I got two rooms because I have a large family. My husband’s room was clean and more recently done than mine. Everything worked. My room had a problem with the toilet which lucky for me I knew how to fix. The sink which my husband fixed and the microwave which only worked when you tapped the 3 and the 5 buttons. I also had ants all over my bathroom sink. This can be a terrific place to stay if you stay in the right room. To be fair I was assigned another room, but my husband and I wanted the rooms together so they reassigned me to this room. I also didn’t take the time to complain to the front desk because I wanted things fixed quickly. There was also an issue with my reservation so if you’re canceling your reservation or changing it make sure you know the details and make sure you get confirmations and keep them.

The breakfast area was nice. Simple but nice. The room very run down, curtains torn, the over all room was shabby. The commode stopped up the first time it was flushed. The solution well there is a plunger down at the desk you are welcome to come and get it. You do know how to plunge a commode, this was 1 am in the morning. Location was great, we wanted just a cheap place to stay for the night so we could be on the road for Key West the next morning. The pool while we did not get to use it, was very clean and well maintained.

We chose the property for location and the price. The place was kinda run down. But you can see they are working to upgrade. New roof was going on. Some areas were roped off with yellow caution tape, not sure but think it was related to the roof work. Over all the property was not bad for the low cost. We did kill a roach the first 2 mins in the room.
