Great location, amazing view! Did not disappoint.

What a beautiful property- the view is amazing! The location is excellent for walking to restaurants and shops. It was lovely to be able to dine out and have a drink without worrying about driving not to mention not to have to look for and pay for parking! Highly recommend!

Really enjoyed our stay at the Kona Reef! The condo is very clean and well kept up. The hosts thought of everything...beach chairs, beach towels, coolers, etc. Loved the extra touch of a box of Hawaiian made chocolates & cookies left for us. The view of the ocean from the lanai was the best part of the condo. Enjoyed the sunsets and watching for whales. The condo is also within walking distance to some shops and restaurants. The only downside of this condo was parking was sometimes a challenge in the evening as the lots got full. I would highly recommend this condo for your stay in Kaiula-Kona!

This place was unbelievable!! Seeing and hearing the ocean all day, oh man! Our trip got delayed due to cracks on the runway at Kona Airport and the owner was kind enough to refund the night we missed because of it. Communication was excellent. I would love to stay here again!!

Thank you Dan for providing an exceptional clean unit. Every item was well thought out and no unnecessary items cluttering up the closets. Nothing was broken and there was a nice supply of toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo and other essential items. The balcony has a nice high top table to enjoy the beautiful of ocean over the rocky shoreline. We didn't spend much time at the pool, but the hot tub was nice and the pool temperature swimmable. Complex is located and an easy walk to restaurants and shops. We both agreed that this was one of the cleanest and most organized places we have stayed.

Staying at this Kona condo was an absolute delight! The unit was immaculate, cozy, and well-equipped. However, what truly stole the show were the mesmerizing sunsets visible from the balcony. The panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean were breathtaking, painting the sky in vibrant hues every evening. It was the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy nature's beauty. Conveniently located and offering modern amenities, this condo provided a memorable stay. Highly recommended for a relaxing and picturesque getaway!

The condo was a few steps from the ocean and had a perfect balcony to enjoy the waves crashing on the rocks. The accommodation included everything needed for a carefree stay. The location was close to everything in the Kona area of the Big Island.

This was the perfect place to stay in Kona. The views from the Lanai were amazing. It was fun to watch the surfers and the spinner dolphins. Unfortunately, it was too early for the whales but if you are coming during that time, I am sure it would be great to watch them. The sunsets are also so beautiful to watch and if you are lucky you will see beautiful rainbows also. The unit is very clean and has everything you need. It is also very close to town so you can walk there. I hope someday we can return and I definitely would stay here again.

This location is perfect for all things Kona. We were very comfortable in this condo, and the sunset views every night were fantastic. A couple of the permanent residents come out and blow conch shells at sunset every night, a ritual we found charming. We were appreciative of the provided beach gear, including an umbrella. This condo has everything you need for a great stay on this side of the island.

Very nice clean property with a stunning view, close to all the action on Ali'i Drive, huge bed, convenient towels and boogie boards, and some tasty treats for our arrival. The ocean is literally a stone's throw away. The host was very timely in responding to our questions. Would return any time, and we are already planning to.

This condo had everything we needed or even wanted—including a gorgeous relaxing view to greet us after a day of exploring. We would gladly stay here again.

Check in process was simple, the owners have provided everything you need and the location gives you walkable access to town but the privacy and quiet of being just far enough away. They earn their 5 star reviews for a reason. Don’t miss this piece of paradise!

We loved the condo and property. The views from the lanai were spectacular! The town of Kona was not as nice as expected. The number of homeless in the area was a little disconcerting and made it uncomfortable to walk around. And this comes from someone who commuted to NYC for 40 years.

My husband and I stayed at this condo to celebrate our 20th Anniversary. The unit was clean and well stocked. The bedroom could be a little warm, but a box fan in the hallway pushed the air fine. The view is beautiful of course but everything about this condo was great! We cooked dinner (my husband caught a fish so we cooked one night) and there were plenty of pots and pans and utensils. Everything was very clean and well taken care of. We loved our stay!!

