The condo is beautiful with cute decor. The only problem is the electricity goes out a daily basis. This is what they told us and it usually is out about an hour are so. But one night it went off at 6:00 PM and did not come back on till 4:30 AM. Therefore we want be staying there again

We really enjoyed our stay here. Everything is close by. You can walk from the ferry very easily. The grocery store is steps away. The beaches are just a couple of blocks away. We loved the square in front where the local kids play in the evening.

We loved this casita especially the roaring of the waves as they crashed on the shore. Our favorite part was sitting on the patio each evening to watch the ships go by, listen to the waves and watch the people stroll by on the malecon.

We loved our casita Palenque. Beautiful balcony view of the Caribbean. The property was clean, had all the amenities we needed, and the A/C kept the casita cool which was welcomed in the August heat and humidity. I would stay again here in a heart beat. We loved having so many restaurants and the beach within walking distance. Getting to and from the ferry was a short 3 minute walk. Had no problem finding the place using directions property manager provided. We spent time in both pools. It was a perfect stay for me and my 12 yo son.

We just spent 5 wonderful nights here. Our first vacation since the start of the pandemic. The location is perfect! The market is around the corner and close to take out places for food. The outdoor space is perfect for meals and watching the sunrise. We did use the pool once-very clean- but it was very cold, so we didn't stay in long. We definitely will stay here again on our next visit to Isla.

After the long exhausting day of travel, walking into the Pelenque casita was a joyous and relieving experience. It was a clean comfortable room that looked just as it was advertised. The staff was great. The room was kept clean with visits from the cleaning crew every other day, who would leave the loveliest towel origami I've ever seen. We had the promenade and Caribbean Sea waves right out our bedroom window every night. We couldn't have had a lovelier experience. We should know, as attendees of our friends' destination wedding we got a chance to see and hear about some of the other guests' hotel experiences and it broke my heart, but affirmed we made the best choice in booking here. You will not be disappointed. If we ever make our way back to Isla Mujeres, we will definitely be staying at Villas San Miguel.

This is a nice efficiency condo for a couple with great ocean views and great ocean breeze.

I had always heard about staying at Villas San Miguel on Isla Mujeres from friends, how much fun the island is, that everything is reasonably priced and the people are so friendly. All of this, I found, is 100% true. We stayed in "Palenque" and Abdiel took care of making sure everything was very accommodating for us from the time we arrived to assuring our safety of our room to making sure we had enough fuel in our cart to scheduling an in-house covid test for our return home. This villa is situated in the center of everything, walking distance to the ferry and restaurants (too many to experience in only 1 week), and close to the market to buy groceries, if needed. I believe any of the villas would be great to stay in and both pools were crystal clean also. I give this villa a 5-star review and would recommend to anyone wanting a quiet adult-cation to stay here.

Everything about our stay at this property was perfectly amazing. My boyfriend and I couldn't stop saying how it was the perfect place for us and how excited we are to have found it! The staff were all super helpful, friendly and a joy to talk with. The room itself was heaven with its ocean view, patio, and kitchenette. We had more than enough clean water to drink and loved both pools. I almost don't want to review this place as I might not get another chance to visit! Haha

The lovely casida was ocean front and very comfortable. You do have to walk to the beach where you swim or you can rent a golfcart about 10 to 12 minutes walk, as the ocean in front has rough shore but stunning to look at and has bright sunrises. (You can use outside storm shutters to shade for sleeping in!) It has two beautiful pools that are like little havens as they are lovely in design and water temp is perfect! The courtyards surrounding the pools and the sitting areas are very very charming. Palenque, the casida we stayed seemed adequate space for 3 people or for a couple and 2 small children but you may consider one of the 2 bedroom units for 3 to 4 people for alittle more privacy. For a couple, it would be perfect and very romantic! The San Miquel Villas are close to restaurants, shopping, pharmacies, ferry is close and beaches and you can walk to everything very easily as it all is within 1 block to 4 blocks. Keith, the owner, is very helpful(just email him) and the Gloria, the housekeeper, does wonderful as does the maintenence guys. Definitely contact Keith as he will tell them if anything needs looked at. The safe is in the closet and easy to use. The internet access is on the wall near tv. Overall very pleased with this property and would stay again!

