First off, Wayne was very responsive to our communications - not that much was necessary...
Secondly, the location was great for us: in the middle of the Redland (great fresh veggies and fruits), 1 hour to the Everglades, 30 mins to the Byscane Ntl Park, 1 hour to Miami Beach, etc. Plus easy access to the Keys...

The owners have a separate house on the same property. We were there 7 days and never saw them so they really respect your privacy.
They are very quick on responding to any questions you may have. Our flight was delayed so it was dark when we arrived. I messaged the owners we were coming in late, they replied they would have both the exterior and interior lights on to help us.
The house has everything you need, it was very clean and well maintained. The patio is very private also.
Depending on traffic their about 45 -60 minutes from the airport. The unique thing is they are close to the southeast entrance to the everglades, They are close to highway 41 where a number of airboat companies launch there airboats, a little farther west on 41 is a second section of the everglades If your looking to go to the keys they are located close to highway # 1.
They are surrounded by orchards and nursery's so it's very rural which we really enjoyed. For the price it's a great place to stay.

We travel often; this was definitely among the best places we've rented. Very clean, comfortable, and private. Wayne was very responsive and helpful. We definitely hope to stay here again if/when we return to the area.

The gate code was a little tricky as it gave several options for codes. Not sure if they updated the code but forgot to take it out of the description for check in? Wasnt that big of a deal once we had the remote. Very private, sat out on the patio in the evening. The beds were uncomfortable. They were very firm beds. Very clean and private. The only reason i wouldnt stay again would be due to the uncomfortable beds.

What a wonderful property! The home was well appointed with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The home was immaculately clean and comfortable and much larger than we expected. The grounds were beautiful and surrounded by lovely farms and nurseries with local food and culture. The owners were very accommodating, responsive and helpful. We will definitely be back to stay at this wonderful hidden oasis in the country!

The property suited our (2 couples) situation with each couple having there own bathroom facilities. The kitchen is well stocked for eat in/out options. We made use of the open fire pit which is a nice touch. The outlook from the back of the property is excellent!
We used this location as an entry point to the Keys, as well as to Miami tourist spots and it worked well.

The property was exactly as listed. Property was VERY clean and we felt right at home. The location was convenient since we were visiting Everglades NP and Biscayne NP. The most impressive thing, though, was how great Wayne was with communication. He responded right away if we messaged him and he left us some fresh goodies from the orchard. If you are looking for a property in this area don't pass this one up. We couldn't ask for a better vacation and rental experience.

We booked this house to have an in between spot of Key West and Miami so we could visit a few places while in Florida. We had 3 adults and three teenagers and we had plenty of room! The owners really thought of everything. It seemed like when we said to ourselves "oh, we need ____" The house had it :) The only downside of the trip was the area did not provide a lot of site seeing. But that was not the fault of this property. The house was amazing and I would rent here again!

We stayed here for Easter weekend. We felt very much at home and were able to enjoy a wonderful family dinner. You have everything you need here. It is comfortable and very clean. It is in a good location for visiting the Keys. I wish we could have stayed longer.

The home is very clean, comes with everything you need, the land is gorgeous and the manager was very easy to communicate with and even gave us extra time to check out, I’d love to come back again!

This place was priced cheaper than hotels but was a much higher quality stay. It is gates so that took away any stress of our stuff being messed with. We never encountered anyone so it was very private. The inside is beautiful and the beds were very comfortable. Very clean and in a good central location to a lot of things to do. I hope this place is available when we book our next trip to south Florida!

If I could give Wayne 10 stars I would. His place was just as described. Beautiful, clean, very peaceful. Loved seeing the little lizards visiting me each morning! Would stay again if we are ever in the neighborhood.

If I could give more than five stars I would. This is a wonderful place to stay. Super clean!! There is nothing bad to be said about this property or the manager. Everything was great. And Wayne knows the most wonderful place to get tacos. Be sure and ask him, you won't regret it!

We were in Homestead, Florida in October 2019. From the house we very excited. It has been big enough for us 4. To the house belonged a huge garden with all fruit trees. It was clean and tidy. We felt very comfortable and would visit again anytime. Wayne was a very nice landlord and offered to wash with him any time, although our house had own washing machine. If you like it a bit quieter in Florida and do not want to live miami directly in the hotel, you are well looked after here. We can only recommend the house.

As soon as we entered the house, we received a warm welcome in a form of exotically shaped avocados and aromatic mangos and a spotless clean house. We found Amazon Prime and Netflix very entertaining and relaxing in the evenings after our busy day. This place is for someone who appreciates nature and enjoys quiet mornings, days or evenings looking at the sky and green grounds. I never felt better on my vacation and I miss it very much already. My family was absolutely overwhelmed by this place. Wayne is very kind and helpful when you need his help. The property is located in a very peaceful and beautiful town, there is absolutely no other place in Florida where you can relax as much.
We will come back, because it is truly best place in Florida! Thank you Wayne!

