in the pool and saw toucans, parrots & beautiful butterflies. We ended each day with a gourmet meal prepared by Rambo and one of his assistants. Our kids wanted an action-packed vaca & boy did they get one! We visited Manuel Antonio Park & saw Howler & White-faced monkeys, sloths, lizards & relaxed on its beautiful beaches. We visited Playa Uvita in Marino Ballena Park & saw macaws then we traveled to a nearby waterfall where the kids jumped and slid from. We surfed in Dominical with Dominical Surf School & shopped the outdoor market & nearby shops. We ate lunch at roadside “sodas” for authentic, local cuisine & ate one day in Manuel Antonio, overlooking the beach below. We visited the nearby waterfall and swimming hole in our neighborhood & we hiked to the Nauyaca waterfall. We visited Quepos, its farmers’ market & did the Ocean King Catamaran tour We visited Playa Biesanz where we rented jet skis & saw more sloths. Our favorite beach was the beach closest to the house, Playa Linda. It was empty, unspoiled & miles long. The view from the water of the palm tree lined beach & green mountains in the background will be an image we will never forget! While the attractions are amazing & the landscape breathtaking, it is truly the people who make this place so special. What an incredible staff you have @ VDF. Rambo is an outstanding chef but an even better person. Our after dinner conversations w/ him & his assistants were priceless. He's extremely knowledgeable & a hard worker, always aiming to please. Our private van driver Jose was reliable, trustworthy & beyond patient with us. He gave us a sense of calmness & security everywhere we went. We never worried in his company, always feeling safe & relaxed. Jose knows the land & language & guards the van & personal belongings. If you are thinking about renting cars as we had, I encourage you not to and can't recommend Jose enough! It was one of the best decisions we made. If you want a vacation with all the luxuries, this is the place!!! We were ecstatic to see this spectacular estate perched on the mountain! The views were unbelievable! The added touches make this place like a 5 star resort with so many amenities! Every person in our group had a robe waiting in the closet, the towels were thick and soft, the house was cleaned every day by the wonderful Angie, and there was even a bowl of fresh fruit waiting for us when we arrived! This review would not be complete without talking about the service. The owners and concierge answered all questions, helping us with travel, booking tours and making recommendations based on our preferences. Rambo was amazing! He is not only the nicest concierge but also a fabulous culinary chef!! We loved the first meal he prepared so much that we booked 2 additional nights! Definitely have him prepare tuna! It was the best I've EVER had! It was so wonderful to sit out on the balcony each morning, and drink our coffee with an ocean view! We were pleasantly surprised that even during the Green Season, we had plenty of sunshine to explore the area and do several tours recommended and booked by Rambo. This estate has a good sized area to play soccer, a pool with an ocean view, a billiards table, and a number of board games! It is a great place for all ages! We have traveled to 5 star resorts in Cancun, as well as other home away properties in the Dominical/Quepos area, and nothing has compared to the service we received at Vista Del Fuego! The owners, as well as the staff made us feel like family. It's safe to say that this is truly our new home away from home. There is no doubt we will be coming back to Vista Del Fuego as often as possible!

If you want a vacation with all the luxuries, this is the place!!! We were ecstatic after driving up the mountain to see this spectacular estate perched on the mountain! The views were unbelievable! The added touches make this place like a 5 star resort with so many amenities! Every person in our group had a robe waiting in the closet, the towels were thick and soft, and...being a bit of a sheet snob...I noticed the quality and softness. This review would not be complete without talking about the service. The owners and concierge answered all questions, helping us with travel, booking tours and making recommendations based on our preferences. Rambo was amazing! He is not only the nicest concierge but also a fabulous culinary chef!! We loved the first meal he prepared so much that we booked 2 additional nights! Definitely have him prepare tuna! It was the best I've EVER had! We were pleasantly surprised that even during the Green Season, we had plenty of sunshine to explore the area and do several tours recommended and booked by Rambo. I can't wait to come back!!! Costa Rica is a beautiful country with beautiful people :)

The house is on top of a hill with the most amazing view! My family had a very comfortable stay here. The rooms are spacious; the beds are comfortable;the kitchen very well equipped, and the pool is wonderful! Special thanks to the house manager, Kirk, for all his assistance! And thank you, Sharon, for all your area recommendations! You were right in all of them!

This was our first time in Costa Rica and so fortunate to hit a home run on our first stay - the booking process was easy, Sharon was AMAZING to deal with. Great customer service. She sent precise directions, and more importantly a great list of recommendations. Loved her restaurant picks, her zip lining suggestion blew us away, and her other suggested day trips (sea caves, water falls, etc) were spot on. The house is an amazing property backing up to the jungle. Clean, comfortable, and with a ton of linens, it had everything we needed, including a great neighbor down the road who ensured that our stay was a great one. Modern appliances, and all the amenities of home, this house is truly a luxury property located in the best part of Costa Rica. Five star plus! We hope to be back soon!

We were just wowed with this fantastic place from the moment we walked in. The place was clean and beautiful. There was plenty of room for 9 of us. The laundry was a big plus and the kitchen had everything we needed for meal preparation. There were two separate air conditioning units, and one was malfunctioning the first night but I sent an email to Marlon and he had someone there making repairs early the next morning. The pool was beautiful and refreshing with incredible views. The location couldn't be beat, secluded and private. It was a little challenging to get to. We couldn't find a van that fit 9 and had 4-wheel drive, but since we were pretty loaded down we were able to make the climb. Smaller, 2-wheel drive cars might find it difficult to get to the house. The house was well stocked with movies and music and books. None of us wanted to leave.