A beautiful place right on the beach. All walking distance to the beach, restaurants, shops, supermarket. All the people working here are very accommodating and wonderful. We stayed here in different units over two months. All units are very well stocked with everything you need. It is a home away from home. Both the owner and the manager are very responsive and helpful if you need anything. The island itself is a paradise. San Miguel Villas is our home on this island

What an awesome place! We cant wait to come back. We came with a group of my best girlfriends and our young adult children. We loved our rooms opening to the pools and the ocean breeze and the close proximity to each other. We love the AC and the Wifi. Any issues i had read earlier have certainly been corrected. The location and the views are unbeatable.

Wir waren schon zum 2. mal in den Villas San Miguel. Diesmal in einer 'Casita' im EG mit Blick auf den Malecon. Die Casita ist anders geschnitten als die Units im anderen Block, wo man 2 abgeschlossene Zimmer hat. Anfangs fühlten wir uns nachts ein wenig unsicher, denn vom Malecon aus kann jeder einfach auf den Balkon steigen. Aber irgendwie ist Isla Mujeres auch so familär, dass man eher alles entspannt sieht. Was uns wieder komplett überzeugt hat, ist die gepflegte Ausstattung, die großzügigen Räume (auch das Bad), das gute Licht (vor allem im Bad), die Überversorgung mit Handtüchern, der Maid Service alle 2 Tage, der fürsorgliche Herr Abdiel an der Rezeption, das Meeresrauschen und natürlich: die Lage gleich neben der Kirche. Das Schuttfeld südlich direkt neben den Villas San Miguel ist zwar fast verschwunden, aber vom Balkon unserer Casita schaut man immer noch auf eine Ecke davon. Für den Iguana Pedro ist das eine Gelegenheit, seinen Schuttberg zu verlassen und am Frühstückstisch Mango-Schalen zu erbetteln.

We stayed in Palenque, right on the ocean. It was SO easy to find the Villas. They're straight up the street from the ferry, and you're at the other side of the island! (About 4 blocks.) You can easily walk to everything in Centro from here. And that ocean breeze is delightful! Everything was clean, safe, and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

It's always a great stay when we are at Villas San Miguel. We appreciate all that Abdiel and the rest of the staff do to make our vacation time in Isla so wonderful. We will be back!

Easy to reserve. Easy access from ferry. Right on the ocean, most condos have balconies overlooking the ocean. Great for longer stays with full kitchen.

We loved this property so much...we commented throughout our week how happy we were to have stayed at Villas San Miguel (Palenque). We walked all over the north part of the island throughout the week, and while we enjoyed a few forays into the "resort" parts of town, we absolutely *loved* returning to our private, clean, lovely, quiet, perfect condo. This location is steps away from the best restaurants in town. There is a grocery store maybe 100 yards from the front door. On-site staff are superb; kind, attentive, helpful, and welcoming. The condo was gorgeous, clean, and exactly as we saw from the pictures. Ocean view is nothing short of stunning. It's the windy side of the island so the "nearby" beach isn't one you can lay out on...but it makes for great walks and shelling. And the "tourist" side of the island where the lounging beaches are, are no more than a 10 minute stroll through town which is where you'd walk anyway. We can't say enough about how great Isla Mujeres is, and Villas San Miguel is a property we will visit again, and we hope to bring other family and guests as well. Just absolutely magnificent. Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay. The property is very well kept and the rooms were clean. The only complaint is there was a large pile of construction debris piled up immediately to the right of our porch....wasn't pretty. Overall though it was a pleasant stay.

The stay here was amazing. The ocean view blew me away. I loved everything about this place and the staff are all wonderful. We wanted to rent a golf cart so I had emailed the property manager and literally 5 minutes someone was at our door to confirm for the rental for the next day. The service here was amazing. The people staying here as well are a great bunch, and so easy to make quick friendships. The one thing I would need to say that seemed to be in agreement with everyone is that the pools are a little difficult to get in and out of. There are no stairs just a seat to step on. But for some people that seat is too deep. Other than that, this place was an absolute dream. We will definitely be back.