Family Stay for Everglades and Biscayne Bay NPs
We enjoyed our stay at this well appointed comfortable space. Our host Wayne did all possible to make our stay good. He brought us fruits and allowed us in early. The home is well stocked with needed kitchen items and linens. they have labelled all the light switches to make it easier for visitors. We were very comfortable for our family of five with three teens.

Great Stay!
We had a great stay at this home! The owner is very courteous and replied to a question promptly. We had a relaxing time, enjoyed walking the grounds and used the fire pit and really appreciated that they had a cooler to use on our day trips to Shark Valley and Flamingo in the Everglades, Biscayne, and out to Key West. The home is central to the parks, quiet, and comfortable. A great stay!

Wonderful
45 minutes from the Everglades, ocean, or downtown Miami. Take your pick. Then come back to this place and relax on the orchard. The house was comfortable size for my group of four adults and three kids. I highly recommend this place.

Very Nice! Quiet!
We loved staying here, it was just what we were looking for, nice and quiet, with room and amenities to handle our scuba diving equipment rinse and dry out time. It was surprisingly centrally located to the things we we wanted to do... Everglades NP, Biscayne NP, the Florida Keys and family that we were visiting. It was well appointed with kitchen, laundry, two bedrooms and TVs (though we did not watch any). It is secure with a automatic gate to enter the property. The guest house is to the rear of the main house, with fruit trees all over. There was not much in season when we stayed there, but we did enjoy fresh tomatoes and papayas. The owner, Wayne, was very friendly and helpful, responding to the couple of questions quickly. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to the Miami area again.

Great Central Location!
Lovely home! Pictures do not do it justice! Our hosts were exceptional. The landscaping and grounds were beautiful! Great Central location to visit major attractions! The produce from the orchard is delicious and beautiful touch. Thanks for making your home available so others can enjoy your area!! If we get a chance to return we’d love to stay here again.

OUTSTANDING PLACE
We had three people stay in June 2018. The place is immaculate and has all the bells and whistles travelers appreciate. The condition and cleanliness of the house was five stars. Wayne and his family were great to work with and communicated with us every step pf the way. They went out of there way to provide anything we wanted. The privacy was outstanding and the fruit farm was magnificent and so peaceful at sunset. We use VRBO a lot and this is one of the very best experiences we have had.

Relaxing stay
We stayed here while visiting Everglades National Park. It was perfect with our 2 small children. The owner communicated with us well and left detailed instructions on everything that we might need to know about the house. It was fun to have fresh limes available and to be able to walk around the beautiful property. The patio area was nice to hang out on and it was a relaxing space to sit in the evening. Thank you for the great stay.

We'll-cared for, peaceful place
We stayed here while visiting the national parks in South Florida. The house was easy to find and we knew exactly what to expect thanks to the detailed instructions/information provided prior to arrival. When we arrived we were thrilled with the comfort and cleanliness of the house! The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked and everything was easy to find. We were greeted with a bowl of fresh picked limes from the orchard which were delicious in our evening cocktails. The house was the perfect size for our family of 4 (2 kids, 2 adults) and the orchard was a wonderful place to explore with the kids. We truly enjoyed coming home every evening to this relaxing, peaceful retreat. Wayne was a pleasure to work with-even when I accidentally booked for the wrong week and had to change the dates-and made sure we had everything we needed. If we are ever in S. Florida we will defintely stay here again!

Great location for exploring southern Florida. The house was very spacious and clean. Everything you need including fresh picked limes. I would definitely recommend this home.

We enjoyed our stay. The house is very nice, and had plenty of room for our family of 4. Limes were in season and our youngest daughter loves them, so we made (non-)key lime pie and limeade. The location is very convenient to the Everglades, which we visited both days that we stayed here.

Wonderful Stay!
My friends and I greatly enjoyed our stay in Homestead. The property is well maintained, the owners are extremely helpful and the house is very comfortable. The location is close to food and the places we wanted to visit, but was also quiet and felt like it was far away from noise and crowds. The description in the listing is very accurate. We appreciated the fresh fruit as well. Thanks for a wonderful few days!

Perfect 2 bedroom rental!!!
This rental house was perfect for my family of 6. It was clean, spacious and had everything we needed. We were in town for a wedding so we rented this house because it was minutes away from the venue, the location was perfect. The owner was very accommodating. Again, great rental!!!!!