Absolutely loved this condo! The waterfront view from the balcony and living area was so serene, a tropical paradise! The condo was well equipped from beach towels to shampoo to ziploc bags and everything in between. It was in a great location close to restaurants and shops. There was also a washer/dryer which was very convenient. We loved it so much we tried to book it again later this year and it was already taken. Dan, the owner was prompt to any questions we had. The Kona Reef condo complex was well maintained and had a wonderful pool and hot tub area. We look forward to coming back!

The location and view from this condo can't be beat. Short and safe walking distance from Kona shopping and eats but just far enough away to be out of the never ending crowds and road noise. The balcony is stellar. The view is panoramic. The sunsets beautiful. The kitchen has everything needed to cook with which helps defray the food costs of the Big Island. Bathroom is small but efficient although I think could benefit with another towel hook. The bedroom stays very warm but does have a ceiling fan. The wifi kind of works. We were able to connect to Google and our airline app but our other apps would not engage. Bonus, there is a large drawer of books and, as a reader, I was pleased. I left a book I finished and took a new one. The owner is so nice and is quick to provide info about condo and island. The facility has BBQ grills, nice clean pool and chairs. The facility is safe. Yes, I would stay again in this unit.

This condo was perfect for our vacation. The location was convenient to restaurants and shops. The view from the lanai was beautiful. We will definitely be staying here again!

When we arrived at this condo we found it stocked with all the necessities (soap, laundry detergent, coffee filters, ziploc bags, etc). Location is very close to restaurants and shopping, didn’t have to drive to eat/shop. The view was absolutely beautiful from the balcony! We hope to return someday!

The condo is adorable and the view from the balcony is absolutely incredible! We also loved feeling the ocean breeze that flows from the balcony through the bedroom, and the sound of the waves is so calming.

We have owned and rented an oceanfront condo on Maui for 18 years, and as such know what a rental condo should be and not be. Dan's condo hits all the right points....clean, comfortable, very well equipped, excellent location, comfortable and flexible parking, great views, well equipped common areas with hot tub and pool, and a short walk to restaurants, beach, and other attractions. Check in / check out process is smooth and flawless, nice welcome amenities, very well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed and linens. He is doing a great job with this condo, and I heartily recommend you stay at his place! When we return, this is where we will stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The view from the lanai was beautiful. We spent a lot of time there watching the surf, the early morning swimmers, the rainbows, the gorgeous sunsets.... The property was clean and well-stocked. The owners seemingly thought of everything guests could need, from the obvious paper products and beach towels to the extra thoughtful ziploc bags and coolers. Nice washer and dryer, with detergent, etc available too. The location was ideal: an easy walk to downtown, but far enough away to not get the noise. Dan was great to deal with - very responsive and friendly. If we come back to Hawaii, we'd definitely stay here again.

Just about everything about this condo clicked. The owner Dan was extremely helpful and communicative. The condo was well located, very clean and had a super comfortable bed. We ate in most nights just to catch the sunset. I just cannot say enough about it and would highly recommend it to anyone staying on Big Island Jim

Another great stay! My husband and I have been coming here for a month each year since 2016, and that in itself speaks to how exceptional this condo unit is. The first thing you’ll notice when you enter is how impeccably clean it is, and how well equipped it is. The owners take great pride in this property and are continually keeping it in excellent condition by adding and/or replacing items as needed. The lanai is directly oceanfront, which is great for whale-watching, people-watching, and the sunset viewing. The condo building has multiple bbqs, a heated pool, covered parking, and is located at the edge of the downtown core. Highly recommend a stay in this particular condo unit – I guarantee you will love it!

This place was great. Very well stocked and the owner was great to deal with. This complex is in the perfect location as well. Amazing views in paradise! Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

We spent a lovely, relaxing 10 days at Kona Reef. The condo was clean and well equipped and bed was very comfortable. The location was perfect with great ocean views from the lanai and a short walk to restaurant and shops.

Beautiful view. Loved watching the whales that pop up along the coast. Close to restaurants & shopping. Very nice pool & barbecue area. Everything you might need in the Condo. Would definitely love to stay here again.