Great ‘at the shore’ location, sparkling clean condo, very nicely decorated and super quiet-until 7:45AM! When the upstairs Maid began cleaning, at a ferocious pace-dropping broom handles, knocking the wood furniture, rushedly walking back and forth ‘thump,thump, thump’! As well when when we arrived about an hour Prior to check-in, a front desk employee carried bags to room, and left. There was Never a pleasant greeting or smile, or ‘Bienvenidos s Villas San Miguel’, and NO ONE EVER GAVE US A ‘WALK-THRU’ and showed us there was a SAFE-INSIDE the Closet/or How to use it (which we discovered on our own), or ‘HOW’ to control the AC via the remote, or HOW to use the TV remote control-had there been, they would’ve found out that ‘IT’ did NOT work, and when we went to front desk(with inoperable remote in hand), to notify the Clerk and asked for someone to fix it or replace it or borrow from another Non-occupied room - we were only told ‘No! Todo es Ocupado’ and No help us ever offered. Then same thing when we took the non-operable ‘Can Opener’ to a clerk at the desk , so when the Freezer stopped working -on our 2nd nite -and water from the thawing freezer was dripping non-stop-bcuz of the previous ‘lack of response’ from employees-we just placed big plastic glasses to collect the dripping and towels. When we returned frm grocery store-there were 2 male Employees at the front desk who never lifted there heads -so engrossed in their cell phones - and didn’t bother to greet us nor ask if we needed anything . And we had to search for the Wi-Fi password since NO employee EVER explained that or ANYTHING to us EVER, Nor did anyone ever introduce themselves to explain things to us, for the 3 days we were there.. Despite the HUGE LACK of Customer Service-we WERE quite comfortable IN the Condo.

A perfect place to stay on Isla Mujeres! We had a fabulous 2 week heavenly vacation in Palenque Oceanside casita. The view is amazing, the unit is clean and quaint and the location is close to shopping and great beaches. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We were worried about being on the bottom floor at the time of booking for safety. I never gave it a second thought once we arrived as the villa and the island felt totally safe. We highly recommend Villa San Miguel and Palenque oceanside casita. We saw 3 other units as friends of ours stayed here and they were all amazing. Staying in a villa is a wonderful change from an all inclusive resort. We hope to visit again!

Every detail was well thought through by management. The location, cleanliness, staff and entire stay earns five stars. We will be back!!!!

Great location, beautiful rooms and nice pool. Has hot water and comfy soft beds. There was some bugs coming in under the door by nights so we used a towel to block that problem, the tv remote was broken - we let the staff know but neither was able to fix during the stay. We stayed 3 days and maids came once. None a big deal or will stop future visits. Stayed before and had none of that happen.

The villa was exactly as pictured. There was no hairdryer but I let Keith know and housekeeping had one there in no time! A/C worked great and it was in a great location....close to North Beach and all the night life on Hidalgo and Centro. I enjoyed the view from Palenque and being able to hear the waves at night. I will definitely return to Villas San Miguel!

We have almost finished an eleven night stay at Villa Palenque at Villas San Miguel on Isla Mujeres. It has been a tremendous stay. We would totally recommend this villa. It has a balcony with a wonderful view of the Caribbean Sea and we sat here enjoying the ambience for many hours. People wander past along the Malecon walkway but the only noise is the sea. It is shady by midday which is essential in the heat. Some of the units do not have a sea view. I recommend paying extra and getting one. The unit has a well equipped kitchen with a large fridge and freezer. This is a spacious studio unit with seperate large bathroom area. The supermarket is 2 minutes away and we used this a lot for supplies. We also ate from many of the local vendors around the area selling their street food. All good. The main beaches, Playa Norte and Playa Centro are a short walk away but it was always pleasant to return to one of the two pools here away from the many day trippers who crowd the beach in the middle of the day. If this place was closer to our home in New Zealand we would be frequent visitors.

We absolutely loved this property!! We found the property exactly as described and Keith was very helpful in answering all of my questions prior to arrival. The location was ideal for a quieter, slower paced vacation but very close to the ferry, restaurants, bars and the market. The view was stunning and so wonderful to wake up to every morning. We didn’t want to leave but are sure we will be back and definitely recommend it to everyone we know!

We loved Villas San Miguel, can not wait to return! The grocery store is around the corner, the property sits on a small sea wall, morning sunrise with coffee is absolutely priceless. Quiet area in evenings. So close to all the shops, restaurants, & few blocks to the beachside. Dreamy vacation came true.

We found the casita exactly as advertised and reviewed. The suite is like a cozy home away from home. We found it impeccable. Everything is within walking distance. Loved sitting on veranda with coffee in the morning watching the sun rise. Like others before us, we too, left the window open and the AC off at night to listen to the waves. An old iguana visits daily and loves sliced bananas. The only con is the inability to access the WiFi. It was an exercise in futility. We would rebook without hesitation. Highly recommend.
